I called Atlantic Roofing on Tuesday morning. Bill came to look at the job that same afternoon. He brought a ladder, went up on the roof to walk the whole roof and assess the points of concern. He came inside to assess the water damage I had spotted. He went back out to identify each place that needed to be repaired. He wrote up a contract that Michelle emailed to me. Fully pleased with the contract, I signed and submitted. Not even one week later, I was notified that Edward would come the following morning at 7:30 to repair the roof. Bill came with him to show him all points needing repair. Within a few hours, the job was finished. That same evening, Bill returned, got back on the roof to inspect the repairs and was confident the job was complete. I was able to confirm payment by phone. Start to finish, from estimate to completion, roof repaired and paid for in ONE WEEK!

They sent a kid to my house. He took a tool on my roof a lifted shingles now my roof is leaking more than ever before. I called the office a week after he left my house to see what the estimate would be. The office lady said she didn't have my paper work but she would call me right back. I still haven't heard from them. My neighbors recommended atlantic roofing they said they were sorry I got treated that way. I'm really disappointed. I thought they were a stand up company.

Atlantic Roofing replaced our roof in one day, working into the dark to do it. Two days later we had rain and high winds—but no leaks! Bill and crew were pleasant and professional to work with, did what they promised, and left my yard clean. I recommend them.

This is a follow-up to my review last month. Since this review, we’ve had a number of storms and Nor’easters in the area with lots of heavy rain and wind. I’m happy to say that the roof repair that Atlantic Roofing did the first time has held up without any leaks! We are very satisfied with work and would definitely recommend Atlantic Roofing for our future roofing need.

Atlantic Roofing – I called around after the recent Hurricane Dorian came through, and we noticed a leak in our downstairs TV room. I called on a Saturday, and Bill Johnston came out on Monday to assess the damage and gave me a quote to fix the leak, replace the flashing and re-shingle the affected area on my roof. Once we settled on the price and contract, Bill told me that it would be 2-3 weeks before he could send a team out to fix the problem. Luckily, there hasn’t been any rain or storms in the meantime, and Bill was able to send a team out earlier to complete then work. The work was completed as promised, and Bill followed up afterwards to ensure that I was satisfied with the outcome. I told him I was very satisfied with the quality of work, reasonable price and timeliness of the work. Of course now I’m waiting on the next storm to see if the issue is truly resolved. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Roofing for your roofing problems.

Call Atlantic Roofing first !!!

The roofer that installed the roof on the house that I bought five years ago was chosen by the Realtor for the previous homeowner. It was her "preferred" roofer. The roof was inferior and left me with problems like ceiling leaks, flashing issues, shingles too close to rake (I think that's what it's called) and poor quality shingles. The previous roofer was hard to deal with and I knew I was getting nowhere with this person. Had an excuse for everything.

Long story short, after one repair already (by previous roofer) and a suspicious leak going on between my house and the connected out-building, I called Atlantic Roofing & Siding. I wish I would have called them first. Bill was awesome, explained everything to me, no pressure. I was happy with the price. The crew was respectful, clean and worked hard all day in 90+ degree weather. Bill came out and re-inspected the job after they finished.

All I can say is that when I drive up in my driveway, I say to myself, that's a good looking roof and my ultimate pipe collars are the ultimate! I have peace of mind and I'm not sweating bullets when it rains.

I just had Atlantic fix a roof leak and replace some rotted cement board. They were absolutely fantastic. Bill came and looked at the job. I received an estimate immediately. Bad experience with $2,500 repair to my 5yo roof that leaked only 4 yrs later. Sent a guy out that only made excuses and said the office would call me back. Never called. I paid another $2,900 for different contractor to do it right. He said Atlantic usually has a good reputation, but was shocked how poor & inadequate their repair was. Have notes and pics + plan to do BBB case & small claim court if necessary.

I worked with Bill and Edwin to repair the flashing and surrounding roof around our leaking chimney. They were professional, prompt, and exceeded our expectations in the job they did. We got three quotes from different companies before going with them, and their pricing was comparable but had the quickest and best service. If we have further issues with our roof, we will work with them again.

Can't recommend Atlantic enough! Friendly and great service! We were set up for an estimate less than a day after I called. Bill is AWESOME! We spoke with a few companies over the past year to replace our roof. Between crazy prices and pushy rude salesmen we were about to give up. Atlantic Roofing & Siding is a company that is honest and goes the extra mile to perform with a standard of excellence. They arrived early, worked hard, and finished super fast. They also took the time to walk the entire front and back yard, picking up and disposing of any trash or debris that may have fallen off the roof. Atlantic Roofing provided me A1 service. I used another roofer to initially replace my roof and that roofer created new leaks in the house. It took over two months for him to even come back. I finally got fed up and contacted Atlantic Roofing & Siding and they came out the very next day to assess the damage from the original roofing company. They were able to explain to me the problems w/ my existing roof and gave me a fair deal to have it repaired. They provided me w/ a detailed statement of what they were planning to do and also provided me w/ numerous before and after pictures so I could see the difference between what they had done in comparison to the previous roofing company. I would strongly encourage anyone to use them. Great service, always available and extremely professional.

