We used Alcove for siding, roofing, windows, and gutters. Eric kept us up to date on everything. My biggest kuddos is that when there was an issue, he addressed it. Issue as in minor miscommunication about a set of stairs we had built for the back door. He addressed it quickly and we ended up with exactly what I wanted! Very pleased with our end result!

Alcove was the third place to give us a quote for a sunroom addition but we knew they were the right company after taking with Eric. Communication was always excellent and if Eric didn't know the answer he would find out. We were excited to start our project, but then final results have blown is away. The sunroom is where our whole family spends the day and we couldn't be happier! The before and after are two completely different houses! Alcove is the first place I will call of we ever need anything else done and they are the only place I recommend when people are looking for an honest contractor that stands by their work through the whole process and after. Working with Eric was great! Every subcontractor that came was very conscientious about the work they performed. They were all very pleasant to work with and cleaned up each day they were done! We Love our new sunroom!! I will contact Alcove again next time I need work done!!

Alcove removed and replaced our deck for us so that we could access the foundation below for repairs. This company came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Eric listened to our needs, explained in detail how the process would work, and followed through on everything we discussed. Omar and deck crew were wonderful to work with- respectful of our property, kept the project organized and cleaned up, answered all of my questions, and made sure that everything was perfect before the job was completed. Worst company I have ever worked with! His incompetence cost us time an money. We hired him to do a large project and after doing 25% he stalled the project for 4 months. After the stall he came back for more money yet has never shown any costs/receipts! Stay AWAY!

Eric responded immediately when I called about water damage to my ceiling. His crew arrived the next day to stop the leak from my windows. When the new windows arrived they were installed quickly but with great attention to detail. The new windows are a great improvement and the damaged ceiling looks like new. I would definitely use Alcove in the future.

Eric helped us with a roof replacement, siding replacement, and the installation of a sun run with a solar skylight. Super responsive and professional. Very high quality work! We are going to schedule more work next year!

Alcove did a great job replacing our shake shingle roof. Eric was out the same day I called to assess the roof and make recommendations. His quote was very reasonable and his crew was hard at work the very next morning after we accepted the estimate. They did a great job, took great pains to protect our landscaping, and did a thorough clean-up after the work was completed. Customer service was exceptional. We plan to use Alcove on future projects and highly recommend them.

I think they did a fantastic job. I think the only thing I'd love to see is more of a project schedule based on other project work they are doing for others. Not a huge deal at all, but that's the only thing. The work was done well and I never really had to do much.

I was very pleased with my dealings with Ken “Eric”Hansen and his work crew. They were great about keeping me up to date on their progress and their schedule.
My daily schedule caused me to be around at different times throughout the process so I was able to observe the work crew at a variety of times. They were conscientious about their work area. The guys cleaned up after themselves throughout the day, so I never had to worry about stepping on scraps of wood or metal.
My husband and I are thrilled with our deck. Once we came up with a design, Eric worked diligently to make our plan a reality. I’m very proud of the deck we now have and would recommend Eric to anyone looking for a builder.

We had a very poor job that needed corrected immediately. Eric came over, gave a fair quote on a very timely assessment, and had his boys out within a week to start the project. They worked an honest eight hours and finished the job within the two day window he quoted. The job was done properly, on time, and Eric represents his company flawlessly. Good, honest workers are often hard to find, but they're absolutely found at Alcove.

Quality of installation of my new roof and new gutters/downspouts was pretty high. Eric's dealing with the insurance company resulted in more cash to work with. Eric regularly keep contact with us through the process, which was comforting and fruitful. We had to be patient with Alcove, though...it took an entire year before they got it all done (there was a high volume of hail damaged roofs in Omaha to deal with)...but it was worth the wait.

Eric was very responsive via email and phone regarding questions and concerns. He kept me updated on the status of the work. My insurance claim required lots of back-and-forth and additional documentation. Eric was always helpful and timely. I'd definitely recommend this company to others.

We had our roof, siding, Soffit, Fascia, doors, windows & overhead garage door done by Alcove. Overall did a great job. Seems like there was a hiccup on every step of the project, and the housekeeping wasn't the greatest. The overall final product turned out great thank you Eric and crew. All in all I would recommend this company for any exterior needs.

We had our roof completely replaced as well as some siding on our house replaced after a hail storm. Alcove, specifically Eric, was so great to work with. He patiently talked through all of our options, examined the house for the right repairs needed and worked with our budget. The outcome has been flawless. After the crew did their work, Eric was back out at the house making sure the work was done correctly before we closed out the project.

Eric was very responsive and easy to work with. We had storm damage and needed tree work, roof, and gutters. Alcove was able to handle all the clean-up and repairs.

The project moved fast! The work happened over the weekend so I didn't have to take time off from my work. They didn’t come too early and they talked nice to my dog. :- ) It was as basement wall stabilization project paneling repair… access to the block wall. Outlet power lines were nicked during the panel removal process, but I didn’t need the outlet so the lines were abounded in place by terminating in an electrical box with solid cover. Yah! The existing trim on the paneling was carefully removed and reinstalled for a unifying décor feature since drywall replaced the paneling. Stabilization anchors access was made with 12x12 plumbing access panels. It provided a tidy look and I am happy! Very reasonable and super easy people to work with. <

Alcove has always been more than fair on their pricing. They respond in more than a timely fashion. The crew is great, friendly, and quickly address or take care of any concerns. They are my go to company for any tree or roof work. Old time values that I appreciate.

Our hail damage repair, the roof , gutters , siding issues, and even tree trimming done by one company. Was very happy with the quality of work and only having to deal with one person. Water problems all gone better than before the damage.

Alcove tree service thinned out a huge maple tree in front of my house. They delicately dropped several large limbs that were close to my neighbors house and thoroughly cleaned up the yard afterward.

I am a real estate agent in Omaha NE and Alcove has performed several repairs for many of my clients. Alcove has always been willing to expedite repairs in time sensitive situations, which is critical in my business. I never think twice to recommend them to my buyers and sellers.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking about getting a roof, siding, windows or anything else Alcove companies offers, Do Not Use Them! We have had an ongoing sunroom renovation that was started in July. He never finished the work completely and yet has threatened to put a lien against my house because I did not pay the remainder of the bill within a week. He has terrible communication and every excuse under the sun including: I am sick; I was in the hospital; my wife broke her knee; the worker is sick; the worker forgot to order his meds; this is the best help I can find; my worker died two years ago I have just not been able to replace him; I did not realize how this was put together so I need to order more parts, we lost the screws so I need to order more, I had a surgery, my wife had to go to the doctor again, the kids had practice, and on and on. These were real excuses given by him over the course of 5 months. Today, he had the gall to threaten to put lien on my house for $600. We have paid him over $20,000 between the sunroom and roof. Are you kidding me? 5 months and you are upset because it took me 8 days to mail a check?
