This is a top notch company, from initial consultation to completion of our project. Our project included a new roof and replacing the cedar siding with Hardie Board. My first impression was that this is a well managed organization, and that turned out to be true. The workers were highly skilled. They started work when they said they would. They completed the project when they said they would. It seems to me that the materials are high quality. The workers worked from sun up to sun down. They knew what they were doing. They were kind. The company was highly communicative, told me what to expect, when to expect it, and addressed all of my concerns without question. They did my project, and did not try to fit other projects in between. They worked until completion. The price was competitive with other quotes I received, maybe a little less, but the work ethic and product were superior. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with Bak Brothers. We contracted Bak Brothers to reconstruct our back deck. The process was smooth and professional from beginning to end. Scott and Joe did an amazing job planning and constructing the deck. Scott walked us through the process and helped us pick the right colors and design that fit our house. You could tell Joe is a very experienced builder and made sure to get all the details right. We will be sure to hire Bak for future contracting needs!

Great company, great work. It took a bit longer than anticipated to begin the project and longer than anticipated to complete it (but better than any other contractor we have recently worked with) but the final project is outstanding. We are looking forward to more projects with Bak Brothers.

Bak Brothers did my roof and gutters. Overall it was a great experience. From the start, working with Artur to understand what was needed he was very transparent with costs and options. They were always responsive leading up to the start of the job and once the job started, they were good with providing updates and answering questions. We called Bak brothers to repair the siding and flashing that got damaged during a storm. Their communication is excellent. Bak Brothers did a fantastic job on our complete bathroom renovation and the end result looks fantastic.They handled the tear down, repairs, and installation of everything from start to finish, and the small hiccups we had were mostly from myself accidentally getting incompatible items, which Bak fixed with their recommendations. They were very transparent with the prices too, and I appreciate knowing what the costs were all the way through, including the small fixes needed here and there from the old bathroom. They also offer either full service, or you can buy the things you need too, so you can get the bathroom you want exactly. Artur, Greg, and his contractors did a great job and highly recommend :)

I have had Bak Brothers do two significant home projects for me and I can say I am super pleased with the work they have done. They did my roof and gutters and were done in just a few days. They also replaced my large front porch and it looks fantastic. They work quickly but ensure they do things right. My father was a custom home builder and I know the difference between good craftsmanship and well, work that is not. They do really good work and will be using them on other projects.

I recently completed a kitchen renovation with Bak Bros and if I could I would give them 10 stars. Artur was easy to work with, listened to all my questions and concerns and addressed them all before we even started the project. And they were price competitive with my 3 other bids. I was worried it would take longer than expected as most projects do, but he predicted 4-6 weeks and it was done in 4. The trades people they use were all fantastic, did a beautiful job with tile, painting cabinets, carpentry, counters, electric, plumbing, etc. But the real star of the show was Greg, the project manager. He was organized, efficient and communicative. I love the finished product and I equally loved the journey. I cannot recommend Bak Bros enough.

We began gathering estimates for a James Hardie exterior re-siding of our cedar sided home in late winter. We received estimates from three local, reputable installers. Bak Brothers' estimate was in the mid-range of the three. What convinced us to go with Bak Brothers was the responsive, thoughtful engagement with sales rep Scott Dunda. Scott provided excellent service, and was responsive to our needs as the process proceeded.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Bak Brothers for a major home improvement project. They installed new siding, windows, and doors on my detached garage, which is a very old structure. I was thoroughly impressed by their attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship. Despite the challenges posed by the age of the building, Bak Brothers tackled the project with skill and professionalism. The end result exceeded my expectations!

We used Bak Brothers to replace our entry doors and front windows. We're really happy we went with them, they used the same quality doors and windows that the regional and national companies were suggesting to us, but at a much more reasonable price to install (total cost was lower and more reasonable with Bak).

Scott Dunda was very helpful with guiding us through all of the various options and getting all the decisions together for the project. There was no sacrifice in craftsmanship, I was here for the entire process and I was very impressed and happy with the time and precision they put into everything. We did have a slight miscommunication with the project lead, Greg, early on regarding timing, but that was rectified quickly and we were all back on the same page without issue.

All in all, I liked working with these guys so much that they are on our short list for any future house projects where they can help. I strongly recommend them.

We had a minor fire accident from one of our contractor which created some damage to our family room, utility room, and exterior siding and wood. The contractor, of course, wanted to take care of this and connected us with Bak Brother to handle all the repairs.

We trusted their recommendation (they asked us if we wanted to choose our own contractors).

Bak Brothers did an outstanding job all the way around. This included dry walling, painting, and replacing the molding in our family room.