I was getting a full roof replacement. There was a double layer of shingles on the roof at that time. The contract explained everything that was going to be done. Everything on the contract was applied properly. The work force was at the house at the time agreed upon. They did everything as quickly, quietly (as a roof replacement can be) as possible. Everyone was professional and courteous. The old roofing was removed and the new one installed very quickly.
I recommend that if you are looking for contract work to be done on your home, you get an estimate or quote from this company also, before you hire any other local company.

This company did everything they promised and more. Kept up with my hectic schedule and we finally met for quote and install date. John responded to me on Memorial Day during the nasty weather to help prevent further ceiling damage. This was BEFORE any work began. Once the job started at 6am...done by 2pm!!!

I have been working with John and Michelle Davis with Atlantic Roofing & Siding on replacing my roof, and with Claudio Rendon Construction on removing all existing old brown trim from windows, doors, soffits, fascia, frieze, top of chimney and replacing all with new white trim. Then having Chief's Gutter Service remove all the old brown gutters and downspouts and install with new white seamless Leaf Sentry gutters and oversized downspouts. I found that the roofing workers were excellent workers and communicated very well with me on my requests during the install. The cleanup was done with the roof in one day. The workers that did the trim and wrap for my house were very detailed oriented and took great pride in their work as well. This took 2 days as on the first day halfway in we had a terrible thunder & lightning storm and I insisted they go home due to the weather, safety comes first! The gutter installers took several days to start the install due to all the rain we had, which I expected.
All in all I had a great experience with Atlantic Roofing & Siding, John and Michelle were more than happy to work with me on everything I requested and the outcome ~ I feel like I am in a new house on the outside. I have had neighbors comment on how great a job they did. I want to thank all the hard workers, John and Michelle for all the hours they have put into my home. It is truly appreciated, to be able to find a company that actually cares about what they do and want the homeowner to be happy with their work. I am so glad I selected this company out of all the others that gave me quotes and get Rendon Construction and Chief's Gutter Service to finish the jobs.

John was very responsive and stayed with original quote despite some over looked charges. The work was done on time and in 1 day. The crew cleaned up everything and did a fantastic job on our roof.

The best roofing company in the 757!!. John had my leaking roof fix in 4 days!!! The price was less then what I thought it would have been. You can not even tell where the repair was it blended in great! It was a small job but John made sure it was right and that I do not mind paying for. We had a few estimates and a lot of time spent listening to sales pitches. When John came he talked straight and to the point. He explained that a lot of what the other guys were suggesting was not really necessary. And the quote was exactly what we were hoping for. We went with him for a roof and new gutters. John was one of the best contractors we have contracted with for services needed on our home in Suffolk, Va. He was always available when called on and did an exceptional job fixing a stubborn leak in our roof. His word is as good as gold (which is hard to find these days). We would recommend his services to anyone needing roofing or other work that he does.

Called today for a small roof leak and I'm not Im one that normally leaves reviews but I must brag on John for his outstanding customer service! Less than an hour after I discovered the problem, he was wrapping up the repair and on his way! Don't waste your time with other contractors.

Atlantic Roofing is a top quality and very professional company We first called them for a roof leak. They promptly came out and evaluated and repaired to prevent any further water damage. We decided a few weeks later to replace the entire roof. They showed up promptly at 7:30 am, draped and proceeded to remove 2 layers of shingles. Once they did that they removed any damaged wood and replaced it with new wood before installing the ice and water shield, and new shingles. The workers were very polite and respectful and worked till the job was done at about 7pm. They cleaned up and except for a new roof; you'd never know they were there..John Davis was a pleasure to work with. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give them an 11.

John Davis of Atlantic Roofing did a fantastic job on my metal roof replacement. I had a hard time finding roofers that wanted to tackle the replacement of a 66 square foot section of flat metal roof that was rusted and deteriorated. John showed up the same day I called him and gave me what I thought was a very fair estimate. He came up with great ideas on how to increase the roof pitch to avoid the water intrusion problems I had before. He also took the extra time to ensure the new roof was done correctly and explained his thought process to me the whole way. Many contractors might have just rushed the roof install to get on to another job, but not John Davis. This job took him longer than he expected, but he didnt ask for a dime more than his intial estimate. He also did the job personally, which I was very impressed with. Overall an excellent experience.

Truly professional and take pride in their work. Storm damaged my roof, left 2 holes. John came out same day I called, assessed the issues. Came back with more equipment/men and put temporary repair so it would stand up to more rain. This was on Friday, came back on Monday and permanently repaired the roof. The original roof on my house needed to be replaced and Atlantic Roofing & Siding did a superb job on removing the old roofing materials and installing the new shingles. The crew was courteous and made very little mess during the process and policed the area for any debris after the job was completed. The work was completed in a very timely manner. My house looks great with the new architectural shingles. Several storms have come through the area already and there have been no leaks or missing shingles. I highly recommend Atlantic Roofing & Siding to anyone looking to replace their existing roof or are building a new home/addition.
