We were closing on a home and the appraisal found the roof needed repairs. Our closing was right before Thanksgiving and we needed a high quality job done fast to be on time. Rebel and the team at All American Exteriors were clear and timely with their communication and helped us to get all the documentation we needed, and made the fix happen in only an afternoon, a cold windy one no less. About a year and 1/2 ago we had a terrible storm come thru New Virginia, many of the fly by nights we up on the roof and said we needed a new roof, never one telling us that there were holes up there! I went thru my phone looking for roofers and remembered Rebel! He is now my guy!! He brought his crew over and they went up on the roof and made a temperory fix until the adjuster came out. Now my Son out on Ashworth by Valley High School and they had a horrible storm come thru. I told him I was calling Rebel. This man is the most honest gentleman your ever meet and his crew is one in a million. Call him he is not a fly by night just trying to take your $$$

Was able to get class 4 shingles in a few days and installed right when they came in. Very polite crew

Excellent work and attention to detail! We are very pleased with the result. They even went as far as to install 2x4s up the side of the house to attach the main electric feed conduit to the house and then wrap the 2x4s in white metal to match the new siding--looks great. Crews were efficient and skillful. They straightened up the work site at the end of each day, and when they completed the job they cleaned up so well that we didn't know they were ever there. Workers kept us well informed throughout the job and were always ready and happy to respond any questions or concerns we had. We thought the cost was very reasonable, especially when we figured in the life expectancy of the roof and siding, energy savings for cooling and heating, and reduced insurance costs due to the metal roof.

Beware!!

Although they made quick time of the project you pay for it in the long run. Rebel and his team rushed and left holes in my siding where they ripped out the previous homeowners dish clips AND a hole in the roof under facade. We have contacted the office manager to pass along our requests to touch base with Rebel as well as including pictures of the before and after of our siding to get those repaired MULTIPLE times this summer. He has NEVER returned our calls nor is he in the office to speak with when we stopped by. We now have to contact an exterminator as wasps and bees have started to build hives in these holes in the back. The hole in the roof facade now hosts a bird that had tried to attack my children and I as we enter and exit our home as it right next to our side door that we use as our main entrance. Both my husband and our 7 lb dog have been stung which required a vet visit and pain meds due to the extreme pain she was in. Seems like we will now have to pay a handyman to fix our siding as well due to his negligence and refusal to speak to his customers. Poor customer service. Don’t do business with them!!

Rebel does what he says he is going to do.
He met with our insurance inspector and was able to get a new roof approved. From the start of the project to the end, he communicated and kept us informed on each step of the process, making sure we were happy.
When it was complete, if there was anything we felt that needed attention, he said he would fix. We had no issues, and nothing needed to be addressed.
We were so pleased with his professionalism and consistent communication; we hired All American Exteriors for our siding that needs replaced.

Rebel and his crew just completed a refurbish of our mobile home which included both the home and garage. We now have quality roofing, new siding over a completely wrapped home and garage and new seamless gutters. All work far exceeded our expectations and displayed real craftsmanship. We have used All American Exteriors on our previous home and we knew exactly who to call when we received hail damage on our current home in March 2022. They responded quickly to our call for an insurance appraisal and they worked with our insurance company giving them the estimate and pictures showing the roof damage. As soon as our insurance company approved the appraisal they ordered the shingles and we had our new roof in less than two weeks. The roofing crew worked around our landscaping and when they were done our yard was left like they had never been there! Like I said our first call is always to All American Exteriors, we trust them to get the job done and done right!

Work was done in good time. Crew was very conscious of keeping things cleaned up when they put on my new roof.

When we needed a new roof three years ago, we talked to several companies and chose All American Exteriors. We were extremely happy with the job they did! So, when we had hail damage from the storms this summer, we knew that Rebel would be our one and only call. If you want to get ripped off and lied to then Rebel will do that to you. You would think that a business from a small town would treat it's customers better than that. That's not the case here. It was the worst experience I ever had with a contractor ever. Rebel will probably say I was never a customer of his,but I was.

