What an amazing experience! My flashing and chimney exhaust vent both needed repairing as they suddenly were leaking very heavily during rain. I called up Ben and left a message and he got back to me on the phone within minutes. He came within the hour, went on the roof, diagnosed the issues, and gave me a quote. He showed me photos of what the problems were. He said he could come the next day to do the work which was perfect for me. He was extremely polite and unlike many contractors I have dealt with in the past (I am a woman), he spoke to me with utter respect which I really appreciated. (Many contractors assume that because I am a woman I don't understand things and are abrupt and rude). He spent the afternoon buying my parts and confirmed with me on the phone that all was ready. The next morning he arrived spot on time and started working despite the icy freezing cold wind. His father also came to help. They were incredible! Despite working on the roof I would hardly know they were there (apart from the expected hammering and repair sounds). There was no shouting, loud noises, music, things dropping from the roof, or clattering of tools and ladders. The work took about 5 hours to complete. When it was done, Ben knocked quietly on my door. He showed me photos of all the work in progress, the old parts, the new parts and the finished work. I paid with a check on the spot and received an email receipt with detailed work description and associated photos within a couple of hours. Everything was cleared away and left neat and tidy. This all was such a pleasant experience. I am so grateful for the wonderful work, the politeness, and the care and respect to my property. I will definitely use B. Marshall in the future for my home repairs. I highly recommend them!

I had B Marshall Home Improvement's to my house because I had a leak coming from my roof. Ben who is the son of the owner came to look at the issue, and immediately knew what was causing the problem. He gave me an estimate of the work, and the next day Ben and his dad fixed the issue in one hours time. I have had other company’s in the past because this has been an ongoing problem when it rains hard. Other company’s have never been able to determine what the cause was. They have come up with different reasons that never made sense to me.
Ben is very respectful and extremely competent. He’s also a really nice person, and so easy to work with. I highly recommend this company. I will certainly be using them in the future with other projects.

We had a great experience with B Marshall! Hardworking father and son partnership and we are very pleased with work done. They repaired and painted our shed, did gutters, cleaned up, recaulked and painted windows and door, power washed our deck and front porch. They also replaced deck boards, wood lattice and fixed fence before sealing all of it. They were willing to do extra things we requested and did a great job. We are happy to recommend them as hardworking, honest, professionals that take pride in their work. They are great at coming up with solutions that make sense even if its extra work for them! We wish everyone that we hired to do work on our property had the same work ethic. We feel they have a wealth of experience to troubleshoot and solve many homeowner repair problems!

I ran my address through home advisor to see what an average cost for a project would be. These guys then showed up at my house an hour later in the middle of a work day. When I said I wasn't interested, the gentleman who I assume was a salesman decided to blame me for not calling them to tell them not to come to our house. I found him unprofessional and rude.

B Marchall made our 100-year-old farmhouse look young again with an excellent painting and gutter service. Prompt, professional, friendly, excellent pricing. They are our call-first for home improvement projects.
