Overall great experience with ARS on the re-roof of my 17-year old previous roof. Two key reasons: Brad King and crew lead Tereso. Brad very helpful on front end of project making sure the level of detail I sought (& I am unashamedly a detail oriented guy) was both in the contract and most importantly on the roof. Things like re-decking to cover up 7 plumbing vent penetrations that were no longer needed due to re-routing of venting underneath the roof, completely replacing 4" and 5" B-vent flashing, adding a high flow dryer vent, dealing with my flippable 5" K-gutters by making custom T-flashing that projected the shingles slightly more over the gutters, replacing OSB decking that was soft, damaged, or had holes from previous vent penetrations. Brad showed up first morning of job to go over scope with the crew lead, Tereso, who was awesome. With only four men, it took 3 full days to do the job. This was not a bug, but a feature. They didn't rush. They fixed things that needed to be fixed (decking in particular). One piece of decking Tereso replaced because it "didn't feel right" (too soft), another because it left a gap at the edge. Tereso even used dimensional lumber to reinforce under the deck to provide better support for deck. They hand nailed everything. Tereso was always very diligent about getting details correct. Superpower was his ability (as well as other crew members) to use a metal brake and fabricate very precisely any drip edging (both Z and T type flashing) as well as diverters and step flashing that was needed. This of course took time, but the results were excellent as the photos can attest. Highly recommend ARS for the level of detail that they provided.

Atlanta Roofing Specialists originally roofed this house 25+ years ago. They were recommended by our insurance company (after a major hail storm) as being the least problematic roofer they'd ever dealt with. Needless to say we have used them over the years on our home and commercial properties without any issues, ever. There were no issues with this roof, they were no leaks, it was just time to replace it before problems started as the shingles on the south-facing side of the house were starting to breakdown and look a bit worn. Always a first class job, always a reasonable price, always done in the time frame they say they will complete the work.

Atlanta Roofing Specialist (ARS) were professional from start finish. Our initial quote included a 45-minute physical inspection of our roof to determine the condition and to look for any weather damage which might enable an insurance claim. ARS left roof tile samples and provided more samples upon our request. We were provided a thorough contract specifying all of their responsibilities, the warranty, and what would happen if bad weather delayed the job or unforeseen damages were uncovered. After the timely completion of the job, the completely cleaned the work area and conducted a final inspection to ensure the work was completed to my satisfaction. They did a great job!

They provided a good price and (again) did I a great job!! One thing they pride themselves in, other than having great installers, is after work clean up. They left my place spotless after the job was completed. I was very impressed!! (During the installation I was worried this couldn’t happen: there was “stuff” EVERYWHERE!!) This company gave me some great advice and was very honest. We decided to not replace our roof at this time but when we do this company will be the top on our list.

Atlanta Roofing Specialists removed a satellite dish from our roof and extended a vent pipe that was leaking into our attic. They were easy to work with and we’ve had no more leaks.

I had ARS install new roof shingles, with new gutters in Norcross. Rictor is a competent salesman, and the front office (Haley) was great, always knowledgeable about my job. The roof looks great 100% satisfied. I found a roofer at twice the price of ARS (gouge), and also found a roofer at 2/3 the price of ARS (explained nothing like Rictor did). Like I experienced, I bet you get the best value out of Atlanta Roofing Specialists.

Atlanta Roofing Specialist (ARS) offered a very fair and competitive price for a complete replacement of a straight mansard roof. The cost for replacement was paid out of pocket so after receiving several estimates, it was important to work with a reputable company that would back their work with a written guarantee. After the paperwork was signed, they were able to get started within a week.The team of 5 headed by Jose arrived on time both days doing an incredible job. They actively worked well together, was extremely organized, diligent while on the clock, and made for a professional first impression. They even whistled along and sang a bit while they worked. Small things like that was noticed. I stood outside the entire time until the old roof came off which took awhile then once I stepped inside, I opened up the blinds in the home to see the materials used that were delivered and dropped off in the driveway. I could also see what materials went back on to their work trucks and hitches. It's important to be present with projects of this scope when paying out of pocket. The cleanup was impeccable with not one nail, screw or roofing fragments left behind on the property! Since it was a flat roof, the hammering did cause a few nails in the ceiling's sheet rock to slightly protrude in a few rooms upstairs. Once the old roof was torn off, it increased their price by $2.6K for materials. The drip edge in black was the wrong one delivered for a TPO roof and the correct style had to be painted from white to black to match the shingles. I was told that drip edges for TPOs are not manufactured in black which I find hard to believe given companies that handle special orders. The roof did leak and brought quite a bit of water in the house the following month due to the hurricane. Sonny with ARS came out quickly in 2 days to inspect and identified the problem as the chimney needing a new cap but was unable to get a written estimate to me with pictures of the cap until a week later. So I went with another company who got that measured and ordered right away. Needed this done before the next rain and wished it had been identified sooner so that Jose and his team could have tackled that all in one shot the prior month. Taking off 1 star for the above reasons. It has now been 6 months with subsequent heavy rains and no leaks! I would recommend this company and plan to update this review should that change or if I experience any issues with their written warranty.

