This contractor is a scam artist: fails to obtain permits, instead of repairing damage hides it instead, fakes building materials bills, and uses the courts to extort money when he's fired or walks off a job. Remember people: it costs more to win back your money, and in many cases more to defend yourself from a BS lawsuit by a scammer than it is to settle.
