I called Mitch Keller to give me a quote for Home and Auto bundled together. It took him over a week to get me a quote of any kind, and once he did, it did not include any home insurance. He was out of the office for several days as well, with different excuses for each day. Then after a week of waiting to hear back, he emailed me saying he couldn't give me insurance because of my credit score? My partner and I both have very good credit and I've never heard of anyone checking credit to give insurance. He told me to "stick it out" with my current insurance even though my current policy is about to lapse. The whole experience was rather odd and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

We transferred our policies after many years with another agency, to American Insurance and Angela Hobart last year, and have been nothing but absolutely pleased with her customer service. She is very knowledgeable and always responds to our inquiries in a timely manner. We are very happy and would highly recommend her for all your home and auto insurance needs.

I have had American Insurance for 3 years and my agent has been Jeremy Van Houten. We are relocating across the country and American Insurance is not available there. As such, I just wanted to let you know about the excellent service we have received from Jeremy over the past 3 years. He responds to all of our questions almost instantaneously and has always provided additional information back to us in a flash. We thank you for the past 3 years and will find another independent insurance agency when we land in our new home due to the great experience with American Insurance.

Tina in particular has been anywhere from curt to downright rude almost everytime I had had to deal with her. At times, it feels as though she has thrown extra hassles into our getting a 2nd vehicle insured after my adult daughter moved back home. I have had it with her and the agency and will go elsewhere for my insurance needs even if it means paying a few more dollars per month. At least I won't have to deal with this rude female.

Our car insurance increased significantly this year. I emailed Tina (Heitmann) and she found new coverage for us that cut our costs nearly in half! Every time we contact her with a question or concern, she is very responsive and never fails to resolve our issue. We really appreciate having Tina as our contact person. Thank you!
