We have had Amazing Skylights install 4 solatubes over the last few years. The product is excellent and it makes a real difference in the lighting of our townhouse. The company is a pleasure to work with and they have been professional and efficient. We highly recommend them.

Rich and his son, Tanner, run a great company and I'm so happy that I used them to install our 3 solatubes. The upstairs of our home used to be so dark that you'd have to put on lights in the rooms no matter how bright and sunny it was outside. Now with the 3 solatubes installed, it's so bright that it's like living in a different house! And the owner, Rich, pointed out that the attic was incredibly hot so they installed a solar attic fan that same day and it's made quite a difference to the temperature upstairs. The team did a very professional job with the installation and even did a great job with the clean-up as well. I'd definitely use them again.

We used Amazing Skylights for a solar fan install at our house in Manassas Park earlier this year. Now that we've had a few hot days, we are thrilled with how much cooler the house is staying. It is a noticeable difference in temperature and the air conditioner is having to run much less. Tanner and his dad were great to work with. We appreciate that they are a local family-owned company, communicated by email to schedule the estimate (our preferred choice), and completed the work in a timely manner. When we encountered a challenging situation with the wiring going to our old broken attic fan, Tanner's dad helped trace the wiring so we could remove it completely.

I would definitely recommend this company, and will use them again if we have any other similar home projects come up.

I highly recommend their service. They came back to retouch the roof where the paint color did not match the initial image we had in mind. The retouch job was so well done and they constantly kept in touch via text and call to reschedule the job as soon as possible free of additional charge.

My gutters were getting pretty rough; ie: not draining well at all, water just pouring over the lip after any rain, and during the last snow got some gnarly icicles. Called up Amazing Skylights and they came out and replaced everything within two weeks for a very affordable rate. I highly recommend!

I had solar tubes, a solar attic fan, and a new roof installed. Rich is involved the entire time and either he, or his son, Tanner, stay onsite until all work is completed. Rich hand picked his roofing crew and they are professional and respectful. Cleanup was perfect. The price was right. I got three competitive quotes and Rich was on the lower end. Amazing Skylights did an amazing job on our roof. They showed up on time and worked super hard. Before the installation they advised us on various options, recommended a better attic fan, etc. The new roof looks so much better and we have peace of mind that we won't have any leaks or other hassles to deal with as our old roof was nearing the end of its useful life and the shingles were getting brittle. Great experience with gutter work and roofing consults. Tanner and Richard are straight professionals, never tried to upsell or give me the runaround, and were fair and realistic in their assessment of the work my home needed now and in the future. They were also patient and accommodating with my busy schedule and always timely with their communications. We ended up with a gutter replacement and their scheduling / timeliness / work quality was great. No issues with the gutters after several rain events. Highly recommend for locals in NOVA needing an honest business, and will consider them again for future home projects.

Highly recommend. They were on time and very responsive in dealing with insurance and our requests. They spent over an hour just on clean up and I've yet to find anything left behind. Years ago Rich installed 7 solartubes. I have the original ones, the lighted ones, the bathroom nightlight vent, the pretty glass ones. Love them all! No issues all these years. We hired Amazing Skylights Inc to install two solatubes and two solar powered attic fans in our home. They were very professional and friendly. The solatubes are fantastic and a great investment for our super dark bathroom and walk-in closet. I would definitely recommend checking out solar tubes to help light up darker bathrooms and other rooms. We are considering putting one in our kitchen as well.

We had our third solar tube installed and love everyone of them. This recent installation was a larger one and worth every penny. The installers were very respectful of our house.

It was amazing working with ASI. I was referred to them by a neighbor and I can see why. They were always quick and responsive to any questions I had throughout the process. They were even extremely patient while I worked through some issues with getting the roof replacement through my HOA review process. On the day of the work they showed up on time, got the work done properly, and did a fantastic job cleaning up. If you're looking for a roofer who will make a roof replacement easy these guys should definitely be on your radar.

I had three Solatubes installed and an attic fan. The third one was a separate installation. The first installations went fine. The last one was installed TERRIBLY, just a mass of tape to cover up a terrible job, light shining out through the tube all over my attic. The owner came out and fixed it. This of course required many phone calls. My biggest complaint is THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS. Never. I just called again over a week ago about needing a replacement attic fan (mine died under warranty). No return call. Each time I wanted to talk to someone, I would need to call repeatedly until I got a live person, because I knew there would be no response to a voicemail.

Recently I had Amazing Skylights install a Solar tube in my great room. They did a wonderful job. Now I do not have to use lights all the time. Great product and great experience! I highly recommend this company.

I am now working on a 2nd house with Amazing Skylights, my first house is a log home where they replaced the existing asphalt roof with metal. Overall it was an excellent experience for what was probably a very difficult job for them. Again work was absolutely top notch. Needless to say, Im coming back to have them replace the roof on another home.

