I liked this company right off the bat, from their informative and user friendly website to their reliable communication. Logan was quick to answer my request to schedule a home & radon inspection for my client's home purchase. Because my clients were out of state, it was important to them to find a partner for us to be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with. Apex is always great to work with! They do a great job explaining to my clients what they are finding in the home inspection and what level of concern it is and provide guidance of who to reach out to for more information if needed. With an electronic report that gets sent out to the clients it is very easy to create reports to send to sellers with an inspection request to show what needs to be done too. He arrived first to do the inspection and had us come later to walk us through the house. We were able to ask him any questions we had and didn't feel rushed. Nick Mullnix was awesome! Very detailed in his reporting he took lots of photos. He was always professional with my family and my agent. When we had discovered the water was turned off at the property Nick was even willing to go back to the property on a separate day to inspect the plumbing. Which really save me hundreds of dollars because issues were found amd I was able to negotiate with seller to fix the issues that were found! Seriously Nick thank you very much for the great service!

Nicks inspection technique is amazing. Very through, but doesnt make a big deal over the small stuff. In other words, he brings it to your attention, but like anything, just always be budgeting for replacement. (think tires and brakes for your car). Its all in the calmness and presentation as His intentions are never to kill a deal. He reminds the buyer there is no perfect home, even new construction.

I recently had Nick come to (now) my house to do an inspection before purchase as required by my lender. A couple of highlights that i'd like to remark are as follows:

- Flexible. I was able to schedule an appointment in the same week that I'd been referred to Nick.
- Efficient. Nick understood that I valued my time and was quick in his efforts to inspect the property only taking a little over 3 hours.
- Friendly. He wasn't awkward and made small talk, told me about his life and family, as well as his past and how he got to where he was now. He kept calling me buddy which I wasn't super fond of but the guys built like a tank so I guess that's to be expected haha.
- Insightful. had answers to all of my questions and gave me opportunities to ask by pausing or by asking "Do are there any questions about this". He was particularly helpful with explaining the reason behind why something had been implemented in a certain way. That's experience that you cannot learn in a few days or by a simple google search
Price. It depends on if you get a radon test and removal. I feel like it was a lot of money for what didn't feel like a lot of work (speaking only about the radon test). However, I don't really have anything to compare to. In total the inspection cost me $475 with the radon test included.

Overall, 5 out of 5 I would recommend him to someone else.
