AJR roofing did a fantastic job putting on the new roof. They also did a fantastic job building a dormer, even matching the paint color of the siding perfectly. They were also very polite and respectful.

We highly recommend AJR roofing company. Angel was very prompt in answering our questions , they completed the job in timely manner , the crew’s workmanship quality was great. Additional work was needed and they discussed it for our approval.
They left property free of all roof debris , and protected landscaping.

5 Star Job for me in South Thomaston, ME. 3BR house with large dormer shingling completed in 1 day. Angel was on time for the estimate appointment. A 10-person crew showed up on time at 0700 and I've never seen people work as hard and well together. In addition to a new shingled roof, they repaired a complicated eave and soffit that was rotted and their carpenters knew what they were doing. They cleaned up so you wouldn't know they had been here. It's hard to find people with a strong work ethic and this operation has it. They appear to be three brothers who run the operation with three work crews and have reportedly been operation for about 15 years in the area. Slight language barrier noted, but it didn't affect the outcome.

AJR Roofing is top notch, all the way. They are friendly, professional, straightforward and great to work with. My large roof was finished in one very long day by a big, well coordinated team of roofers and helpers. Everyone knew their job and did it well. At the end, the site was completely cleaned, all plants were fine. The best.

Angel and his crew did an excellent job. Angel was always prompt to respond to my emails and to answer questions. They arrived on the day we had agreed upon. It was good to see how organized they were. And carried out the job safely and efficiently. Everything was cleaned up and not one nail left behind. My neighbor gave me the contact information for AJ Roofing several weeks ago and I'm so pleased I reached out to her. I had contacted her since I new she had her roof done last year and she was very pleased with their work and price. Prior to contacting her, I had left messages with other local contractors a month or so ago, and no one returned my calls.
I left a message with AJ Roofing and they responded within several days, inspected the project and gave me a quote within 10 days. I was pleasantly surprised with the bid and signed without hesitation and they started almost immediately...
Course the quick response was probably due to the fact it was a fairly small job and they could squeeze me in on a Sunday.

I highly recommend Angel and his team. Shingles were torn off my roof in the storm before Christmas. I tried calling six roofing contractors and did not receive even a call back from any. I saw a sign for AJR Construction on a local road and called. Angel called me back immediately. He showed up the next morning to assess the damage and two workers were here that afternoon to repair it all. Less than 24 hours, start to finish. Such a refreshing experience.

Angel and his team at AJR Construction are spectacular. The team works together very efficiently, politely, and professionally. (Needing to access a cupola above a metal roof that was extremely difficult to access, and not possible for a lift) We spent 3+ years trying to get other companies to do this job, sometimes with extraordinary high estimates and impossiblv long waiting times . They had skillfully negotiated the metal with ingenious ladder and scaffolding systems, did Impeccable work with amazing efficiency! Also at a reasonable charge ! We couldn’t be happier!

Types of shingles and other materials were reviewed. Rates were lower than many. The work was performed as scheduled and the workers were efficient and pleasant. The team works fast. AJR Construction did a great job for a great price. They reshingled our roof in one day and within a couple of weeks of our signing the contract. They used premium shingles and their clean up was thorough. The contractor, Angel Roldan, is great to work with and he responded promptly to our questions and concerns. His bid was thousands less than the next lowest quote. We did our “due diligence”, checking references, BBB rating, liability and workers comp insurances and AJR Construction met all of our requirements. My wife has already recommended AJR Construction to a friend.

AJR Construction Services provided excellent communication and service. Angel met me right away and within a couple of days we had a detailed contract to review. The cost estimate was the lowest of three we received. We received an email five days before the work was to be completed. The roof installation was the result of storm damage. Of the four bids received AJR Construction Services was the lowest with the most comprehensive written description of service. When contacted for a bid, the owner had a representative inspect the next day and a quote followed the next day. Because the damage occurred during the winter, AJR monitored the weather and during a window of opportunity they completed the installation in one day. The professional manner in which they started, conducted, and completed the work was excellent. Woke up to a leak in the bedroom. Talked to Angel. He sent Jose out to my house within an hour. These guys are the best. With snow on the roof I thought I was sunk. Jose took on the job and professionally completed the repair. If I could rate them higher I would.

Angel was very responsive in getting us a quote, got us scheduled quickly, showed up when promised, and got the job completed in two days even though it was quite complicated (multiple eaves, dormers, lightning rods, etc.). I called to get an estimate for a new roof. In 2 days I had the estimate and within 7 days Angel and his crew installed my new roof. AJR Construction did an excellent job and kept me updated on progress as I was not on site. I highly recommend them.

I was really impressed by this company. I needed to have a new roof on my garage (not a huge job), and they came when they said they would. They were in and out in less than five hours, and cleaned everything up perfectly. And the job is just great. Nice people, too. We'll have them do the rest of the house next year. Highly recommend!
