We called Jason out to be the roofing contractor on a building project in Marion Ohio. He has been reliable and his quality of work is exceptional. You can tell he really cares about his work. He has thorough knowledge and expertise about his job. Communication has been quick and straightforward. I would recommend his company for any of your roofing needs.

I had multiple, chronic leaks despite 5 previous roofers attempts to resolve the issues. Arete was able to correctly diagnose and repair the problems. Jason went above and beyond my expectations, based on my previous experiences. In addition, he was able to arrange for a solar panel company to rectify the problems with my original company's instillation. This was a really big deal since these companies do not work with each other. My company is in the process of folding and not honoring installation warranties. His crew is efficient and hard working. They finished the job (replacing decking, insulation, ridge vents, installing a solar powered ventilation fan, and replacing the shingles) in one day. Clean up was very thorough. I highly recommend Arete Roofing and Contracting!

Jason, the owner, is very knowledgeable and kept us up to date on the job progress by pictures and explanations step by step of the way. It was wonderful. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, and the end result was absolutely beautiful. We’re very happy with the quality and workmanship and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Arete to anyone.

I can’t say enough about Jason and his crew. They were doing my neighbors roof so I asked if they could make a few repairs on mine. Not only did they fix my repairs the same day, the price was very fair. My wife and I own rental properties and I will be working with Jason in the future.

Jason and his crew are awesome! Jason kept me updated on the progress with pictures and messages.My roof is gorgeous! Wonderful job all the way around from start to finish. Jason Flanery and his crew at Arete Roofing ad Contracting recently roofed my house and I am extremely, extremely pleased! We contacted Jason on Friday afternoon and he was over on Monday morning to give us an estimate. We had a new roof by end of day on Thursday!

When he gave us the estimate he showed us all the materials he would be using and demonstrated how it all worked together. I was already impressed. It took me a long time to select color and he was really invested in making sure I'd be happy with it. I had initially stated that I didn't want a brown roof, yet I picked out one that has brown undertones. Even the day of roofing with the materials sitting in my driveway, Jason told me I could change my mind. But no need, I'm happy with it and it looks great!.

Okay, day of roofing: Jason and crew show up nice and early to get started. They discovered that my bathroom vents were not vented to the outside, so they installed them. Jason took pictures and sent them with captions throughout the process. They had to replace some skylights and did an excellent job of that, ensuring a minimum of mess for their installation. If I had been on the roof myself, I would not have known more!

The crew ran a magnet at least twice to ensure there weren't any nails or staples in my yard, picked everything up, cleaned off my sidewalk, and driveway. By 6 o'clock they were all done and we had a brand new roof and knew that our house was in much much better shape as a result!

They kept us informed the whole time. They were courteous friendly and professional. We have had lots of rain since the new roof form Arete was put on and no leaks. It looks great and the crew did a marvelous job cleaning up when they were done. I would recommend them again and again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This company is wonderful! We discovered a small leak in our Marion office, called Jason and he came out gave an estimate. Jason found several issues and took pictures through the whole process from the estimate, during the repair and the completed work. Jason and his crew did an amazing job. I would highly recommend him and his crew if you're having any issues. We will definitely call him for any future issues.

Jason and his team started this job and didn't stop until it was done. They fixed problems that came about over the years since the last time the roof was replaced. If Jason saw something or I saw something that needed fixing they took care of it right then. When they were done they cleaned up any mess that was left very nicely. Totally satisfied with the work and the price.

Jason and his team worked two days on replacing my entire roof (sheathing and some framing work). They ran into a couple unexpected issues that created a couple change orders. Jason kept excellent communication with me during the entire process of tearing off the entire roof and called me before completing any work for change orders for my approval. I couldn’t be present during the two day job. Jason sent pictures every step of the job. The day after completion, met with Jason and he covered everything that was done. The yard and roof was very clean. I’m impressed at the level of work that was completed. I’m very happy with my new roof.

Jason Flanery and Arete Roofing have redefined my expectations for contractor experiences from now on. Jason was far more diligent and thorough about the initial estimate than others, he was more responsive, and he was price competitive.

After selecting Arete to do the job, which was a warranty replacement, Jason engaged directly with the manufacturer to ensure it was done right, and it turns out his diligence in that aspect caught some errors in the warranty voucher and he was able to get more of my roof materials covered! No one else that quoted us seemed to care, but Jason did. The crew that did the work were professional and highly skilled, and kept an incredibly clean workspace. They accidentally broke a shelf on my pergola during tear off, and they rebuilt it as soon as I told them about it. They even unclogged one of my downspouts for me while up there.
