AST replaced our roof early this year, and wow, Andrew and his team were just great. Other roofers were pushing nonsensical price inflating extras, but not AST. They actually came in slightly below estimate! The work crew was wonderful, and were remarkably thorough in cleaning up not only my yard, but my neighbors' as well. Andrew was even better, and he came by to check in on the project repeatedly during the day. Honestly, there should be no question about it-- if you're considering a roof project, go with AST.

Andrew and AST were highly recommend by a couple of our neighbors, and we couldn't be happier. Andrew was honest, communicative, punctual, and efficient. He and his crew were able to complete the roof replacement on our home in one day at a very fair price, and that included a thorough job of cleaning up after the work was completed - particularly important if you live in a townhome and want to remain friendly with your neighbors. We selected AST Roofing to replace our existing slate roof that had many problems (the roof was 5000+ square feet) with a new synthetic slate roof and could not be happier. The team did a wonderful job removing the old slate, addressing a number of issues, and installing the new synthetic slate. The work was timely with minimal disruption to our yard and home. The result looks great AND was a great value (i.e., a much lower cost than other estimates that we received). I highly recommend AST Roofing if you need to fix issues with, or replace, your roof.

AST Roofing, Solar, & Consulting LLC came to our house promptly when we experienced a leak in the roof. AST Roofing replaced our old roof and did an excellent job. The owner Andrew promptly responded to my initial query and came by the house the same day. He gave us a quote that was lower than others and completed the job for the quoted amount. He suggested a shingle color that we went with. He was very professional and pleasant. They did the whole job in one day the including removal of the old roof, replacing plywood where needed, laying water and ice barrier and flashing, and installing new architectural shingles, and cleaning up thoroughly. Andrew even texted us photos of the roof as the work progressed. I highly recommend AST Roofing.

Rarely recommend companies, but after receiving the excellent service from AST, I had to leave a review! I recommend AST because of their responsiveness, expedience, quality of materials, and fair dealings. I called them the day I noticed I had 3 missing shingles on my 4 story townhouse. Although they had other customers in the pipeline, they added me and made it that day. They were thorough and efficient performing the service. Also, they charged a fair price and did not use any leverage because I was in need. How do I know? I had the same service 4 years ago and they only charged me $50 more than the previous company. And…they used better materials…architectural shingles that withstand higher winds…and provided a 1 yr warranty. If you’re looking for a company you can trust and want to be treated fairly with great service, AST is the company to choose!!!

I find pieces of miss shingles on my roof, AST Roofing & Consulting LLC is first I called. Andrew ( Owner ) immediately response to my call, he came out next day inspect my roof without me to be home. After inspection he discover much more storm damaged shingles. I so grateful Andrew help me dealing with insurance. He got my new roof, skylight, attic venting and gutter installed quickly. I’ll start off by saying we have had a lot of work done at our older home over the years, mostly well done, however AST Roofing (owner Andrew Tehrani) was one of the most all around professional and expertly done. We found Andrew’s company on Google to initially assess a leak in the sunroom roof - which they then repaired. In repairing the sunroom roof, Andrew alerted us to the fact the house roof was damaged (with pictures). This was an “oh no” alert - as replacing a roof seemed overwhelming. Andrew was beyond helpful with his experience and help in walking us through the claim process with our insurance company, discussing the materials needed, to the crew doing the roof replacement, and the excellent final product. It was all flawless, and not stressful, which you can’t often say in major house projects. We always knew the status of scheduling times for inspection, materials to arrive, and the day and time for the actual job - on time in every case. This may seem like a small thing unless you can relate to the opposite of some projects, but I was amazed at how in sync the crew was and when the guys on the ground weren’t needing to assist those on the roof they were clearing the debris all around the house kind of as the work was happening. When the project was completed and the team left it was like not a piece of anything was found indicating an entire roof was replaced. You would be comfortable that what the issues are, are in fact there - as Andrew takes pictures of the issue, during, and when complete. I’ll end by saying that the number one reason that I think AST is successful is that Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, customer oriented, takes care of his crew, and it is obvious he loves what he does.

The work was done in a professional manner. It was completed on time and the owner was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this company.

Andrew and his team were highly and quickly responsive and provided a clear and quick estimate of our roof issue and their proposed solution. He kept us updated throughout the process, and on the day of the job they were early and worked diligently to repair the roof. We were very pleased with the experience and very satisfied with the result.

When our roof starting leaking through a recessed light fixture, I called Andrew in a panic. He reassured me that this was not uncommon and came out the next day to tighten up some of the areas that might have been the source of the leak (which was making its way in through the electrical work). When it became clear in the next storm that the problem wasn’t fixed, they came out free of charge and fixed it again, and we haven’t had any leakage in the last several big storms!

Excellent experience with AST Roofing today. I noticed a leak in my roof on Sunday and called them promptly on Monday morning (first interaction with the company). They were very friendly and straightforward, came out the same day and fixed the issue. Very professional, responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

I rarely review, but this company truly deserves it. They were not only timely and fit in my last minute request, but they were honest and so helpful! I asked them if they could clean the gutters as well as my roof repair and they said yes and quoted me a great price. When it came time for the gutter cleaning they were honest and told me it wasn’t needed. I love honesty and this was so incredible so have in a company. Will definitely be working with them in the future.

The company responded quickly to my phone call and came out the very next day to repair gutter damage from a storm. They were quick to respond, professional, kind, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and even went the extra step to check the rest of the house for damage. Our roof was leaking and we thought we might need a new one. We called the top rated roofer in the area, and they said they could come out to inspect in three days, but repairs/replacement would be 4 to 5 weeks. We called Andrew, and not only did he come out to inspect the same day, but also he repaired the roof at that time. Instead of an expensive replacement, Andrew's repairs cost us just a few hundred bucks. Would definitely recommend him without hesitation!

The owner Andrew was very helpful during every step of the process of having my Roof replaced. I had multiple Roofing Companies out to give estimates and not only was this the most affordable, but Andrew spent plenty of time explaining the process and answering questions. They are also very responsive and answered all text messages within minutes. During the one day roof replacement he sent me updates and pictures along the way to keep me informed.

I have had the pleasure to hire Mr. Tehrani for contracting work on my house, remotely from out of state. My house needed a roof replacement, in addition to interior painting, drywall repair, power washing, and debris removal.

Mr. Tehrani handled the roof replacement directly with my insurance company. By attending inspections and communicating with them directly, he was able to receive approval for a complete roof replacement. This was a feat in and of itself, as the insurance company denied it previously, and then subsequently only offered a partial repair. Mr. Tehrani handled it seamlessly, leaving me feeling very confident from afar.

Furthermore, as my home is older and was previously rented, it needed additional repairs. Mr. Tehrani would videoconference me to show me the house, repairs he recommended, and even to show options for colors. He sent several photos during and after the repairs, keeping me up to date when I was unable to see firsthand.

In the end, all of our work was completed with professionalism, integrity, efficiency, and the utmost care. Mr. Tehrani was always available via text, phone, or video conference.
