I can't say enough good things about Ameritex Roofing. We used them for years at our townhome community for repairs, and we made a decision to use them (after getting multiple proposals) to replace the roof a couple of years ago. The customer service is outstanding (thank you Laurie) in that they stand behind their work, they're on time, they're creative problems solvers and importantly to us, they're highly ethical. They have been true partners for our townhome community. Highly recommend.

These guys (and gals) did geart work for my wife and I. Very professional with a strong American work ethic. They even found and fixed a few small things for me that I didn't even know about for free. At the end we received a quick breakdown and told to call back later if needed.

AmeriTex Roofing was recommended by our real estate agent just before our home sale, we had previous roof and gutter damage from hail. The whole process was very professionally done with Chance Tabor as our contact person who coordinated everything perfectly. Communication was excellent and timely. The work done was high quality and a quick process. Everything around our home was protected well in the process. We have moved out of the home now, but everything looked great after the work was done.

Chance Tabor is the best in the business, and they do it all. Came out on the same day I needed an inspection for insurance.

Had the roof done in 1 day (actually 1/2 a day). And when they finished, there were 0 signs of construction material left on the property.

Worked with my insurance to the point where my checks were mailed to me without even having to contact them, and payment was easy & done online.

Scheduled gutter repair and installation, as well as fence staining. Everything was done in 1 day!

I can’t say enough about Chance and his team. They replaced our roof including re-decking the entire thing. The work is top-notch and I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get it done. My insurance agent recommended Ameritex, but that turned out to be bad advice. Initially I was happy, but then it rained and there were 2 leaks. Luckily, both leaks were over the patio so no water got in the house. I told them about both leaks, but one was worse, so we focused on that one first. Initially, they said was because they hadn't gotten the skylight covers in, but it still leaked after those were replaced. Then they said it was because the skylight hadn't been caulked properly. Then they said it was something else. Eventually they sent a guy out who said there was a piece of the decking that was not done right and they would have to tear off a whole bunch of shingles and fix it. I was pretty upset that this was not done during the initial install. They knew there was a problem, but they decided to just slap some shingles on it and cover it up. So, they came out and tore a bunch of shingles off and finally fixed the problem.

That took care of one leak, but not the other. So we turned our attention to fixing the other one. After several failed attempts at fixing it, they blamed it on the chimney. So, I hired a chimney guy who came out and said there was nothing wrong with the chimney. Then they said it was the chimney cap. The guy told me the chimney cap would be $800 and I agreed to pay it. Their guy came out and measured and made the cap and installed it. They weren't too happy, and wanted me to have it done somewhere else, but that would just start the finger pointing. So, I insisted that they fix it. After the new one was installed, I had the guy who said that would fix the problem come out (he had been right about how to fix the other leak) and inspected it to make sure it was done to his satisfaction. He said it was great and the leak was surely fixed. Of course, the new chimney cap made no difference and it leaked as bad as ever. Eventually, they did a sealing treatment that did fix the problem. Getting a roof that actually worked with no leaks took 2 years in total. Then they sent me a bill for the chimney cap. Instead of the $800 I was quoted, the bill was for $1400. I hope they enjoy the money. It's the last cent of mine they will ever get.

This is the second time we have used Ameritex, first time around everything was fine. So, when we had a hail storm at our home we just moved to, we used Ameritex. The experience was completely different, after roof was put on, cleanup was very lacking. We pulled vent from landscaping and nails everywhere. We also never had a walkthrough afterwards.

The reason for the bad review is because of the gutters, the day before gutters were to be installed, we were told that the insurance measured wrong and we needed to file a claim and get a hold of our adjuster. Insurance measured 144 ft and Ameritex said it was 174 ft, 21% difference! We believing Ameritex tried for over 2 months to get our insurance to fix this and resolve this. Insurance denied it and told us claim was closed.

After being caught in the middle of this and getting nowhere. We had 2 gutter companies come out and measure, and both measured exactly what insurance measured 144ft. We were left very disappointed and felt Ameritex was dishonest. We finally got our gutters and used the company that we found ourselves.
I will never refer or use them again.

We can't say enough good things about Ameritex roofing! They are the most professional, skilled, and value priced roofing contractor we've had the pleasure of working with. In 1998 we hired them to replace a roof on our 100 year old farmhouse which was a huge and complex project. They completed the work in just a few days and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. We have since used them on 4 other roof installations and some other small projects. Very prompt and responsive service. The owners are also very generous and community minded. When our rural North Collin County community organized an effort to replace a roof on the home of a neighbor in need, Ameritex helped out and donated much of the roofing materials. We would never think of using any other roofing contractor and have recommended them many times to neighbors and friends.

We are coming to the end of an extensive remodel when I learned there was a misalignment of our roofline and gutter causing water to seep under our back door whenever we had extremely heavy rains. With newly installed wood floors I knew I had to get problem corrected. I was advised to contact the company that had replaced our roof in 2011 to find out if a repair could be done.

