Allstate roofing did a very professional job replacing our roof! Starting from the beginning speaking to office staff was professional and efficient, plus they all were extremely polite and kind. The workers came out on the Fourth of July and did an amazing job ,especially cleaning up! I recommend them to everyone that needs their roof professionally done!
I was disappointed with Allstate Roofing's installation of my metal roof. I have several complaints:
- they hired a subcontractor to install the roof without informing me beforehand
- they provided minimal oversight of the workers during installation
- the work quality was poor with multiple problems occurring (e.g., failure to properly bend the metal panels)
- most alarmingly, the workers moved my water heater's flue vent off center, allowing carbon monoxide to potentially enter my home
Even more disappointing than the problems was Allstate Roofing's reluctance to acknowledge or discuss them with me. Communication and follow-up were poor throughout the whole process, with several issues never being resolved.
Allstate Roofing failed as a business because of their lack of transparency, poor workmanship, and inadequate response to legitimate concerns. Homeowners should be cautious and consider other options for their roofing needs.

Follow up to Allstate Roofing's response to my review:
I contacted the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (NMRLD) to ask if a roofing company is responsible for moving a hot water flue vent during roofing. They are. NMRLD then discovered that Allstate Roofing never obtained a state permit for my roof (kind of a big deal). And when a state inspector did examine my roof, it didn't pass inspection.
I'm sure Allstate Roofing has dozens of happy customers and has done quality work in the past. But when a project does go south, Mr. Horner, admit it up front, communicate with your customer, and make things right as soon as possible.
Allstate Roofing recently replaced our shingled roof with a metal roof system. From start to finish the experience was great. Beginning with Larry who first came out to look over the roof and provide a quote. To owner Jim who scheduled the work in a very timely turn around and most importantly the crew who did the work lead by their supervisor Jorge. Excellent craftsmanship, knowledgeable and extremely hard-working group of installers. We love our roof! Thank you, Allstate Roofing.
