Allstate Roofing and Remodeling

In the past thirty-five years my house has required several roof replacements due to hail damage. This past October was the latest. Previous roof replacements were performed by various companies. Most recently, Allstate Roofing was retained. Unequivocally, Allstate Roofing is by far superior to any company we’ve experienced . Beginning with Jim, then Larry, Rose, Christina, Jorje, Jose, & the entire crew, we were treated so professionally & courteously. The work on several structures was completed beautifully & in a timely manner. Materials are of high quality & throughout the process we were kept apprised. When the job was completed, we were given a thorough “walk around” to “inspect” the completed work. We will always utilize Allstate Roofing when necessary & they will always receive our highest recommendation. Thank you for a job well done!

Allstate Roofing was a great choice for our roof replacement. Larry Owens was our first point of contact. He carefully inspected our old roof and noted the complex aspects of replacing a metal roof on our passive solar adobe home. Our home has many parapets with multiple roofing planes and slopes.
The office staff, Christina and Rose were efficient and friendly. Emails and phone calls were promptly answered.
When installation began, the owner Jim Horner came out and confirmed the approach the roofers should take. He came several times to check on the progress. The lead roofer, Jorge was highly skilled, professional and a great communicator.
The roof is beautiful ! It hasn’t rained yet, but we are confident it will perform well!

We chose Allstate Roofing for two main factors: first, for the superior product design and durability of the 24 ga. STEEL 1" SNAP LOK PANELS and second, for the exceptionally thorough and patient explanation of the system by sales rep. Larry Owens, who made himself available throughout the whole process for our questions and concerns.
INSTALLATION: The crews were on time, hard working and professional. Crew foreman, Jose was attentive and responsive. When we had a concern about the color of a skylight he personally found paint to match the roofing panels and repainted the skylight frame. He also responded to our concerns about minor imperfections and made corrections. He clearly demonstrated an attitude that evidenced a desire to provide customer satisfaction.
PERFORMANCE: the new completed roof increased our confidence in the roof's ability to protect us from the elements. In subsequent times of high winds the new roof has been much quieter than the old one.
SUMMARY: We are very pleased with Allstate Roofing and our new roof.

Impeccable work . All the way from fighting for us to get a new roof, to Alex and his team fixing and completing our roof. These men were so considerate and thoughtful to me and my family working quickly as possible to get the job done so we could return a quiet home, not only did they finish they job quickly they also cleaned up so well we couldn't even tell they had been there ! I initially worked with Larry Owens when he stopped in after a hail storm and said he would check for damage on my roof. He took note of the damage and we were off and running. I literally didn't have to do any heavy lifting with the insurance company at all. They worked with my insurance company, Larry was here when they sent out the adjusters (twice), Rose was AMAZING and handled getting the payment sent to me from the insurance company. The work was completed in 3 days, from start to finish by Alex and his team. Alex is very communicative. Between Larry, Rose, and Alex - I had stellar customer service. Highly recommend!

We recently had a new roof installed on our home on Albuquerque. We selected Allstate Roofing for the project and are glad we did. The quality of Allstate’s work was excellent. Equally important, they were very business-like throughout the process, from the initial estimate to completion. A roof installation is a reasonably complicated job, involving the contractor, the insurance company, the city building inspector, and the home owner. Allstate was very clear in their explanation of how the process would unfold. There was a complication, however, heavy rain started when the job was 80% complete and extended over several days necessitating a departure from the original schedule (roofing requires dry conditions for quality work). We always knew , though, what the plan was and were immediately informed of all changes in the schedule as they occurred. Construction work is much easier when conditions are perfect. The rain was a good test of Allstate’s ability to adapt to changing circumstances and keep their customer in the loop.

In almost 50 years of home ownership, this is the first time we have replaced a roof. It is probably the last, but if there is a next time, Allstate Roofing will be our first choice.

New roof looks beautiful! The crew arrived on time; worked hard; and completed the job within 2 days. Alex, the crew boss, gave some extra TLC to an area that had water damage. Office staff were very helpful and explained every detail of the job.

The office staff and outside crew were very courteous and professional at all times. I was kept informed every step of the way. My yard was cleaned up nicely when the roofing work was completed.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this organization. I have had roofs put on two other properties by other companies and Allstate did the best work. I will use them in the future.

