I would highly recommend Bass Bros. Roofing! Communication was great! I always was able to either speak with the owner when I called or received a return call.
They replaced nine skylight lenses for us. The workmen arrived on time both days and worked steadily. We even made a small change in the scope of work which was included and priced fairly. We would definitely use them again!

After several or more requests for a review ... here's mine:
Requested a quote for a metal roof ... instead of using Bass I did it myself using plywood instead of OSB, Titanium PSU30 instead of standard underlayment, and thick gauge PBK panels instead of the thinner metal quoted, all for less than half of Bass' quote (of course I did get a supper discount for the PSU30 @ Foxgal). And because my building was sized to eliminate waste, saved on Bass' Debris Removal fees. The Bidenomics years will be remembered as the worse in my lifetime (which began during Eisenhower).

Absolutely the most professional company I have dealt with. Pictures daily of a job well done! Start to finish they did a fantastic job on my home. Being a mountain home it had its challenges.

My roof had two leaks that started at the same time. I had trouble finding someone to tackle the job until I called Bass Bothers Roofing. Stuart came out quickly and gave me an estimate for the work. The work was completed and currently my roof is not leaking. Special thanks to Jimmy who did a lot of the work on my roof. He was super responsive whenever I called him. My 99-year-old dad lives in the house Stuart’s company also put rain gutter shields that prevent the buildup of Pine-needles and material which reduces the fire hazard.

After a storm when several people were needing roof repairs, we had a leak due in an aged flashing which caused a power outage. Called Stuart Bass, owner of Bass Brothers roofing and they had a crew out that morning. Completely repaired and no more leaks!! Highly recommend as they have always taken care of our roofing needs asap.

We struggled for several years with periodic roof leaks. It seemed every time we had a repair crew out, the leaks still came back.

The Bass Brothers came to my rescue when every roofer within 50 miles of Ruidoso was too busy, didn’t return calls and there were many roofs needing to be replaced. Even so, they contacted me when they already had many roofing contracts ahead of me and showed concern for my situation. Not being a permanent resident, it was difficult not being able to be present and meet face to face. Though the whole process took almost 7 months(winter slowed work down), there were problems and complications, I never lost confidence that they get the job done and deliver the expertise needed. During deconstruction, they revealed the true damage that was hidden from decades of bad repairs and DIY fixes. I went from a tar/gravel roof to TPO, home now stays 15-20 degrees cooler, zero roof leaks, and proper drainage. Highly recommend getting your estimate scheduled ASAP.

I needed a roof put on my daughters house and like everyone else my budget was a little tight; In addition; I wasn’t aware that new building codes now apply. I had gotten estimates from others that were much higher and we’re not going to include meeting these new building codes. Stewart Bass was able to pull a permit, meet these codes, and save me money. My home has a semi-flat southwest style roof. The parapet perimeter was causing leaks and needed to be sealed. Once the extensive repairs were completed, we discovered a couple of small leaks. Bass Brothers came out and fixed the leaks the same day that we called. From the first phone call, estimate visit to the completion of work, Bass Brothers and crew were great. I would use them again.

After two months of having an active roof leak into my home and constantly following up with the technician that supposedly inspected my roof and having him tell me everything from, "I'm preparing your estimate right now," to, "Your estmate is being reviewed," he never emailed me an estimate, ghosted me, and I gave up!

I had even sent photos and videos of the water coming into my home. He responded, acting very sympathetic, but then nothing.

I ended up getting onto my roof myself with a bucket of tar to fix the leak. Ridiculous!

Jeremy and his crew were polite, on time. Very professional. They care about their clients. I had an issue with drainage with my flat roof. They removed the old gutter system and replaced it with new and better functioning drainage. I highly recommend this company. All communication was professional and they made me feel as if I was their only client. They are dedicated to treating their customers with respect and timely results.

We called when another contractor (recommended by angi) failed to show. We were only going to be in Ruidoso for two days. I called Bass Brothers on Wednesday and they came on Thursday and completed the job that day. The response was very nice and the people could not have been more professional as was the work. We never asked for a quote and the price was very good. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I have tried several times to get a hold of this company to no success. When I finally get a hold of someone, I get the run around that they would show up to take a look and no one even shows up just to fix a simple roof repair request I have. I plan to take my business elsewhere as a result. Very unreliable roofing company!

