I can strongly recommend American Restoration Specialists as roofers and home painters. I recently contracted them to replace my shingle and foam roofs, restore the fascia boards, exterior window sills, and threshold, and paint the exterior of my home, and they did excellent work.

I quoted this project with 3-4 different vendors for the roofing and painting each, and conducted in-depth site walks with each vendor. Ramone from ARS was by far the most thorough, clearly identifying the problem areas, discussing the appropriate method of replacing or upgrading each element, and displaying significant expertise and enthusiasm for his craft. ARS was not the most affordable vendor I got quotes from, but I had the sense that Ramone and his team would do the best work and have the most commitment to quality out of everyone I spoke to. I was right.

The roof work took longer than forecasted, but that was due to having to expand the scope of work based on what they found under the roof once they removed the shingles, and replacing the majority of the fascia boards. The roofing team’s carpentry skills were very impressive, and the finished product of the new shingles, drip caps, and fascia boards are a significant upgrade to the exterior of the home.

The painting project took a week less than initially forecasted, and the painting team also did great work. That team was led by John from ARS, who is very communicative, respectful, and professional. He was great about letting me know what they’d be doing most days, answering my questions, and cleaning up daily. They did excellent work cleaning the exterior of the home, scraping the existing paint off where necessary, replacing or filling and sanding exterior wooden window sills, re-caulking windows, and sealing and patching the stucco. The home looks so crisp, sharp, and fresh now!

Ramone himself was on-site every few days during the project, and made himself available when I asked to conduct a punch walk as each part of the project was nearing completion. He made sure that both his roofing and painting teams took care of the handful of finishing touches he and I identified in our punch walk. I got to know Ramone a little over the course of the project, and he seems like a good, honest, and dedicated man. I was glad to partner with him and his team at American Restoration Specialists on this project, and have already recommended them to several friends and family members.

Professional and dedicated to work that lasts a lifetime. Business with John was quick, easy, and straightforward and I am happy to keep them in my phone book in case I need at any time : )

John and his team are the best I've found in 30 years of being an owner of residential rentals in the Scottsdale area. If you're looking for the job to happen without having to be there with honest, trustworthy and doing what's proper people this is your go to. We have had this team do many jobs for us, all with results like they would be if I did it myself. They will be coming back to do more for us in the future. I put up a couple interior photos of one of our properties which they have done exterior painting, interior painting and roof work. They're Great!

John and the team at American restoration are amazing, Super honest and do such a great job..had them come out and do some repairs on my roof and have not had any issues since.

I highly recommend American Restoration Specialists for roofing and painting. They changed out all the old 4" fascia with 6" and repaired any boards that were damaged. After stripping the old shingles, removing an old outdated whirlybird and two old vents and furnace pipe no longer needed they installed a new ridge vent. When the new roof and all the new fascia was done they came back and painted for 2 days. I'm completely blown away at how great it all looks now. They cleaned up everything and rolled a magnet for loose nails.
They exceeded my expectations.

This company did an amazing job. They were very professional and they had a very reasonable price. They were friendly and truly cared about the job they did. I would definitely recommend them if you need any type of roofing work done.

I cannot possibly say enough great things about this company. ARS painted the exterior of my house a year and a half ago and I loved it so much that I called them again to paint the entire interior. I knew what I wanted, but Ramon was incredibly helpful with his suggestions. The biggest game changer is how detail oriented they are. Every line is perfection. They photographed every picture, piece of furniture, closets, etc. that had to be moved and put it all back perfectly. They showed up on time to the minute every day and asked to work weekends. My house looks clean and fresh and dreamy. The crew was amazingly professional and wonderful to be around. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

I met Ramon and John through my Farmers agency in Cave Creek; however, I hired them to replace my flat roof, repair exterior stucco damage, paint my home AND repair drywall inside. EVERY single service was performed and completed with attention to detail and respect for my yard and home. No trash lying around when they left.