A roof salesman came by (Phillip) and asked if he could check my roof for hail damage and said he would help file a claim if it did. I knew it was time for a new roof anyway so I let him. He discovered hail damage and right there on the spot he called my insurance and filed a claim. My insurance (Farmers) covered the entire replacement even though it was 23 years old. Allstate did a wonderful job. Their workers showed up when they said they would and they worked their butts off all day. I watched them through the window as they did the work and they were very precise with everything. The fabric looked nicely cut and laid, the shingles and nails were straight. The supervisor, Alex, was excellent in making sure all debris and nails were picked up. They used a magnet to get all the nails. We found a few but no biggie. They also had the city inspector come out to issue a permit so I have peace of mind it was done properly. I'd say the only negative thing was that the team members would periodically stop by for one reason or another throughout the process and they wouldn't always tell us they were coming. So sometimes we would be in the middle of dinner when the doorbell would ring. Otherwise, they did a great job and they got it done quickly and efficiently.

Took three days for the roofers to complete our fairly large roof with many peaks. The team worked very hard all day in July's sun blistering heat from early morning to late afternoon. When the job was finished, the cleanup was very thorough. Could not be happier.

I would never you Allstate roofing they left trash every wear. The my dish hanging off the roof. Call them to come back and fix it they didn't. Then they put my copper water line on the main electrical feed th o the house. When I call the guy just yelled and very rude

Our experience with Allstate Roofing was definitely 5 star! All of the employees we dealt with were top notch and their workmanship was excellent. No problems whatsoever. Excellent communication by both office staff and field personnel. This company also re-roofed another residence for us four years ago and there have been no issues with this roof. Definitely will use Allstate Roofing again and they are highly recommended.

I found their work and service to be top notch. Everything that was agreed to was done and done right. They offer a 5 year warranty on their work so I know that if something goes wrong I will be protected! Highly recommended!

Alex and the people working on our roof from Allstate worked through rain, sleet, and snow, like the old saying for the postal service said. They did a good job, and had pride in their work. I think our new roof may last forever, but if it doesn't, I know I can trust Allstate to make good on their warranties. Five stars, and a thanks to Allstate roofing. Allstate Roofing replaced our homes roof 4 ½ years ago. Our home was a 7-year-old custom home built when Allstate installed the roof due to hail damage. We have lost endless days waiting for no shows on scheduled repairs as well as actual repairs to virtually every room in our home from the more than 25 leaks/repairs since installation as the result of Allstate’s roof installation. Since the roof was installed Mr. Horner, Allstate Roofing owner has told me that he would not fix anything unless it’s leaking and this is what it looks like. The warranty will be up in June 2019. The leaks, mismatch of colors, all the patches and ripples throughout, it doesn’t have the appearance of a 4 1/2-year-old roof. The roof looks like 20 years plus as you can see in the attached pictures. I Do Not Recommend Allstate Roofing.

After heavy hailstorms from last summer, I was refer to contact Allstate Roofing by my parents. My parents used their company for 7 years+. The staffs were very professional, and friendly. They was able to get our roof done in no time. It finished beautifully. Alex Martinez and his crew did great job. They did make sure that they pick up whatever was left on the ground. They doubled check on the next day to make sure that there was no nails or any materials left out. On the bonus side, Alex know American Sign Language which make our communication much easier. My husband and I are deaf clients. Thank you for all your hard work!

We just had our roof reshingled (January 2019), our shed reshingled, and our porch reroofed by Allstate Roofing to fix some hail damage. We worked primarily with Alex Martinez, Rose Duran, and Jacob Willcox. They were all very professional and worked well with the insurance company. The crew that came to work did a good job, in a timely manner. After the primary work was completed Alex came back to inspect and we are working to fix the minor issues (good roofers aren't necessarily good painters) that were found. My wife told me the owner came by one day and she had a good experience with him as well when he did a pre-work inspection. Hopefully the city inspection goes well when they make it out here.

Horrible experience, uninterested owner, and very poor customer service. If I had it all to do over again I would have never used this company or would have gladly paid to break contract with them and use someone else. It’s currently January and I received a passed inspection from the city inspector on my roof yesterday. The first document I signed with them was in July. They failed inspection several times. They used my personal equipment to do their work without permission and then took it with them. Took almost 2 months to get my stuff back from them. And everything was unorganized and absolute last min with them. They would call as they were on the way to my house asking for me to do stuff that I was unable to accommodate because I was at work. I received a call one evening telling me the roofers would be there in the morning to start. That was all the notice I got. They would put up a ladder for the city inspector that would stay attached to the front of my house for weeks at a time including over the holidays. When I voiced my displeasure with the entire situation the owner just said “well it’s like a baby now that the labor is over you can get back to your life, so when can you bring the final payment?” No interest in any part of my dissatisfaction just where’s the money. I had already told him I would drop the payment today. Another drop everything your doing for us today situation. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Also here’s a pic of some of their paperwork so they can’t say they don’t know who I am.

