Great service from a licensed and certified Home Inspector. Realtor suggested another guy, checked out the realtor suggestion, his guy was not even a home inspector, he was a contractor with no experience! Alton Darty inspected the home, answered my questions, and spent nearly an hour in the filthy crawlspace and another 1/2 hour in the tiny attic. Got the report the next day, full of photos, descriptions of what was wrong, and explanation of how it was wrong.
Was Darty's price higher than some of the others? Yes, but seeing the way he worked and the report produced, it was well worth the extra money and guy should be charging more.
