America 1st was the roofing company contracted for our whole neighborhood in Bothell. We recently started to see leaking issues after only 9 years! Turns out we needed to get our roof replaced. A good roof should last 30+ years.

The roofer had no warranty and would not stand behind their work. When we got an inspection it turned out they had improperly nailed and ventilated the roof, which led to rapid degradation and mold.

They would not work with us on an insurance claim and were unresponsive to our insurance adjusters. (No real surprise.) I can’t imagine how this company is still in business. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have experienced significant issues with the quality of work provided. My brand new house developed a leak within two years—typically, roof shingles should last for 40 years, but it appears that the shingles used are of the lowest quality, lasting only five years. Additionally, the workmanship was poor, with multiple installations done improperly. The builder called the company to fix the issue, and the technician assured me it was covered under warranty, failing to mention any charges. The leak was due to incorrect installation, where a nail was improperly placed.

To my shock, five months later, I received a past due bill for over $350. This is particularly upsetting given that the problem was due to the company’s faulty work. I have tried to resolve this issue, but the company has been unresponsive, and some employees have been quite rude.

I urge the company to address this situation promptly. I am looking for a resolution that includes the withdrawal of the unfair charge and a commitment to improved service and communication. I believe in giving companies a chance to correct their mistakes, and I hope this review get to the right person in the company to solve this problem.

I wanted to give zero stars, there is big complaint pending. I will do it. They did not call me while doing the service. They did not press the calling bell. They climbed onto my roof without my permission. They don't know my issue. My issue was not roof, I called them for my ceiling water marks, so the first thing is to check my attic, then the roof. They are just doing a regular roof irrespective of the complaint. I showed them the ceiling of my bedroom and the water marks, the technicians took a photograph, but they are not going into the attic. Nonsense people. They parked their service van on my lawn, parking your lan on customers lawn ? insane. Absolutely mindless staff. Till now they have no answer about the watermarks on my ceiling and they did not go into the attic. Who asked them about the roof ? What was complaint ? it is the water marks on my bedroom ceiling. They have no idea even now. Absolute Nonsense. Never call them or hire them. I will file as many complaints as possible.
