We had damage from a tornado that didn't seem like much at first, but turned out to be much more than I realized. From the initial phone call through the finished project, every person I spoke to at Ark made me feel like mine was the most important job they had.
This was the first time I've ever had to make an insurance claim and was quite overwhelmed by the whole process. Jimmy, my project manager pretty much held my hand and kept me calm all the way.

Chris Tinsley is what I call a loyal business owner. Every one wants to make the most money is the mitigation business (I know a few different owners to mitigation businesses), but Chris doesn’t try to retire off one job like the rest do. Relationships with adjusters and insurance companies is what it’s about and Chris has those, no strings attached. Insurance companies like the guy that they can count on to do paperwork correctly, pictures etc and Chris is that guy. Loyal, honest, Christian fella who I would give my business to every time if I could use his services.

I definitely recommend Chris Tinsley at Ark Restoration. He was very prompt in replying to messages and was able to answer all of the questions about the best way to make repairs to my home. They came out the same day I called, and provided a detailed report of options with quotes the same day. I was very pleased with everything he did!

DESTROYED MY HOME, deemed a total loss by homeowners insurance! when I say, he destroyed my home, it will be torn down, and he also took everything we’ve owned for the last 54 years. I mean we can take nothing from my house. You have to wear a hazmat suit and respirator. Just to go to receive the car keys. But does have to be clean before I can use my other cars.!! Run, and I do mean run. We hired this company to do a 4 x 8 pantry that has a mold issue from a hot water heater. But due to his companies negligence they cut into drywall from 1952 and spread asbestos throughout my home, billed for work not completed, overcharged for a pack out and a pack in. For example billed for 30 wardrobe box’s when my wife and I have about 250 pieces of together. 30 wardrobe box’s hold between 1200 k 1500 pieces of clothing.

Scott and Derek did and awesome job on my carpet, their communication skills are also GREAT!!! They called a day head to confirm the appointment and also called and text 30 minutes before arrival… these guys are great and I would recommend them to anyone

ARK Restoration did a wonderful job rehabilitating an old church building that the city has taken ownership of that had water damage. They also painted and laid new flooring in an old train depot building for us. Both buildings are centerpieces in our town and also available to rent to the public, so having them not only structurally sound, but attractive was very important to us.

Dealing with Ark was an absolute mess. We hired them for a small asbestos job, and I should have gone with my gut and cancelled when they strung me along throughout the scheduling process. They came late, left early, made a mess all over the house and laughed about it - all while half their crew stood in the yard spitting all afternoon. On top of their unprofessionalism, they cut a water line, which wasn’t discussed, and they had no intention of fixing it or getting our water back on until my contractor called their supervisor to straighten things out. What cut corners and saved them 5 minutes cost us days of work on our job and left my elderly grandparents without water over multiple nights unnecessarily. Their work was subpar, their communication severely lacking, and maybe most disappointing was their total lack of professionalism. Would not recommend unless you want your time and money wasted.

They're very professional. They worked with my schedule to do repairs, which I'm sure wasn't easy. They will go out of their way to make sure the job is complete and the customer is satisfied.

I CANNOT say enough good things about Chris and his team, they repaired our home from lightning damage we sustained from a storm in October by replacing sheetrock that had to be removed from a full home rewire and repainted all of our home. They all worked really hard to make our home return back to normal. We couldn't be more pleased with their attitudes, professionalism and knowledge they provided for me and our family! A supply line to our water heater blew and flooded several rooms of our house, after the surface water dissipated we thought we could do the "cleanup" ourselves. We did not know the steps that have to be taken when you have any amount of water damage in your home. A friend suggested we speak with ARK. I spoke with Chris at 3pm and he had a crew at our home by 6pm. They explained everything they did, they even taught me how they use their water measuring instruments. We had more damage than we realized after measuring the amount of water sitting in our floor and walls. They started cleanup immediately. They have truly been such a blessing to us. We have not had to stress about one thing, they have literally taken care of every step of the process for us. They are both restoration and construction, they can take it out and put it back in. We couldn't have asked for better!
