We had water damage from a storm, they came right out and made repairs under warranty to seal up the loose shingles and flashing.

I manage a real estate portfolio, mostly consisting of large brick single-family homes. Altmann has done 8 roofs for me, including flat, shingled and slate, and the work is always too notch. Very responsive, communicative and work is always done in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!

We used them for our business they were priced well, professional, and completed the project in a timely manor. When calling them with concerns, they come out and to make sure things are ok. Most places over charge and move on once job is completed, these guys care and make sure your roof is perfect. I will never use another company.

After checking with a couple of different contractors about replacing our roof and gutters, Altmann quoted us the best price. When Rusty came to our property to examine the roof ahead of time, he seemed much more knowledgeable than the other roofers I spoke with. He thoroughly explained every step of the process with the roof and the gutters and left me with a high level of comfort in their work.

The roofing crew removed the old roof and cleaned the area thoroughly. There was little to no evidence left behind that a roof had been removed. They ensured that my neighbors' houses were protected. I live in the city and there is not much more than 6-8 ft. between the houses. They installed the roof the next day and ended up staying a little later in the evening to finish the job.

The gutter crew was removed and installed new gutters in a single day. They left a little debris behind, but it was nothing that a broom and dustpan could not handle.

Our new roof and gutters have already been through a couple of heavy rains and high winds with no signs of problems. I highly recommend using Altmann for your next project.

We had a leak develop in our warehouse roof - got quotes from a few companies since replacement of panels and a re-coat was needed, Rusty and Alex were by far the most thorough when it came to the quoting process and gave a fair price. Thoroughness of the quoting process and the good communication was what sold me. Work was very well done, was done on time, and they were both up there working with their team which I liked seeing. Lien waivers were issued to me before I even requested them so I definitely recommend letting them quote you if you’re looking for work that needs to be done on a commercial building.

Altman has an amazing roofing crew they knocked out my roof in three days. The ripped of the old shingles, add support braces for my hip roof, replaced 28 sheets of decking and 20+ squares of shingles.
The soffit an fascia crew did awesome work as well. The corner of my porch isn't perfect but that is because it is a round corner and I wanted aluminum for my soffit and fascia. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work.

Recently had a very bad wind storm. Noticed shingles in our front yard. Called Altmann and Alex came out that evening(on a Friday night) to repair the shingles since a storm was expected late that same night. Extremely responsive, very professional, explained what happen and how he was going to correct/fix. Also walked our roof and noticed some other areas that he thought best to caulk. We had them install our new roof 12 or so years ago. Have been out twice now to help us with storm damage. Extremely satisfied with all the work they've done. Would highly recommend them.

Alex from Altmann Roofing was working on a storm damaged home in my neighborhood. I asked if he could take a look at damage we sustained during the recent wind storm. When Alex finished with my neighbor's home, he came right over, then inspected and repaired our damaged fascia and gutter!

This is the second time I’ve used Altman roofing recently. Once was for a residential roof repair in Overland & another in the city and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Alex was very helpful & knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed & repairEd both issues. The price was very reasonable and actually less than I originally feared!

Great company who takes time to make sure all of your questions are answered. I was so impressed by all their attention to detail and making sure we were completely satisfied. They took the time to explain and help us file our insurance claim, kept us up to date about what was happening when and everyone was super friendly. Something you don't always find today. We would highly recommend Altmann Roofing. You won't be disappointed. One of there guys even came by after the crew left to walk the driveway and yard to double check that they didn't miss any nails. Superior Service!!

Rusty and his son Alex were both great - very attentive, facilitated work with the insurance and when we were all set to get the roof done, they made sure everything was done well and timely. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we spent thousands of dollars with Altman Roofing on a new roof coating at our self storage facility. While Rusty was very responsive numerous times when we called him back to inspect continued leaking, we have since discovered that the product was either applied poorly or was defective.
Rusty has stopped responding to our calls and we are now spending more money on a different roofer to repair his shoddy workmanship. I do not recommend his company.

Altmann did a terrific job on our roof. Very professional and friendly. Even worked with the home buyers to give them exactly what they wanted. Would not hesitate to call them again if I ever need a new roof.

From the very beginning, Altmann's professionalism was evident. Michael arranged everything with the insurance company so essentially all we had to do was confirm some information and sign a few forms. The promptness and Quality of the roofers work was second to none. Start to finish, the entire process took less than 2 weeks and that included the initial assessment. We would have no hesitation in recommending Altmann to anyone. We are gratefull to the whole Altmann team.

SCAM Don't sign any contracts and get other estimates for repairs. Initially they were very responsive and Michael told me he was confident my insurance company would cover the damages and replace my house and garage roof..He had only been wrong 4 times in 11 years... I signed the contract authorizing them to work with my insurance company. They were attentive and were on site for the insurance adjuster inspection. But once the adjuster only approved repairs and partial replacement, they stopped responding to email and phone calls. They promised to temporarily fix the leak when the insurance adjuster visited, they didn't. After a month, I was finally able to get another company to bid the repairs...$300. The other company fixed the leak and repaired the roof within a couple weeks. Seems Altmann Roofing is only interested in your business if they can get a full roof replacement paid by you or your insurance company...and could care less that your roof is leaking throughout the whole process.

I manage a lot of properties in the St. Louis area and use Altmann for all roofing issues. They are super helpful, friendly and get the job done quickly and done right. Any minor issue I’ve had at a job they did had been addressed and corrected immediately. Great company!

Great company! Owned and ran by a man who truly puts the customer first. Found a leak in my roof (caused by a rusty valley pan i neglected to have replaced) on Saturday night after the storms. Shot them a text with pics this morning and they were out to repair the leak with in an hour. ON A SUNDAY! Need i say more?

We needed a roof replacement several years ago. The installation was done very professionally, the crew was good to work with. Recently, we developed some leaks, and had crossed the warranty expiration date. Alex was excellent to talk with, sent out one of his crew to assess and fix the leak, and did so, at no charge to us. Definitely had a very positive experience and will continue to work with them in the future
