Title: Terrible Experience with Disrespectful and Inconsiderate Service

Review:
I am deeply disappointed by the treatment we have received from this company during their project near my home on Folly Beach. The level of rudeness and disrespect towards women that we have encountered is completely unacceptable.

Not only have they blocked our passage to our driveway, but they have also repeatedly occupied our parking spaces, which we pay for. On numerous occasions, my girlfriend, after a long day at work, has been unable to park in our designated spaces due to their obstruction. Instead of assisting her, the individual responsible for blocking the parking space simply watched as she struggled to park.

Despite our efforts to address this issue with the city, the company continues to act with complete disregard for the inconvenience they are causing. It is distressing to know that they are allowed to do as they please without consequence. It's not just us who have suffered; even the manager (who is female) of one of the nearby restaurants has faced similar experiences. When she approached the foreman about the issue, she was met with dismissal and waved off.

This problematic behavior has persisted since the company began working on the new Coconut Joes and Revelry Brewing tap room. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and respect from a company entrusted with a project in our community.

I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before engaging with this company. Their utter disregard for basic courtesy and their dismissive attitude towards women is simply unacceptable.

Arnett Construction helped my HOA with a rather large townhome stucco recladding project in downtown Charleston. Arnett was able to overcome many challenges including pandemic supply chain problems coupled with performing the extensive construction while the residents remained in their homes. I tasked the project manager Eddie Brunson with itemizing each townhome's individual expenses so we could track for our assessments. Eddie did a great job managing the detailed itemization and he was always responsive when there was an issue or a question. Eddie always made time to meet with me at the jobsite to discuss project updates and he always responded to text/phone/email. Eddie managed all the subs and kept me well informed of everything going on until completion. Arnett did a great job and the place looks amazing!! I would highly recommend their work!

I just completed my second major commercial project with Arnett. Both projects were led by Jacob. I can’t speak highly enough about Jacob and the rest of the Arnett team. I can honestly say that once these projects started, they worked everyday until completion. I can’t say that about any other company I e worked with in the past. There were never any excuses and Jacob was more particular about the finishing than I was…and that’s saying a lot!! I’d highly recommend them for any job…big or small. I’m happy to share my experience with anyone that’s looking for a reference.

Arnett Construction, and specifically Ed Stent and Patrick Monahan, were excellent to employ to a time of massive challenges in the middle of the pandemic. They were creative and offered great value as options. Furthermore, having the name partner offer design solutions was a differentiator.

I had the good fortune of hiring Arnett Construction for a ground up new home build on IOP. Travis has all the qualities you need in a builder - vision, an ability to listen and elicit your wishes as a client, and outside-the-box thinking allowing him to problem solve on the fly. The entire crew was professional and immensely helpful throughout the process. The end result is a stunning, unique and thoughtful beachhouse masterpiece.

Arnett Construction took great care to redevelop a multiuse historical residential plus commercial property for us in downtown Charleston. The final product is stunning. But more importantly the care by which the team took to overcome obstacles and continually keep us informed was comforting and handled at the highest level.