We had wind damage to our 3 story townhouse roof and my wife and I were very pleased with our experience. They came out the same day I called, and were able to repair the roof within the same week. They were on time, professional, and even scheduled the work time around our son’s nap time. We anticipate using them again in the future for our roofing needs.

We had 4 skylites installed in our home, greatly adding to the much needed day light in our dark living room and laundry room. I used to have to keep the light on in the laundry room, but no longer now. The professional staff of Amazing Skylights are all a joy to work with and they took great care in cleaning up after completion. One of my 4 skylites has leaked on occasion, where I had to call them to come and fix it. Their response was immediate! I've been very pleased with their service and it got fixed.

We are very happy with the finished product. We had 2 installed, one in each 2nd floor bathroom. The rooms were so dark you could not see your hand in front of your face. Now the baths are gorgeous! We really love the product, and the built in night lights. Rick and Al were very courteous and professional. I am very appreciative of their attention to detail. Al found some holes, and a leak in my roof, and was able to fix everything while he was here. I highly recommend Amazing Skylights for all your skylight, and roofing need.

We had 5 solar tubes placed in our home. It was completed in one day and make the outside light shine in the house like you are outdoors. The night lights we had placed in the solar tubes give us the ability to see at night without having to turn on lights. They have followed up quickly and responsively with the one problem we had and have been there to make sure it was fixed to our satisfaction. I highly recommend them as a company who cares about you the customer and have spoken to others in my neighborhood who have since ordered the solar tube for their own homes. They have been very professional in every step of the way.

My wife and I are extremely happy with our new metal roof. The quality of the craftsmanship, professional demeanor and efficiency of the army of workers were as good as it gets. Great supervision as well! The gutter guards have now been installed and we're so happy there will be no climbing on the roof to keep the helicopters and leaves out. The whole process was very interesting to watch, as was the hearing the explanations of the entire procedure - but mostly just got out of their way. Work was very professional and service man was very knowledgeable. He worked quickly and cleaned up after the job was completed. Company charges way too much ($225) for a 25 minute job. Can’t even imagine what they would charge to install a sky tube. Expensive but would recommend them if you need the job done fast and well.

They did an excellent job installing my roof when all the big companies were “too busy.” I definitely recommend them.

Amazing Skylights did a fantastic job installing a Solatube with the ventilation fan add-on kit for our upstairs bathroom. The Solatube brings in a lot of natural light and the ventilation fan is impressively quiet and powerful. The installation went smoothy and took about 2 hours. We have plaster ceilings and no attic access, but that was not at all an issue for the installer. Due to the sudden cold weather (wind chills in the teens), the installer needed to reschedule, but he worked around our schedule and even agreed to come on a Sunday morning. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of product and customer service.

Installation of a solar attic vent fan done very quickly. Only time will tell on how effective this will be during the summer months.

I don’t know what I like best...just everything. Amazing Skylights was great to work with, quick to respond at every step of the way but willing to change the entire plan even after they’d paid a house visit to estimate the original idea. I knew who to expect, and he arrived exactly on time, taking the time to look at everything with me before punching the first hole in the roof. In the end, on the cloudy day of installation, I was shocked at how much light one sun tube provided, and I am so glad we made the plunge. I haven’t even seen the nightlight feature yet, but since this is placed in the hall between three bedrooms and the bathroom, I expect that feature to be invaluable. I would never have had the time, money or space to install a traditional skylight in the area, so the sun tube was simply a great alternative that seems to have solved our problems!

I returned from an overseas assignment only to learn of a leak on my house roof. I phoned several companies which did not result in much success. Luckily, I learned of Amazing Skylights. I left a message and received a call back immediately. I chose this company based on the fact that it was a small, family owned business and had very high marks by former clients. On New Years day, the company owner came to inspect my roof and came on time...a rarity when working with various home vendors. The owner was honest, frank and did not try to sell me what I did not need. In fact, he noticed my neighbors roof had a problem where his roof overlapped with mine and if not repaired would cause damage to my attic.

Amazing Sunlight repaired my roof in a timely fashion and also provided me with before and after photos. I highly recommend Amazing Skylights and will call in them again to install a solatube which will help provide additional sunlight not only in one of the rooms in my townhouse but also the closet. We have contracted Amazing Skylights for several jobs over the years, including SolaTube installations, soffit & fascia repair, gutter replacements, and entire roof replacements. Rich and his crew of professionals are extremely efficient and provide outstanding results at very competitive prices. The quality of their work is excellent, and their customer service is unrivaled. I highly recommend Amazing Skylights, Inc.