Allstate Roofing is incredibly professional, knowledgeable with outstanding personal customer service. They worked on my elderly mother's home, let me guide mom through the process (from another state - many phone calls!) and kept me informed every step of the way. If you want a company that knows how to deal with insurance companies, and does the job right the very first time, then go with Allstate Roofing. Extremely happy!!!!

We used Allstate Roofing 7 years ago to install a new roof on our home. At that time they told me that, with their warranty, "Allstate Roofing is married to each roof installed for 10 years". I called them a few times through the years for maintenance on the roof. They responded quickly and efficiently. So after we had the most recent hailstorm in Albuquerque, I knew I would use Allstate Roofing again. Once again, they did an outstanding job. Alex Martinez was terrific. He personally oversees each job and he gives the same attention to detail that he would if it was the roof on his own home.

I can highly recommend Allstate Roofing based on their professionalism in every aspect of my interactions with them. They even obtained a permit and their work was inspected by the city. I received a timely, complete but concise estimate. I had conversations with available and knowledgeable office staff that helped me understand exactly the work that would be done, and I believe I have a better roof because of the time they spent with me. The site supervisor came the day before work was to start and went over my job specifications and let me know what to expect; he was available during the job, answered any questions and kept me updated. The very conscientious work crew arrived each day on time, worked diligently, and completely protected and cleaned up my property. I was very impressed with their skill and hard work. I believe that Allstate Roofing’s team approach ensures a better outcome for their customers. I’ve certainly had a totally positive experience doing business with them.

As new homeowners, we were unsure of the process for having repairs done on our existing roof. Allstate Roofing made this entire process easy! Kevin and his crew were always on top of communication, flexible with their scheduling, and quick to get the job done. Helpful, honest, and professional. Couldn't ask for a better company to work with!

Allstate Roofing replaced my roof and handed it very professionally. As my contractor, they handled everything from meeting and dealing with my insurance rep to completing the job in a timely manner. I am currently working with them on a metal roof for my cabin in the mountains.

Great Roofing Company. The girls in the office are quick to respond and the work was done in a timely manner. My roof looks great and I will be calling them again for my rentals!

This owner has had a few different businesses in the past decade. Those warranties he had promised are no longer valid. He is the kind of business that everyone warns about. Here today, gone tomorrow. Do not be his victim. His warranties sound good, But once he closes and opens up under a new name, you will not be covered anymore. I do not understand how these people are able to get away with this.

Allstate Roofing recently completed a project on our old historic building which is now an art gallery. They were extremely professional and went the extra mile to come up with solutions to structural issues that made for a complicated roof repair. The bottom line is that the building finally has a solid roof. Thank you to the Allstate team for working around our exhibition schedule and giving us peace of mind that the artworks are now safe from the elements !

Allstate Roofing did a great job on our roof. Larry, Jim and their entire crew were enjoyable to work with. Their on-site foremen were easy to work with as well. Both Larry and Jim came out to our home to check things over and inspect the work on several occasions. They kept every promise they made. One very important thing: They have excellent crews. These guys show up on time, work hard and don't waste time texting or talking on their cell phones. I went up on the roof several times while they were working and every crew member seemed focused on the task at hand. Kudos to Jim and his management team for finding and hiring such excellent workers. I would recommend Allstate Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof.

We were approached by this company after a hail storm hit our neighborhood. We were asked to sign an agreement by which Allstate Roofing would work with us through the claim process with our insurance and then agreed to do the roofing job for whatever the insurance paid. We went through the process and our insurance only allowed for half of the roof (the damaged part) to be fixed. We asked for a quote from this company to do the other half of the roof and were promised a quote. We never received one. Meanwhile, all our neighbors roofs were completed with this company, but we never heard back from them. I then asked for our roof to be scheduled for just the half roof that we had received claim money from and I also never received a response after trying to reach out several times, via phone and email. Finally we requested that we be released from our contract so we could pursue getting our roof done on our own. Again no response. Finally 22 weeks after the hail storm we are released and working to find a new contractor. Very unprofessional, poor customer service and poor communication.
