Really nice people, Daniel was very quick and responsive. Professional, nice manners, a pleasure to work with. We had some damage to an interior door frame, in a historic home in the museum district, and they were able to repair it back to its original appearance. They fit us in the same week we were given our quote, were reasonable in price, and even painted the trim without charge. Very thankful for their service, would definitely book again! Thank you!
I only post reviews when I am exceptionally pleased or exceptionally displeased with a service provider or retailer. Alex and Son Contractors falls in the category of being exceptionally pleased. My regular contractor for our Richmond rental properties moved to Florida. I wound up doing a Google search and looking at these Google reviews and took a shot on this company based on those reviews. My primary point of contact was Daniel. He and his team were punctual for the initial estimate appointments as well as the later work schedule. We had a number of things we needed done, including rebuilding the front porch, columns, and under structure on our older Union Hill rental home. We also needed the aluminum rubber coating redone on the difficult to access roof. Lastly, we were looking at a new privacy fence for the backyard and painting of the front area along with repair of various damaged siding. Daniel and his team gave what we considered to be a fair estimate of charges for this work. They completed all the work in a professional and timely manner. Along the way they also brought to our attention several areas that needed attention, and that were leading to structural damage that we were not aware of. These observations were astute, and I never felt that I was being up sold for work not necessary. The long and short of it is that I have become very comfortable with this company and now have used them on additional properties that we have in the Richmond area. I wholeheartedly recommend Alex and Son contractors.
Alex and his sons Daniel and Carlos just finished a whole- house window replacement job for us. It wasn’t easy because each window (29 of them) had to be custom-fitted.