I thought it would be just a waste of my time and wondered if whoever did our roof was even still in business anymore. My husband was much more optimistic and reminded me "It was AmerTex that did our roof. Remember they came highly recommended by our McKinney realtor."
I sent an email to them since it was after hours but honestly didn't expect to even get a response.

I was so surprised when the office manager Laurie called me that very next morning to follow up on my problem. She got all my information and assured me that Bryan will be contacting me to get the details. She went on to say he will then come out to the house to personally evaluate my problem.

Bryan was at my house the very next morning. He quickly determined what had been causing my issue and had a team over in less than an hour to correctly solve my problem quickly and neatly with no trash left anywhere. The all display great teamwork in the way everything went so smoothly to what I thought would be a giant, frustrating hassle.

Of course you want to find a company that can do a good job putting on your roof, but finding a company that's both trustworthy AND skilled that actually stands behind the finished project and truly strives for a satisfied customer is very remarkable.

I sure don't want to replace a roof ever again (and I mean, Who does?), but if needed again in the future I will not hesitate to call Ameritex. I know they will stand behind their work because I have seen it first hand.

Thanks to hail, I needed a new roof and gutters. Ameritex did a great job and made getting my home repaired simple. From the inspection and estimate through completing the work, everything was top notch and Ameritex took care of the whole process. Bryan, one of the owners, was in contact throughout the process and made sure every question was answered. Ameritex went above and beyond even sealing some spots on my eaves where critters were trying to enter my attic saving me the trouble of having a pest company out. Thanks so much for the help and quality work. I highly recommend Ameritex and will definitely use them again if/when I need any future roofing work.

They were punctual from the time of the quote which was well under what we were quoted by other companies and were here to start when they said they would and were finished when they said with a very" well done" on the roof. Had a high wind loosen up a small area of shingles on my roof. Ameritech sent a man out who repaired the area and also fixed some other places I could not see from the ground. Very efficient and competent and for a reasonable price.

Was referred by a friend of mine that has used them twice. My experience was good. Had a heavy rain after the roof and found no leaks. Cleanup after the install was good too.

Robert is friendly and easy to work with. honest, reasonable cost, came back to address minor touch ups....second time to use them and will use them again.

Ameritex was responsive, quick to complete job and overall very reliable. We have used them in the past and will use them again in the future. Owner is very friendly.

I suffer from a chronic pain condition. When im asleep is the ONLY time im NOT in pain. I was going to get to sleep in until 9:30 AM this morning. Instead! at 7:00 AM this morning, I heard roofing employees putting on a roof 2 doors down.with the staple guns & the loud noise from some machine. I had no choice but to get up. It's RIDICULOUS to be roofing at 7 AM. I can only guess you had other roofs to do, & so you decided to start extra early. I called your company to complain & could not get anyone to answer at any of the choices on your voice greeting so I left. A messag ed on your "general voicemail". I am VERY upset about this & would like a call from someone in authority.

What a fantastic experience with David & Ameritex. Like many in the Dallas area, the roofs on my primary home and on a rent house I have in Richardson were badly damaged in the March 2016 hail storms. I've never had a roof replaced or a homeowner's insurance claim, so I didn't quite know what to expect. I was referred to David Pieczynski at Ameritex through my HOA discussion group on Facebook.

I contacted David and immediately he came out to my home to explain the process of handling the insurance claim and show me samples of roof shingles I could choose, etc. David took his time to look over the house with his crew and then visited my rental property in Richardson to do the same.

The primary thing I want someone to know about Ameritex is that they do what they say they are going to do. Their work is excellent, honest and very transparent. David would tell me "we'll have a crew out in the morning, or XYZ will be delivered on a particular day" and without exception things went exactly as planned. I am very grateful I got connected with Ameritex as I've heard so many bad stories about roof replacement, and mine was a breeze.

We were referred to Ameritex by another contractor (who uses them for roofing) and had Bill come out and do estimates for a couple of different products. The estimates were fair and in line with others. We chose to use Ameritex due to recommendations, straightforward estimates, their existing ratings on several sites and time in business.

They put the roof on as agreed, in a timely manner. They did hit an A/C line, but had it repaired (at their cost) and checked on it after the job completion. Being Texas, it has not rained since the roof went on, so I can't attest to it being 100% yet. Overall, good estimate and process, good install and clean up and the billing was handled promptly and efficiently with appropriate invoices to insurance for recoverable depreciation. As its an asphalt roof with new underlayment, there is no reason it shouldn't be waterproof.

No issues and a very good experience.

I researched several companies in the area and after reading the Angie List's reviews on Ameritex Roofing I sent them an email. I received a phone call within minutes, office staff was friendly, helpful and very prompt. The sales rep that came to the house was on time, courteous and very informative. Ameritex provided me a written estimate, I signed and job was completed in 2 days. This company went above and beyond from the get go. I have to say I was scared as I have heard the horror stories about roofing companies but Ameritex quickly made my fears go away and I have a beautiful new roof to boot. I will most certainly use and refer this company time and time again. Thank you Ameritex!!!!