I called to get a quote on our roof due to hail damage. The same day I received the quote and the new roof was on in two days. Great and friendly service!

Worked with Rebel to get new siding on my home, including new gutters, some stone work and a new window. I couldn't have asked for more in the craftsmanship of the work. Rebel's team did a great job. During the project I decided to replace one additional window and it was taken care of. My existing roof had some issues during a large downpour and he had guys out within the hour to take a look and fix the problem. Finally, I had some work done by another contractor and the trim work was just not the same as what Rebel's crew did. And you know what, he had his guys come out and redid the trim so it looked the same. Do yourself a favor and talk to Rebel about any of your exterior needs.

Update 2022 - I had Rebel and his crew come out and complete a full roof replacement on my primary home. I was very pleased with the results and it still looks great years later.

Our experience with All American Exteriors and Rebel was excellent.
We had damage on our flat roof which caused extensive leaking. It was too cold to repair the roof when we called, so they put down a tarp which helped immensely. The crew that came to our home did a great job, they were very thorough. We're extremely happy and confident in what they did. We had hard rains shortly after our new roof and there are no leaks. This house is the second one that Rebel has roofed for us, we wouldn't use anyone else.

Our house is like new!!! Rebel and his team did a fabulous job !! They were timely, efficient , professional and did quality work. We purchased new siding, window wraps, new doors and gutters . I misunderstood a portion of the door work and contacted Rebel to discuss . He was super understanding and came to complete the work HIMSELF! There were no hidden fees and we couldn’t be more happy!

We have waited over 8 years for new siding on our 1947 home . After the Polar Vortex and Derecho in Iowa we couldn’t wait any longer and took the plunge. I sent inquires to over 6 companies for quotes and Rebel was by far the best in all areas. His responsiveness and professionalism have been superb! He has followed through on all his promises and quotes . The work doesn’t start until June or July but I am so excited to see the final product . You can truly tell his company is his passion and it radiates in all his conversations . He is dedicated to his craft and to restoring our first ever home back to its original glory. The most professional exterior company in Iowa, hands down. There are no surprises when using All American Exteriors. It is amazing how a company can be represented in such a professional clear manner, while still maintaining the feeling of being a friend.

When I could not get any companies to give me so much as a quote, it only took ONE phone call for All American. They show up when they say they will, explain the whole process clearly. Go over All charges, even the ones that may not be apparent to the owner, and work with you on payment. Whether it be through insurance, financing, or even a grant.

What I'm trying to say is, if you need siding, roofing, or anything exterior related you need to do everything you can to get All American Exteriors to do the work. It is definitely worth it, and you ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for.

I would highly recommend using this company. They were out the next day after the derecho in August of 2020. Rebel’s main concern on the 10th was that we were ok and that he would have his crew out first thing in the morning. If an issue arises, it is handled promptly.

We contacted Rebel based on very positive feedback from some friends. My experience was quite different. Rebel promised he would take care of everything in working with the insurance company to get alignment on the scope of work. However, he stopped doing anything shortly after that. Months passed with no returned phone calls or e-mails. Larry in the office doesn’t know anything and is unable to help. He was able to verify that Rebel was still alive and just not responding. So I guess that is something.

I finally got a response from Rebel that he would be at the second inspection. He was a no show. He did answer the phone and was able to talk to the insurance company and said he was available the next day. However, he would not respond to repeated phone calls and messages by myself and the insurance company.
I contacted him an hour later stating that I wanted out of the contract that we signed months earlier. He promptly responded acknowledging that the contract was void. Long story short, he said he could do something that I don’t think he ever intended to do. He should have been honest from the beginning.

If you are looking for frustration, anger and disappointment with little to no communication or feedback in return, then give them a call today. They can ignore you as well as any other contractor.

Replaced damaged siding and upgraded my downspouts. Felt Rebel was the most professional and trustworthy of people I had give quotes. I completely changed everything on Rebel after orginal quote and he was super nice to me and still got the job done. Rebel will be my first call for any future work.

