Nick and his team did an amazing job repairing extensive water damage from a faulty washing machine in my home. I have never received such great service from a contractor. 1. They went the extra mile to ensure that all damage had been identified and reported. 2. Nick was an advocate for me throughout the entire job when it came to working with the insurance company and the product/supply companies. 3. He was extremely reliable, always taking calls and responding to messages no matter how busy he was. 4. Nick’s attention to detail was over the top! One of the damaged rooms had to have the sheetrock for both the ceiling and the walls replaced. The existing texture in my home is quite uncommon but Nick researched it and worked to make it a perfect match. Family and friends can’t believe that the walls and ceiling were part of the repair. I believe Nick and his team took on this job treating my home as if it were their own. Great thought and skill went into everything they did right down to keeping an eye on things while I was out of the country. Results? I have my home back. I have received tons of compliments on how beautiful everything looks. The icing on the cake came when Nick and team found time to finish the roughed in fireplace that had been sitting as an eyesore for 7 years. He provided a very prompt response, came over to take a look, and had a quote put together very quickly. We elected to move forward and the experience was very positive. Allied was a fantastic contractor for our basement finishing/remodel. They took our unfinished basement and literally doubled the usable space in our house. Nick was amazing to work with. He is knowledgeable, professional, and extremely talented. The guys with Allied were very professional and easy to communicate with. We called Allied after not getting good vibes from other potential remodelers. Nick contacted us right away, reviewed the project with us and provided a quote in very short order. By the following day I had an estimate to replace the shingles. Within a week the job was completed- it took less than a day and a half. Nick and his team did an excellent job. We contacted Nick to work on our basement after we had severe water damage. He came in and got a very thorough and reasonable quote to us within a few days. He worked directly with our insurance adjuster to make sure we were getting what we needed to correct the water issue. Nick was super easy to work with and did an outstanding job. I hired Nick to remodel my kitchen. Even though my kitchen was a small one and overall not a huge job, he kept in frequent communication and was easy to reach via text or phone throughout the job - and I had a lot of questions as I'd never done a remodel before! He provided good input and suggestions but in the end let me make the final decisions without pressure. He respected the budget I had for the project, gave me estimates if I wanted to make additions or upgrades, and didn't try to push me into anything I didn't want. He is honest, knowledgeable, and professional.

I called Allied as I recommendation from a co-worker due to issues with water coming in around a basement window. Nick discovered that the window wells were improperly installed when they were replaced by a previous contractor. He didn't try and sell me fix I didn't need and even gave me a couple solutions to try and remedy the issue while I am in conversations with the previous contractor, all at no charge. I will definitely be contacting him for any future work I may need.

Nick came and fixed our roof after the 80 mph wind came. He was super professional and got it done the same day we called him. Would recommend him to everyone!

We had Nick come and do sheet rock in our garage this fall. We are beyond impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Great price, great attitude, excellent work - we will only ever use Allied Build and Remodel!

I contacted Nick to quote the work to repair some building code violations in my basement. We set up a time and date for the quote, I texted him the day of to confirm the time again, and he replied that he thought it was yesterday and didn't have the address (The address is included on the email I sent you -- what are you doing, man?). He was scheduled elsewhere today and he asked if we could reschedule.

When I asked when his schedule would be open to reschedule, he replied with another pile of excuses and didn't answer the question. After over an hour of waiting, I gave up. There are other companies that have their act together and I can't be arsed to chase down contractors for scheduling issues.

If you can't wrangle a basic calendar I don't trust you to work on my home. Hopefully he finds someone to do that for him.

Edit: Below in their response they openly admit to not caring about their prospective customers compared to existing ones. I highly recommend that if you're reading these reviews as a potential customer to look elsewhere. You can see this company doesn't care about you.

I contacted Nick in regards to issues I am having with ice damming on the roof. I was concerned about problems it may be causing with all the snow we have had and if he could help me. Nick came out and looked at the damming and suggested we get the snow off the roof and then we can address the problem of why the ice dams are occurring. After going up in the attic and looking around he discovered that there was insufficient insulation and ventilation which was probably causing the damming. We got rid of the ice dam, the snow and will be addressing the insulation/ventilation problem next. If you are looking for someone who is honest, very knowledgeable give Nick a call. Thanks again!..

We had Nick remodel our two bathrooms and kitchen in the early fall of 2018. We are tottally impressed on how he treated us and the project. We enjoyed his personality, his honesty and how timely he was on the whole project. He had great subs hired for there certain jobs and the workmanship was absolutely great. If we ever need work done again he will be the first contractor I will call. He was very particular on detail and that was very impressive!!!!

Shortly after purchasing our first home, we realized our main doorway was actually an interior design rather than an exterior. When approaching Nick regarding the job request to install a new exterior door, we asked if the job could be done before the cold weather came in the fall. Although Nick had many months to complete the door installation, he had it done within the week! Because that job was completed so promptly and affordably, we were able to find room in our budget to then request Nick’s assistance in insulating and sheet-rocking our garage. Similarly, this job was completed in a timely manner, partly by a high quality crew & Nick, and finished to an exceptional standard.

Nick and his subs did a complete remodel of the interior of our home so it was a big project. Everything was explained and discussed thoroughly and Nick gave us great help on making the best decisions. The workmanship and obvious dedication to craft is apparent in every aspect of the work done and our home has been beautifully transformed. Nick is trustworthy and we gained a friend as well as an outstanding builder when we hired him. If you have a job, large or small, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t hire Allied Build and Remodel! We feel so lucky to have found Nick’s company and no one else will ever do any building work for us!

Worthy of a 5 star rating! We hired Nick to remodel our condo and he did not disappoint. Professional and knowledgeable from start to finish, Nick listened to our needs and put together a timeline and cost for each project before starting. We really appreciated his attention to detail and being hands on throughout the process. Our project included removing a wall and an outdated fireplace ( 4000+ lbs of ugly!!), replacing all flooring, adding shiplap and wainscoting, and a multitude of smaller projects too. We'd definitely hire Nick again!

Nick listens to what you want done, but also gives you his suggestions. He gives you a timeline and sticks to it.He is very punctual to the time he tells you he will arrive and if he happens to be running late he will call you to let you know. He has great attention to detail.