Roofing Team did great work. All were courteous and cleaned everything nicely at each days end. Quality was far superior to original installation and Inspector was very pleased.

I have a vacation house located up the canyon outside of La Luz. In October of 2019, I came home to find the ceiling collapsed in the living room due to hail storm in April of 2019 that showed no evidence of leaking or damage at the time of the hail storm. Every contractor I called had a waiting list 6 months to 1 year out for a new roof and could not fit in any emergency repairs. Finally, I was referred to Bass Brothers Roofing and they came out the next day to assess the situation. The day after that I have a temporary roof repair, that lasted through the snow in the winter and up until the time I got a new roof. There was extensive damage to the interior that they could not repair until a new roof was on. The owner met with State inspector's, due to insurance company not wanting to pay for interior work, even though the roof was covered due to hail damage; and he did everything possible to get the entire scope of work complete and paid by the insurance company. Anyone who has State Farm Insurance buyer beware! All said and done, this company did a great job, not only with the roof but with the interior as well! They are a full service construction company, not just a roofing company, and is taking care of the damage to my back deck, bridge, and front porch. I highly recommend them to complete the work, as agreed, in a straight forward honest manner and to ensure that you are compliant with all new codes, regulations and inspections.

I can’t say enough good things. Showed up on schedule. They called and kept me aware of when the would arrive, workers kept me informed if they left for parts how long they would be gone and notified me when they returned. Worked a full day once started, which was early in the day. Cleaned up at the end of the first day and provided pictures of work completed. You will not be disappointed. I paid just a little more than my lowest bid and so happy I did. This could not have been a more pleasant experience.

Quality operation at bass brothers! The experienced crew was knowledgeable, hard-working, on time and communicated well about the progress of the job. A foreclosure I Purchased last year had a roof leak around the chimney that clearly had not been addressed properly for years so a lot of repairs were needed and they did an excellent job!Definitely would recommend bass brothers roofing!!

This is the worst roofing company in all of Ruidoso!! He implied that he would reroof our roof within a few weeks after the insurance company ok’ed the new roof. It took nearly 5 months to get them to come to the house to replace the roof. Then after he agrees to the price he added nearly 5,000 grand more to the cost, AFTER the insurance company closed the account. If we had not given a deposit we would have looked for a better and more prompt roofer. Then his wife has the audacity to send us a nasty email while we are working with the insurance company to get our account reopened, a week after he added the extra 5 grand, but sends all her emails with her fake Jesus loves me b.s. Then the owner sends a text message telling us that he is “pissed” because it’s been 3 weeks since he added on the extra 5,000, and wanted the money now. Mind you we never once got nasty with him about it taking 5 months for him to come out and replace the roof. Dishonest, makes up additional charges, extremely unprofessional, and rude.Beware!!!

Bass Brothers recently re-shingled my home and they did an incredible job. They showed up early Monday morning and were COMPLETELY finished on Thursday. I didn't know it could be done so fast.
They completely stripped my old shingles and tar paper underlayment on day 1. They put down a tarp to catch debris and had a large tow-behind trailer/dumpster for the stripped material. They even cleaned up the property at the end of their work day!!
They replaced several areas of plywood roof sheathing with OSB. I had some old water damage in a few areas, but not anymore.
The new underlayment is a synthetic material that is better than tar paper and I expect it last as long as the 30 year architectural shingles they installed.
New drip edge all around and new cement-style fascia boards were installed VERY nicely. The cuts were precise with little to no gaps. What gaps did exist, were caulked.
Diego was my point of contact for the entire contract / job and he was professional and personable throughout the process. He explained everything to me from the estimate, through the insurance processing, to the final inspection of his crew's work. I have never encountered a more professional, well spoken, and knowledgeable person in the trades than Diego.
The work crew leader, Josh, was equally professional. I really appreciated his patience in answering my questions and taking the time to show and explain what was going on with my roof.

We hired Bass Bros. in late Jan. 2019 for a 23' × 11' section of flat roof, which had leaked into the ceiling of our sunroom. Diego came & inspected the job then worked with us to find a solution that fit our budget. Once scheduled, Diego & his crew worked dilligently & professionally to finish the job. Upon completion, Diego again inspected the job to make sure all work was completed as specified. We've since had a couple of rainstorms & the roof has not leaked.
