I have had experience with 3 different roofers and none come close to the terrific experience I have had with Ben at Allied Construction. Their work ethic is simply unmatched. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to my closest friends and family without hesitation. Ben restores my sometimes lagging faith in decent, honest, and ethical contractors. I wish he was the norm rather than the exception.

Working with Allied Construction for my roof replacement was a great experience. From start to finish, working with Ben and his team were great. They were booked out a bit (summer time) but communicated the timelines to me and kept me up to date. When the installation time came, they communicated the drop off time of the dumpster, the arrival times of the crews and the expected completion time. When they opened it up, they found a few more things that needed to be taken care of and they made sure the job was done right. It was HOT the days they were here, but they worked efficiently, were pleasant to have around the property (no bad language or smoking that I've experienced with other contractors) and they cleaned up meticulously. Pricing was fair and didn't change from his estimate. Thank you for giving me confidence the roof will be sound moving forward.

Ben arrived on time. He corrected a problem with my leaking skylight, which Allied Construction, installed with the new roof 18 years ago.
He worked on it for two hours, cleaning out fir needles, which had caused a clog. He didn’t charge me a dime, even though it’s well past my warranty.

Allied construction does great work and stands by their work as well. Very communicative and responsive to my requests.

They updated our protective coating on our flat roof and came back after some weather to make sure the roof was adequately protected.

We decided to replace the 26-year-old composite roof on our shop with a metal roof that we can easily add solar panels to in the future. From the first email through to even after the roof was installed, Ben has been professional, responsive and patient with me and all of my questions. He and his crew did a great job and were careful to clean up the site afterward. We have been so impressed that we have scheduled Ben and his crew to replace the roof on our house this summer as well. Definitely recommend.

Really professional; made a careful inspection and recognized ways in which roof drainage could be improved, then efficiently replaced the existing roof with very well-engineered metal sheeting. I'm very happy with their service and recommend Allied highly.

Ben and his crew were friendly, conscientious and punctual. The bid from Allied was more reasonable than most we received. They replaced our wood shingled roof with composition. Being partial to wood, we were worried we might not like the new look, but it turned out great.
I highly recommend Allied Construction.

Very pleased with the process, people and product delivered. HAD to remove / replace all of our 1970-era cabin tongue and groove roof, due to rot and ants. Allied got it done quickly, cleanly and a huge relief for all seasons here in the Cascades. Recommend? Yes.

Random acts of kindness: My driving school kids and I were struggling with a low tire and a non-working pump at the AM PM in Monroe... and an Allied Construction Super Hero came to our rescue. Thank you! Your kindness is beyond words of gratitude.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
