Our experience with Armor Roofing and Ricky Comer was great. His team installed the new roof in August 2024. Since then, we have had absolutely no problems with the installation.

Ricky is great to work with he gives you a honest price , and stands by his promise. Ricky's estimate was fare and lower than the tv roofers , he also upgraded my gutters they did a great job. The roofing crew did a great job and was timely, one spot wasn't up to Rickey's standards he had the crew repair and replace the shingles I never noticed I will recommend Amor to any one.

My roof was in bad shape! Multiple leaks in two areas, causing water spots on interior ceilings… I won the award for the roof with the most rotten & cracked boards! (1932 home ) Ricky had an opening in their schedule and knocked it out in a day ! They did a great cleanup after, plus the estimate was accurate and honest. Tip: We covered the items we store in the attic with simple plastic to keep them clean, the new style of a wider ridge-vent is a big improvement, it just creates some sawdust. Two days after the install, we had a bunch of rain, Rick checked in to make sure we were ok,

I closed on my home in January knowing it needed a roof plus gutters, and after looking at various companies and getting quotes, decided on Armor. Crew did a nice job despite really miserable weather. Cleanup was well done. No issues despite some reasonably rough weather after installation. Owner stands by the product and work and you get his cell number in case there's any issues.

I contacted Chipper at Armor in reference to having leaf guard installed on the gutters at our home. Within three days Chipper and the Leaf Blaster Pro contractor were at my house surveying the job and I had a quote for the work the next day. Chipper ensured I knew when the contractor would be here to install the leaf blaster pro and made sure everything was done correctly. I would highly recommend Armor Roofing for all your roofing needs. When it’s time to get a new roof they will be the only company I call.

Rickey was lovely to deal with! Most companies wouldn’t take the job because it was too small of a project but Armor Roofing did! Rickey was very communicative throughout the whole process and his son and Jay did an amazing job ripping off the old metal roof and installing the new one. They were also very respectful of the property while they worked on the roof, I would highly recommend these guys!

Just had my roof replaced by Armor roofing. They did an excellent job and pricing was good. The roof looks amazing and the upgraded vent pipe boots offered are well worth the little bit extra. The boots are where your roof will fail first so I was glad they had a premium product. Also, they are one of only a few companies that I could find in the area that are able to offer Atlas roofing systems with a full warranty. This is one of the reasons I selected them. Do your research! Atlas has some of the best shingles and products on the market. I only had one very minor issue I noticed with the installation, but the owner quickly addressed it and made it right. Don’t hesitate to go with Armor roofing!

Armor Roofing successfully completed a full roof replacement for my Single Family house out in Gloucester, VA. I was very happy with the end results of the roof replacement which also included swift inspections from the owners to ensure that I was being taken care of.

Chipper was specifically great at ensuring I was updated accordingly on any changes that occurred during the order period. He went over the quote with me via a teams meeting which was very convenient.

The weather didn't play nicely with us so we required constant delays which was worked perfectly by Armor to ensure the job got completed in a swift manner.

The attention to detail was very much appreciated from a person that doesn't know anything about roofs... They responded quick to the initial consultation request and showed up as promised a week after the initial request was completed. I originally had contacted them to fix a leaking skylight but after hearing what they had suggested, I decided to proceed with a full roof replacement at my own decision.

The price was very competitive and they answered any questions that I had. They made proper recommendations for products and also spent the time to meet with me on multiple occasions to ensure that I was happy with the selected product prior to installation. The full install took one day from start to finish, the workers were very pleasant and overall seemed to do a great job.

Professional service and outstanding quality craftsmanship! I was in need of new gutters, but I also wanted some gutter guards to prevent future issues. We had received a couple of quotes for our roof. We had ceiling damage in a few places. Ricky is a down to earth guy who cares about his customers. He didn't try to upsell us on the so called latest and greatest. He quoted a quality product at a competitive price. Even though he offers financing, he waited for us to get our own financing lined up. The job was completed on time. The new roof looks beautiful. Great job!Mr. Comer did an excellent job going over the whole process of an roof replacement. I had 3 other estimates, but picked Armor roofing because Mr. Comer knowledge ,expertise and you could just tell he cared about his work. From the moment I walked in the door of their office I received friendly professional service. Donna was awesome. Chipper came to my home and gave me a detailed explanation of what I needed and didn't try to sell me more than what I needed. I canceled with the other companies that I scheduled to give me estimates. I went with Armor because Chipper kept in contact with me as to when he would be there.