Our house front faces south & the back is North. We only have 1 window & 2 door windows in the back of the house for natural light in the Great room, kitchen & dining room. We must use electric lights to see anything in these rooms.
Regular skylights won't work with tall attics, however, solartubes were the perfect answer. Morning light is still not what we would like, because the domes are on the west side and probably should have been closer to the peak of the house, but it's still better than before. Afternoon light is much better.
The solartubes are not cheap, but we did qualify for a 30% tax credit, which is only good until 12/31/19 (Congress hasn't extended the renewable energy credits during this administration).
We also put in a garage attic fan & a whole house solar attic fan. This is mainly for the summer heat, so I can't evaluate yet, since it's December. Both are very quiet.

About 10 years ago Amazing Skylights installed 3 Solatubes in my home.
They functioned perfectly until a huge tree branch fell on my roof and severely damaged 2 of the 3 Solatubes and caused additional damage to the roof. The company sent out a representative who identified the problems and gave me an estimate for the needed repairs.
There was some delay in receiving replacement parts for the Solatubes from an out of state manufacturer, but upon receiving the parts, the company called to arrange for the replacement of the damaged parts of the Solatubes, and repairs to the roof. At their recommendation, I opted for a "roof maintenance" plan that included the caulking of all exposed nails and refastening of loose flashings,
The technician (Al) who performed the work was very knowledgeable and professional.
He identified the cause of an ongoing condensation problem with a bathroom ceiling.
I plan to have the company install a venting system in the bathroom to solve the condensation problem.

In all, a very easy company to work with and the skylights are transformative. Once very dark areas become much more useable. The stored-light feature (a charging LED nightlight) works very well and we don't really think about it now. I just count on it for getting up at night and not needing to turn on a light or waking up too soon.

The install was quick and easy. The guys were extremely pleasant to work with. And the skylights look incredible and provide so much light!

I have been raving about the Solatubes since I had them put in. They have been a wonderful addition to the house. But importantly, it was also easy to work with the company to put them in. Al, the installer, has been a huge help. When he first arrived to install the Solatubes, he actually refused because he said my roof was in such bad shape, it would end up leaking. I really appreciated his honesty and that he didn't just try to pop something in there that I wouldn't be happy with. Rich and David recommended a roofing company that also ended up being really good to work with, and then Al came back out and did a great job installing them when the roof was replaced. I would highly recommend the company and the Solatubes.

Amazing Skylights was "amazing." Rich L met with me to do an estimate. He carefully described the process and how his crews work and the choices of shingle. He discussed additional options such as gutter guards, which I accepted. Pricing was competitive with another company and nearly 30% better than a third. The project was estimated to take one day and that's how long it took. Also, Rich warned that despite their attentive cleanup efforts, a roof replacement involves a lot of old nails. More than two weeks since job completion, I have found a total of 3 nails around my home. He seemed to have someone on cleanup details throughout the day. The work crew was polite and an English-speaking supervisor was onsite at all times. Also, the crew carefully covered up landscaping that may have been in range of discarded roofing debris.

Just a day ago, the cap to my heating system exhaust pipe blew off the roof. Amazing Skylights had replaced it during the initial work. I called Rich that morning and he had someone with a new cap - freshly painted to match - installed the SAME DAY. Rich takes pride in offering quality customer service and I was not disappointed.

Total roof cost with gutter guard was $12K. Thank you again, Amazing Skylights.

Amazing Skylights, inc. was incredible to work with. From start to finish, these guys were awesome. I worked primarily with Rich and his son Tanner. We contracted them to replace the roof on our new home, and these guys did a fantastic job.

They are priced really well, they are extremely efficient, and we are extremely pleased with our new roof. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone to do work on your roof.

*1st they lied to us saying that we have 2 pipes on the roof, they made us paid for 2. WE ONLY HAVE ONE.
Either they never put [one] the fist time or the guy that "installed" it the second time just pretended he did something.
*2nd they did not respect the "warranty they offer" they did not want to come and take a look of the leak in my celling that was getting biger, needless to say, the spot is the same one that the "fixed" . They wanted to charge me without even knowing if was or not the same issue.
And foremost the "second non existent pipe that they made us paid" was and additional service, should not the warranty start with it?
*3rd after they "replace" (the NON EXISTING SECOND PIPE) they did not protect around the edges, not new shingles, not glue not even nails. AWFUL.
I can go more, but you get it.

Amazing Skylights is Amazing!!! David and his crew were totally great!!! Not only do they respond to your inquiries, help you with the decision process and offer excellent service, the SolaTube product is one of the best purchases we have made for our house! We had a very dark living area, and the light that now comes in is beyond explanation, we even get rainbows on the floors and walls!! They are beautiful!! I tried two other dealers before contacting David at Amazing Skylights, and I will not call anyone else. I plan to put in two more skylights, hopefully before the end of the summer. Yay!!!
