Scott remounted our kitchen sink under the granite and rebuilt the cabinet below. He installed a new faucet, as well. All work was performed professionally to our complete satisfaction. Ethan and his team were very easy to work with and we will be using them in the future for our home repairs.

My sump pump pipes broke in a storm and my entire finished basement flooded. Ethon Begone and his team from American Home Maintenance came to my house ins short order and began shutting off water and began to rod all my sewer pipes. They were quick efficient and very thorough. While the flood ruined thee finished portion of the basement they were able to stop the flooding in short order and prevented damage to my furnace, AC, hot water heater and washer and dryer. They were very good and i can't recommend them highly enough. After the insurance settlement I will definitely use them to restore the basement.

Terrible customer service. The "CEO" Ethon is extremely unprofessional and rude.

I don’t often write reviews but I figured this might help someone. It’s always frustrating when you know there is something wrong with your house - roof leak, appliance doesn’t work or a plumbing problem. It always sucks knowing that when you call someone you don’t know if you can trust them or if they will charge you a stupid amount of money and forget about you.

Then there are guys like Ethon and Scott who did everything the right way. They worked with my schedule, took their time diagnosing what and where my problem is and tried to do everything as efficiently as possible not to bill me for things that were not necessary. They were both great to work and gave me piece of mind.

I had American Home Maintenance do some amazing work on the inside of my house. While they were there- some of my many outside shutters were disintegrating. I needed to replace them all. I wasn’t sure who to call. Scott, who was doing my inside work, said that they could take care of them for me. So, he counted and measured them. Then Ethon, the owner, ordered them. Once they arrived Scott came back to install. So easy and my house looks brand new again! I am so happy. I will definitely use the company again.

Ethon is a true professional with expert knowledge in this field. His staff is courteous and competent. AHM services go beyond construction and repair, Ethon worked tirelessly to help us evaluate potential home purchases. He was available 24/7 to answer all our questions. AHM is the best and there is no reason to call anyone else.

Ethon did an excellent job on an unusual shower repair. He saved us a lot of money, and the shower looks brand new. We will absolutely use American Home Maintenance again.

Ethon is amazing. He helped rebuild my garage after a fire and now I call him with any home projects. He's incredibly fair and honest and does things the right way. Ethon provided a creative recommendation for fixing an issue with our basement windows. Pricing was fair. Greg came and did the work, and he was both skilled and an all around good guy. For trickier home fixes and solutions, I’ll turn to Ethon again in a heartbeat.

I used American Home Maintenance Service and Repairs, LLC for a room renovation in the basement. Ethon was very knowledgeable and responsive throughout the duration of the renovation. There was an issue with the initial pricing for the project which was increased after the bid was sent out and signed, but was possibly a simple mistake with software. AHMS was still competitive price wise but also able to schedule the work sooner than other similar repair companies. For the most part the work was done at a professional level, however a few issues weren't resolved prior to completion. Outlet boxes were installed prior to drywall installation and stick out from the drywall quite a bit with the outlet cover on. This will have to be repaired by another company prior to selling the house as it is extremely noticeable. Despite that and a few other issues, the overall quality of work was acceptable.

American Home Maintenance did a great job of providing timely and high-quality service. They were able to diagnose a plumbing issue and devise a quick and cost-effective solution. The staff was courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again!

Ethon and his team did a great job with what was requested. We explained that we wanted to upgrade our bathroom fans as well as vent them out through our roof. Ethon explained everything that would be done and gave us a cost so we knew exactly what to expect. His tech (Edgar) did a great job completing the task. I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought a storm door and needed it to be installed . Ethon came and looked at the door and told me he will have one of his guys contact me . As promised , I got a txt from Greg Abshire and we decided on time and date . Greg was on time, very professional, cordial and trustworthy. He did a great job .

I recently had Ethon out to install new light fixtures. He arrived on time and did a great job. He was also very helpful in explaining to me what he was doing and why (had analog fixtures and switches, bought digital fixtures). I've used American Home Maintenance for several projects at our home including installation of a catch basin to prevent pooling in our backyard, foundation repair, water heater installation, and other plumbing, electrical and home repairs; basically a GC for all of your home maintenance and repairs. While not necessarily the cheapest around, you get what you pay for, and our projects have always come within budget. Working with Ethon (owner) is a pleasure, he is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and truly cares about getting the job done properly and on budget. If you want to take on projects yourself, or parts of projects, he is more than willing to provide you guidance. Best of all Ethon is very responsive which is rare in the contractor world. We will continue to use American Home Maintenance and recommend this company.

I've had an unbelievably unprofessional experience today with Ethan at American Home Maintenance. On three separate occasions, my request for assistance with a few projects was not confirmed, and only stated as "I'll try to get my guys out there". Today, a tech showed up, without any confirmation of time, while I was leading a work call. I had to cancel. Ethan then proceeded to text me that I was going to be billed, and following additional texts, then stated, "Trust me I don't need your recommendations. I knew this was going to be a problem the second I laid eyes on you..."

Apparently, I was judged for the way I looked, "the second Ethan laid eyes on me".

Ethon gave me a one hour window for their arrival. They arrived when they said they would. Did the job faster than expected, for less than the estimate, and the work exceeded my expectation. What more can you ask? I will be using AHM again, and soon.

Ethon is the best!! He's helped me so much lately with a variety of issues around my house, including: repair of wood floors, fixed door lock, outside flood lights, and much more. Also, beyond anything else, these guys are reliable.

Ethon knows what he is doing. I had him hang my antique chandelier in my historic home in Lake Forest. He was very careful when moving my furniture & he didn't scratch anything. He was quick and gracious. I recommend them whole hardily.