ARS did a great job on my roof and parapet wall caps. The crew was excellent and I could tell that they had worked together for some time. Mark was excellent to work with. I highly recommend this outfit if you're looking for a new roof.

We had our entire roof replaced several weeks ago by ARS and cannot say enough good things. We would definitely use them again. They were on time (even started a week early), the men worked from 8 AM until it was too dark to work; cleaned up every day and the dumpster was picked up the day after they finished.

After the work was done, two different supervisors came the next business day to inspect the work and ensure it was done correctly/to our satisfaction.

Their pricing was reasonable and we felt it was money well spent for the quality work peformed by ARS.

A side note. We had obtained quotes in 2024 from ARS and another well known company in the Atlanta area. When we decided to proceed this year, ARS' resubmitted their quote with a modest increase. Very reasonable and understandable. The other company resubmitted their quote with an approx. 38% INCREASE from the 2024 quote. Comparing the quotes, both were exactly the same (materials, what was be done/how. brand/color of shingles and warranty). All that was different was the overall price.

Roofs are not inexpensive and you want an excellent product at a reasonable price. That is exactly what we got with ARS.

I was very pleased with Atlanta Roofing Specialists from start to finish. From my initial meeting with Jimmy to assess my old roof to phone calls with folks in the office to the workers who did the actual installation of my new roof, everyone was helpful, kind, and responsive. Great experience from start to finish. From the quote to the last part of the installation I was kept in the loop of when roofers would show and any other information I needed. the new roof looks great.

We had their construction guys do a major rework/fix of all the exterior wood trim and such before painting. They replaced rotted boards and doors and window sills and banisters and such. They were very concerned about keeping us happy by not damaging the landscaping etc. They delivered top quality work, everything looks brand new. They were not the cheapest bidder, but we wanted a quality job and they delivered. In the end we were very happy, and we would choose them again next time.

I called ARS a little while after Hurricane Helene because I found a couple of roof shingles in my yard. I was uncertain if they came from my roof or another.
Rictor came out to provide an inspection of the roof. Although I did not have any missing shingles, he found there was a small section of shingles that had shifted and could possible cause a future problem. He provided pictures from his trip on the roof.
Within 2 days I received the proposal; it was a fair price and I was put on their schedule.
They them came to repair the section - I did not have to be home. They sent pictures of the finished product afterwards, with an invoice.
There was no pressure, whatsoever, and it was a pleasure to deal with them!

We had a new roof and gutters put on our home last month and they look awesome. The person who came to do the quote was very professional and showed up on time. Unlike some of the other companies. They did the work quickly and without any inconvenience to us. Then to top it all off, the owner called to let us know that we had a refund of several thousand dollars coming. Which was u expected. Atlanta Roofing Specialists was referred to me by a friend after she had employed several roofing companies who failed to repair her leaking roof. A seasoned professional came out to assess my situation and gave me a reasonable estimate before he left. The issue was faulty skylight flashing. Customer service/communication was excellent. My repair crew, Juan and Oscar, were extremely courteous, professional and knowledgable. Once they removed the skylight, they discovered some rotten wood which had to be replaced, but worked diligently for over eight hours and managed to get the job done
beautifully in one day. Clean up of the work area was exceptional as well.

From start to finish it was an exceptional experience. The price was competitive... the crew was very neat & tidy... everything they did exceeded expectations. I had one issue... one of the diverters they installed didn't quite get the flow of water to the gutter (needed to wait for rain)... they came back immediately and remedied the issue.

This was easily one of the best experiences I have with any company doing work on my house. They workmen were always on time, worked until late in the evening and the workmanship is impeccable. I've gotten so many compliments on my roof.

I’ve had 3 different houses with roofing needs — two leaks that they took care of quickly, and one from selling our home for items the buyers inspector found that needed to be fixed.
