Absolutely trash business. I hired this company to repair very minor stuff in my house in Union Grove. The owner is seemingly nice but he hires absolute hacks who came to my house often and asked me what needs to be done since they didn’t even knew. I am selling my house and had to repair a great portion of the work I paid for to have this company do. It’s clearly just a side gig for this guy or something. With the name of attention to detail you’d expect better I don’t know….ATTENTION TO DETAIL! Lol. Whatever I guess. This is what I get for hiring the first company to call me back. He left a solid extra half inch gap on one of my light switches in my basement so that I had to repair the wall just to put a normal cover on. Screwed up my outlet covers and just left it. “Repaired” my porch which I had to nail back down since he didn’t actually fix any portion of it. Built me a new porch with two loose boards on the porch. Oh and he refused to put my baseboards back together because “we’re not going to dig through your house to do that”. The baseboards were right there. Laid out next to the wall he put up. He never showed up to the job site until it was time to collect his money. Go figure. You should be ashamed of your work but whatever. These people exist everywhere. Hire someone else. Trust me. I’ll never forget his “you’ll probably still sell your home” line after I paid him. Working in law enforcement I value honesty more than anything. This guy doesn’t have one bone in his body that’s honest. Eventually your work will catch up to you. Be sure of that. You can’t run a company like this.

Steve and his crew did a GREAT job remodeling our bathroom. They removed our old bathtub and replaced it with a walk-in shower, replaced the floor and added a beautiful backsplash. They were on time, courteous and respectful of our home throughout the process. We love our new bathroom and would highly recommend Attention To Detail for any home improvement project.

Steve and his crew were very professional, kind and did a great job turning my garage into a hobby space. Steve is great as explaining what needs to be done in order to achieve the wanted outcome!! Respectful men who are experts in remodeling.

Steve did a great job adding the railings on my front porch. He came to give me an fair estimate and got to work days later. I was out of town while the work was being done, but Steve was really good at sending pictures to inform me of the progress. When I returned home the railing looked like it was always there.

They were very professional and got the job done quick. Did a great job replacing our patio door and windows. Definitely recommend them and would do business with them again!

Used Attention To Detail for a kitchen remodel a couple years ago. Awful workmanship asked my wife for final payment before finished. Very unhappy with the work. Update: I notified you of issues has I found them while you were still here, you ignored that, I didn't think you would bother coming back once you were paid. As for it being finished I had to finish the plumbing and hire another person to do the tile in the hallway which that I was ok with. The hallway tiles are level and don't "pop" when you walk on them.

Don’t waste your time on this flake.

I thought this guy would be a reliable contractor to do some work on my house. Guy came out to do an estimate and gave me a nice impressive folder with a picture of him in Navy whites. Looked around and talked a big game about having his guys do the work. He writes down my email address. A months later? No estimate. I even called him. He tells me “oh, yeah. I’m still working on your estimate.” Never called back. Never emailed. Not particularly surprised. Most tradesmen in this area seem to be scrounged out of jails and homeless shelters. I doubt this guy does decent work if he can’t even manage to meet the basic requirements of civil society: calling someone back.

We had our master bathroom remodeled, and we loved the end result. Steve was great to work with, and did a beautiful job. We had lots of questions, and he would offer different options for us. We would work with Steve again in a heartbeat. THANKS STEVE!!

We used Attention to Detail for a LARGE deck project and could not be happier with how it turned out! Their name is 100% accurate-they TRULY pay attention to every detail to ensure what they produce is of the highest quality. Steve and his crew replaced some cedar siding on our home and repaired a window that has always leaked. Wonderful job done quickly and perfectly. We will definitely use him again for other home projects.

We had some general, small repairs that needed to be taken care of. These were done very well and for a reasonable price. In addition, they ordered and installed a new back sliding door for us. All communication was clear and responsive. I would not hesitate to use Attention to Detail again.

Steve's teams did a number of jobs for me last year. 6 new windows, basement demolition, built walls and installed flooring. Quotes were accurate, no surprises at the end. Good communication. Always showed up as planned. Everything turned out perfectly. Will definitely be using Attention to Detail for future projects.

They were hired to put in, a new kitchen floor and island. I hired them 11/03/19 and was told by owner Steve Anderson that it would be done in time for Thanksgiving.
They did everything wrong from the start (he did not have skilled workers, one was a chef and the other, who knows). They took up part of the floor and never masked anything (so the construction dirt and dust is all over newly painted walls and expensive leather furniture). Had to hire professional cleaners to come in and clean up all the construction dirt mess.
He (Mr. Anderson)installs an island in the wrong place (all he had to do is put it where the original one was) he put it where I could not move my refrigerator out, without removing its doors. Then he laughs about installing the island wrong! He says he would get someone in to move it to the right place-that never happened! He just lied about that, for he didn't have anyone to fix all his mistakes.
I had two professional home remodel guys come in and they couldn't understand how this guy (Anderson) could be in business (shoddy workmanship)and they really got a kick out of his name "Attention To Detail".
They"Attention To Detail", also had a plumbing place come in and hook up the water under the sink and their plumber told me that I could go ahead and use my dishwasher (which I did) and approx. 12 gallons of water from my dishwasher went back into my finished basement ceiling! (His plumber failed to tighten the pipes properly!) So now I'm in the process of re-doing my damaged basement ceiling.
I wouldn't recommend "Attention To Detail",even to build a dog house, for they would screw that up also!
I'am enclosing pictures, 1st one is how he left my kitchen (had to cancel company, that I had coming for Thanksgiving dinner). The 2nd one is how my kitchen and island is now after being done by a professional!

Steve and his staff have done quite a few jobs for me over the years. From storm door installation to ceiling fans to bathroom upgrades, he has charged fair prices for excellent workmanship. Unlike most other contractors, he returns calls, sets appointments and keeps them! His crew are professional, friendly, and trustworthy. Attention to Detail is simply the best contractor I have ever used!

Attention to Detail has done amazing work at our place of business. They are always a pleasure to work with and get all of our tasks done in a timely manner. Hired Steve and his crew to install 2 new doors, one slider and one french door. I am a professional home inspector and look for everything. Steve did an awesome job from removing the trim and replacing it without a hint of damage to cleaning up afterwords. Great company in my opinion. Highly recommend them for any home improvement project you may have in mind.

I also appreciate that he follows up on the work in progress as well as the work completed, making sure things are done the way they should be. His workmanship is excellent. Met Steve, the owner, at Menards during a contractor day. Set up an appointment the following week. He was reliable and very reasonable priced on the repair I needed on my basement foundation. Work was done promptly and I was very satisfied! I highly recommend Attention to Detail Home Improvement & Repairs for all your home repair needs! Will definitely use his service for other household needs.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star but I had to in order to be able to post this review. Last year we hired Attention to Detail to do work in our kitchen. They were to Install a vent, clean up drywall, install two can lights and an under cabinet light. They damaged our cooktop, scratched up the vent, and installed the under-cabinet light improperly. We never were able to use the can lights because they would get too hot. I had a licensed electrician out yesterday to discuss re-doing all the electrical work Attention to Detail put in. Not only did Attention to Detail install the under the cabinet light improperly (placement and electrically), but he put can lights in that are not rated to have insulation above them. The licensed electrician informed me the can lights are a fire hazard. I do not believe he is a licensed electrician, with that said he should not be doing electrical work putting peoples safety at risk. I would never recommend Attention to Detail to anyone. Consumer beware you will pay more to correct all their carelessness and mistakes.

Steve did a full bathroom remodel including a custom tile shower for me. He does excellent work and was very personable and reliable. I would highly recommend Attention to Detail for all remodeling needs!
