Bailey's Chimney Cleaning & Repair

The technician, Matthew, was competent and personable. I had called Bailey’s to clean out the vent to my clothes dryer, but Matthew, after checking the vent, told me that a cleaning was not needed. I appreciated the honesty. Another plus was that I did not have to wait long for an appointment.

Totally Satisfied: I was slipped into their schedule quickly.
Two lovely young men came, vacuumed and conquered!
Also noted, the work truck was very clean and organized, always a good sign.

When we used our wood stove for the 1st time late fall there definitely was a problem. We called Bailey's and they worked us in even though it was not easy for them. The 2 young men that did the job were on time (they called us 10min out), efficient, pleasant and informative. They did a pretty good job at keeping all as clean as possible. We have used Bailey's before. We certainly will use them again and I highly recommend them !

We had a new Kuma wood stove installed to replace our old one - and a new chimney. From Doreenda and Yolanda in the office, to Gabe and Rob who did the removal and installation, we couldn't ask for better service and all our questions were answered. 2 techs came to our home to clean the chimney. We've had them before and were happy with the service we received. This time we were equally pleased. They were on time, got straight to work and cleaned up. They showed me pics of the cleaned chimney. They also checked the dryer vent. We will use them again.

I met two of the technicians when my downstairs neighbor was having her dryer vent cleaned. They were so friendly that I immediately went home and booked my own appointment. They are so knowledgable, professional, and nice! They were also very mindful of keeping the work area clean and free of damage. I wish every service provider was like them! The receptionists were also extremely friendly and helpful when booking the appointment. Highly recommend.

They have done routine maintenance on our fire place for many years. Always does a great job and never ever made a mess. Last year relined the fireplace, adde a couple of feet to the chimney and now NO smoke even on a windy day. Highly recommend

Can't say enough good things about Mathew and his team. This was our third year having them service our wood stove which, as our primary source of heat, gets a lot of use in the winter months here in the foothills of Southern Colorado. They are prompt, knowledgeable, conscientious, and leave virtually no trace. We have already scheduled with them for next year. Highly recommended.

We had two chimneys and dryer ducts cleaned. The technicians were professional; they did a great job cleaning the chimneys and dryer ducts. Proper safety precautions were taken. The status of the chimneys were described clearly afterwards and photos of the cleaned flues were shown and later provided in the reports. Excellent work and very professional behavior!

The technicians were very courteous and professional, and they left both areas they worked in clean. Showed us the before and after pictures and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. The guys did a great job of cleaning and giving us a detailed report with photos and a very good explanation and advice about what repairs might be needed to get the chimneys in tip top shape. The cleaners are professional, thorough, on time and if running late, they let you know. They work so that the house and fireplace area stay clean throughout the process. The cleaners also take before/after photos to show exactly what they did and they identify any additional problems that need attending to. I received a text that Matthew and his assistant were on their way to our home and they arrived on time. We were not home at the time and had set up everything so that they had access to our home to perform a level 2 cleaning and inspection of our fireplace. they left our place very clean and secure. I highly recommend Bailey's Chimney Cleaning & Repair. Doreenda was very knowledgeable in helping us replace our existing stove for a new Kuma insert. Gilbert and his assistant's were very friendly and professional. They were also very knowledgeable. The installation went seamlessly. We have not started a fire in the insert yet, but are looking forward to a warm and toasty winter.

Complicated vent piping made the job a challenge, but was handled with ease. Dryer vent hadnt been cleaned in 2 years and definitely needed attention. I have been with Baileys since I moved back to Santa Fe in 2016. found their ad in a google search. Best search I have ever done. This company is absolutely the best! Matt and Ricardo came out yesterday and did a great job. Courteous, friendly and professional, they not only did a thorough cleaning job, but inspected everything and gave me a briefing with photos on my wood stove and fireplace. A customer just cannot ask for more. Do not hesitate to call Bailey's if you want the best service out there.

I have used Bailey's for years. They cleaned and built 3 caps for my 3 chimneys in Taos. Now they have cleaned my chimney in my new home in Santa Fe. They were on time and well trained. They showed me clear photos of my entire flue and chimney, recommended some repairs without being pushy, and gave enough detail for me to 'know what I got going forward'.

This is the first time we used Bailey's to clean our chimneys and woodstoves. The crew was very professional, courteous and left both areas where the stoves are located very clean, no ash residue.

Bailey’s installed a new stove in our home recently. I worked with Doreenda over 6 months through many delays to get the stove I wanted. It was not their stove and not their fault and they graciously kept rescheduling my install date to accommodate my stove company delays.

We purchased a home with fireplaces did not meet code. Bailey’s inspected them, explained work that needed to be done and did a great job with minimal disruption. Just a heads up-plan ahead because they are very busy!

He and his partner arrived wearing masks (conscientious about COVID) and explained the work they would do. They were efficient, knowledgeable and very clean. I have had nothing but great experiences with Bailey’s. They helped us rebuild our chimney to make it much much safer than it was before. And now when they come to inspect and clean the chimney they are always right on time, efficient with their work, intelligent and thoughtful with the customer and they do a great job cleaning up after themselves. These things are not so common in Santa Fe. I recommend them whenever I get the chance.

The crew arrived and got right to work. The work area was protected. The photos of the chimney pipe before and after cleaning were impressive. I have never had photos from any previous chimney cleaning company.
Although they were delayed in arriving I received a call to keep me informed and I was okay with that.

Their equipment was really cool. I liked it that they explained what it all was for and exactly what they were doing and why. They were more informative than my surgeon. That they did this also confirmed my suspicions I had been shifted before with others who had told me nothing was wrong when it very well was. Now that Nick and Lucas took care of everything, my dryer works better than it ever has!

Aside from cleaning the duct and vent, they also cleaned everything up including the back of the inside of the dryer something the in-home service repairman has never even acknowledged existed. But Nick showed me it does exist!

They were also really fun and took my old boomer jokes well. I will definitely use them again and refer Bailey's to others. I only wish I could give them 10 Stars as they are my heroes.

I have t0 get my wood stove cleaned every year due to the amount of wood I burn. I live in a Geodesic Dome and I am so glad that they do not have to climb up to the top but the can perform the cleaning from inside which is more safer. They always do a thorough job and are very professional. Totally recommend them!
