Mark Thompson replaced a set up basement stairs in my old farmhouse that had reached the point of being dangerous. My initial impression was very positive in that he responded very promptly to my request for an estimate. He thoroughly discussed the project options with me and he listened and incorporated my thoughts into the build. While stairs are not a big project, everything in an older house has its challenges. Mark did exceptional work in the planning, fitting and construction of the new flight of stairs. Upon completion of the stairs, we discussed other projects at my home. I plan to use his services again, soon.

I engaged Mark to give our townhouse in Cedar Falls a facelift. It included some repair and/or replacement of soffits and siding on both the house and garage. He painted the exteriors, and performed a variety of repairs along with touch up painting on the interior. As a resident in Texas, it was a pleasure to work with him long distance. I found Mark to be very responsive to my requests and dependable in getting the job done!

It was great working with Mark--he was responsive and communicated well throughout the project. He removed and replaced old garage doors for us and from the removal of the old to the trimming out of the new every step went smoothly and looked great. If you need a remodel like we did for our deck, Thompson's Remodel is the place to call. Mark did a wonderful job on our deck. We went from a wooden deck to a much larger 14 x 20 composite deck. It is so beautiful!! Check out his work on his website and don't hesitate to call him. You will never regret the call. He puts so much hard work and time into a job to make it look just like he would want at his house. We could not be happier!! (The last photo is the old wooden deck that he took out.)

We had several things to be repaired in a VRBO house that we had rented. He came on time and kept in constant contact with us so we would know when to expect him to get here. And he was very quick at repairing the things that needed to be repaired or hooked up. He did excellent work, and I would suggest him for any work you need done.

I was in a pinch to get my basement set up for out of town guests. Mark saved the day! He hung several heavy pieces of Decor, assembled a bed frame, installed some screens, even helped me get a broken bulb out of my lamp. He is very professional, has a great work ethic and has fair prices. Would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to friends and family.

Thompson Remodeling installed 4 foot high fencing around play yard and around above ground pool . Fenced off pool area to keep kids safe . Installed three kid safety gates with locks. I am so happy with the new play area for the kids .