Very professional company and employees. I was more than pleased with the service and products. They installed new gutters,siding and windows. There was one small thing I didn't like and it was corrected the very next day. No questions asked. I have already recommended to other people.

Rebel and his crew do an amazing job. I bought an older house and found it had four layers of asphalt shingles and shakes as the deck underneath. Rebel gave me an up front quote at a very good price for the work that needed to be done. the crew was out the following week and the whole project was completed quickly including removing one of the old chimney stacks from the roof. Had to fire my original contractor after they did crappy work and left debris on property that caused 2 tire flats. Was recommended to this company and got a quote for a redo of previous contractors work and adding some decorative siding. BEAUTIFUL! And they cleaned up after themselves so well you’d never know they were there. Fair quotes, honest work. I regret not hiring them in the first place. Strongly recommend.

All American Exteriors did an amazing job siding our house. The vinyl siding is high quality and you can't tell it is vinyl unless you are up close. The installers did an amazing job and were respectful and helpful. The job was done quickly even in the unpredictable March weather. We have so many compliments on our house. All American's quote was easy to understand and they did the work they promised with no hidden charges or unexpected costs during the installation process. They worked with us and our financing company on payment. Honestly, the process from start to finish was easier than I could have imagined given the amount of work done.

I realize this is extremely long, but please read. The only reason this is a 1 us because they wouldn't allow me to put 0 stars... I had them out to bid out some window replacements in August. They "ordered" the window's (though they weren't the cheapest, they were local, so I decided to go with them. Three months went by and I hadn't heard anything, I called and was told the windows were on "back order". A few more months go by and still nothing. I call again and speak to Brian (again) apparently they still haven't received the windows are still on back order and should be in the first week of January. During that call (with all the other issues) I figured i better make sure the order was correct, color, size, etc... turns out, the color was incorrect on one of the windows, they were supposed to match the other windows in my house and for some odd reason, one of them was ordered incorrectly. I explained the issue to Brian and he said it wasn't possible to change them and that we were still responsible for the full cost. I ended up having to speak with the owner of the company to get this rectified. Once we got that all ironed out, I was told to expect a call the first week of January to discuss installation dates. It got to the 11th of January and I hadn't heard anything. I called and they said they would call me back with a date later that day. I didn't hear anything, I I drove down to the store front. Prior to walking in, I decided to call one more time (around 1:30), the secretary checked to see if Brian was available and let me know he wasn't. *It's a store front*, I could literally see the interaction taking place thru the plate glass windows. Brian was standing there talking to the secretary. I walked in and called him out on it. I then asked when I could expect the windows be installed. He said he had to check his calendar. I told him I'd wait and he said he'd check tomorrow and call me. I then asked if the windows had at least come in yet, he said yes, we just got them today... Needless to say the rest of my experience was just as " pleasant" as the prior part. The installation date was changed 3 times. It's the 18th of January and we're finally getting the windows installed. Again, we only have 2 going in. I was told mid morning the installer would be here. He showed up around noon. Got part of one window installed by 5pm and said he would be back tomorrow at 8am to finish up. It got to about 9:15am and nothing. I called the company again to see what was going on, they said he would be here around 10am he was running late. As far as the installation goes the installer was much more pleasant than Brain. However he left a mess and didn't have any punctuality or sense of leaving a place as clean as it was when he got there. There was trash in the yard and mess in our house. The main window was the wrong size, but they "made it fit"... I'm prematurely writing this, assuming today they will finish the job as promised, which is probably a mistake based on my previous experience with All American Exteriors. I've never written a previous review on a product or service. I'm usually very lenient on things but with this, the line finally came where I felt obligated to share my experience. I'm sure I'm missing something that also went wrong, but there were honestly too many to remember.

I called and got an appointment to have an estimate on our rental property's roof. I got a reminder call a few days prior. I went out and waited for them and they no showed. No call or anything. They called me the following day to tell me they closed due to weather and would like to reschedule for the following week. 2 1/2 weeks for just an estimate? No thanks. Definitely wouldn't recommend them