The re-insulated our utility room and also completely repaired the exterior damage to the house with the siding and the paint.

We absolutely love the work BAK Brothers did on our home! The grey Hardie Board siding gave our home a 21st Century look. The owners and workers were very responsive to our needs.

Working with Bak Brothers has been entirely painless, from initial conversations and estimation to having the work performed. We had the team do a full roof tear off and replace, and they repaired and tuck-pointed our chimney as well. After meeting with him, we felt we could trust Artur and his team to do the work at the highest level of quality, providing a work product that we could all be proud of, and our house looks great. The team was efficient, cleaned the site thoroughly, took pictures of the work in progress and when it was completed, kept us informed, and generally just impressed us. 1st order with Bak Brothers was for 5 new front windows in 100 year old Chicago Bungalow. We were so pleased with Bak Brothers that upon completion, we placed a second order with them for our rental property (another 100 y.o. bungalow).

From Scott in Sales, to Greg in Project Management, and Ilik for Installation, we have found the Bak employees to be professional and polite. They are engaging, but not chatty, and always answered our questions and concerns. Bak Bros. demonstrated a strict attention to detail, initiating a claim on two sashes where they did not approve of the product (before we saw the windows). All three employees who visited our house were aware of their surroundings, being careful not to disrupt our house (any more than necessary), and to clean up after their work. They demonstrated knowledge of the products (Marvin windows for our jobs) and provided their experience-based input as needed. They did a great job matching the style on an existing window, and they were willing to use a stain that we provided so the wood matched well. Removal of the old windows was careful, so our 100 year old plaster walls only needed minor "touch-up" repairs.

Bak Brothers was not the cheapest installer we spoke with, but we did not want cheap work. We have been pleased with Marvin windows and feel they are a good product, but we needed them installed well. We feel that the quality of the installation work and the excellent customer service are the value in the Bak Brothers price. We are looking forward to the second job and the transformation it promises.

Artur came to my house, inspected the roof, showed me detailed pictures and explained why a replacement was necessary and what needed to be done. He then explained the entire process from start to finish in a detailed way that I could understand! His project manager, Mac, was also excellent. The best! Artur is one of the nicest people, let alone contractors, I’ve ever met. He came in and gave us great advice for what we should consider for our bathroom remodel and has a wealth of technical knowledge both with respect to design and construction. He delivered a very fair quote for the bathroom remodel and made sure to introduce me to his Interior Lead, Mark, before work started.

I can’t write enough good things about Mark either. He and his crew were courteous, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They meticulously placed drop clothes and plastic runners on our flooring to keep it clean and were very respectful of our home. I felt completely at ease letting them come in during the day while we were at work. They encountered a few minor surprises along the way (as is traditional with any remodel!) and knew exactly what to do.

The quality of the remodel was excellent. We are so happy with our new space and would HIGHLY recommend Bak Brothers. Amazing from beginning to end!

Update: We recently had Bak Brothers come out to explore a water issue outside our home. We thought it was an issue from the siding but it turns out it wasn't. It was something entirely different. Greg came out and worked through to discover where the water was coming from. While it wasn't a Bak Brother issue, he stepped up and told us they would help us with it. He kept us updated all along the way and communicated when to expect someone to come onsite to handle the next step of the repair. They left the work area spotless each time. I am impressed once again with the quality of the work completed and customer service Bak Brothers provides.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Bak Brothers. Starting with the quoting process - Artur was thorough and paid attention to detail with our request for a siding quote. He explained the detailed installation process during our initial meeting. His quote was presented to us in a binder with an explanation about each line item on the quote. He gave us a wide variety of options. We had gotten quotes from 3 other contractors and Bak Brothers blew them all away with the detail. We knew after that, we were making the right choice with Bak Brothers.

We were updated with start dates, what would happen during the installation and all along the way, Ben would check in to make sure we were aware of any changes. The installers, Simon and Mark, were friendly and did an amazing job of cleaning up the job site at the end of each day.
We have two small rescue dogs and asked that they keep the backyard gate closed when they were working in the back. They were on top of it all the time.

Our project was a substantial job and spending what we were spending, we are very happy with the finished project and incredibly happy that we choose Bak Brothers for the project.

I smile every day when I drive up and see the beautiful work that Bak Bros. did to the exterior of our house.The exterior front door that Arthur Bak suggested for us is much better quality than I imagined, and the siding they installed is gorgeous. We needed major repairs to our foyer caused by water damage that were done perfectly. You can be assured all of the Bak Bros workmen will complete the job to your satisfaction. The painter they sent to complete the job was A+.
Moving forward into spring, Bak Bros will be the first call I make to tackle all of the work that will need to be done to refresh my 40 year old home.
