We had a great experience using Affordable Interiors for a bathroom remodel. Professional quality work through and through. We ended up with an absolutely stunning vanity and walk-in shower in our master bathroom. Caitlin, Matt, Kimberly, and Omar were great to work with

Affordable Interiors is the place to go if you need ideas for tiling your kitchen or bathrooms. We thought we knew what type of tile and color would work best for backsplashes in our kitchen and primary bathroom. When we met with Kimberly at Affordable's showroon she listened to our ideas, presented countless samples of tile types, colors and designs. Her expertise was very beneficial which helped us narrow down our choices. She showed us how choosing a grout color can alter the look and feel of a wall that is tiled. Grout color does make a difference! Kimberly also answered our questions and provided helpful insights about the installation. Kimberly is knowledgeable, personable and it was so easy to share ideas with her. We highly recommend making an appt. with Kimberly. Also noteworthy is Omar who installed the tile in our kitchen and bathroom. He is meticulous and plans his work by laying out multiple tiles in the design that we specified. This ensured that the design and color of tile was confirmed by him and us. As Omar worked, he continuously measured and consulted with us to make minor adjustments to corners or angles. He was personable, very thorough and worked consistently during his scheduled days with us. All discarded tile material, boxes and debris were hauled away by Omar. No mess, just beautiful tile work left behind to admire by a skilled craftsman. Thank you, Kimberly! Thank you, Omar! Affordable Interiors is awesome!

It was a pleasure working with Caitlin. Even though my project was small I was treated like I was remodeling my whole house. Everything was done in a timely manner.

Affordable interiors came highly recommended to us so we chose them over another quote that was exactly the same price. Unfortunately, it turned out the quote that Nick, the owner, gave us was not accurate to what their subcontractor thought it should be. So, after I signed on the dotted line they raised it by 60%. I had already released the other contractor and would not be able to get him back in a timely manner. So after back and forth negotiations we met in the middle. The work was done beautifully, but I would not use them again, trust has been broken. (I would use the subcontractor!)

If the owner of a company gives you a quote, they should stand by that quote.

Caitlin and Kimberly were great to work with as we upgraded three bathrooms. Very professional installers and project was completed in a timely manner. Awesome company at great prices Highly Recommend !!

Affordable Interiors did a great job in helping us select cabinets, knobs/handles, and countertop. Carpenters did a wonderful job in redoing soffit. Then drywall was done perfectly. We are very satisfied with Adam and Nick at Affordable who coordinated everything.

Affordable Interiors was great to work with for electrical work to replace our gas stove with an induction range. They also did more tiling above the range and did some custom cabinet work that blends in well with our existing fixtures.

They were quick, friendly, well-priced and did excellent work. Can't ask for more than that! Would definitely use them again in the future.

Kim and the team did a fantastic job and everything was completed on time and in a mostsatisfactory manner! Great value for money and the design help was excellent! Highly recommend and will be returning for additional projects.

Please update your hours on google. We drove all the way to your store to find that it had closed at 2pm on a Saturday when your google business says 3pm.

Edit 4/3: I was open minded per the business’s response and came in to peruse. The product selection is great. I set up an in home appointment for measurements and a quote. I called and emailed when the person was 20min late. They responded indicating they didn’t put it in their calendar and wanted to reschedule. This was after multiple emails to align in schedules. Very unprofessional and disappointing. My rating remains unchanged.

Bre and Nick were a joy to work with. I’ve done some some small remodel projects, but this bathroom renovation was beyond my skills. They did the work quickly, correctly and always with a smile. Each tradesman that came to work on my house was courteous and an excellent craftsman. I would ask questions, they always answered honestly. I hope to use them again for a kitchen project.

We worked with Kim on our kitchen and floors. Kim was delightful to work with. She found the perfect backsplash and countertop for us. She was awesome at helping us with our floor stain color. She sent us updates and truly went above and beyond. We will be using Affordable Interiors for all of our future projects and will love to work with Kim again.

They did a new shower floor for me last year, which cost me $5000+. It started leaking again in a years time. Called them to follow up. Their plumber was suppose to come but never showed up. I tried calling and was told he was scheduled for next week. Which was a lie. What’s worst is their beyond rude attitude on the phone. Even if they made a mistake, nothing warrants speaking rudely to a customer. I have NEVER ever been spoken to so rudely before. I had to hang up the phone. I’ll take my business somewhere else. Save your money and stay away. They are THE WORST

Great company that is definitely true to their name. While they can be a bit messy during clean up the work is solid and we've already done a few home improvement projects with them.

Affordable Interiors did a top-notch hardwood flooring installation with very high quality materials. Very high attention to detail. I have future projects for which I plan to call on AI.

We just finished a small remodeling job with Affordable Interiors (we did some work to open up the space between our living room and kitchen). My husband and I are so pleased with the communication and work completed. Breanna, Nick, Dave, Alex - the team we worked with at various stages from start to finish, were all amazing. Out of the four businesses we talked with, they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We decided to go with the team due to responsiveness, level of detail, as well as price. You really get great quality work and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The project may not have been the most complex but they didn't make us feel silly for any questions asked or didn't hesitate to provide suggestions where we probably didn't have the best idea going into the project. They definitely did great quality work and finished everything under the estimated time quoted! They cleaned up after themselves really well which we really appreciated. We will definitely consider them for future interior remodeling projects and have already recommended them to a couple other friends looking to start home projects in the future. Thank you!

I hired Affordable Interiors for our master bath remodel, and could not be happier! Amber listened to what I wanted, and everything came out just as I had envisioned it. Every contractor that worked on this project was professional; you can tell they really care about their craft. Best of all, the overall price came out to be less than the estimated! I would definitely hire Affordable Interiors again for any other remodel we have in the future.

Our experience with Affordable Interiors started out well and quickly went downhill from there. We started planning our kitchen remodel project and signed the contract at the end of the summer to begin our project. We were told the cabinets would deliver by mid December and that we could go ahead and order our appliances and begin demolition. Shortly after, we were told the cabinet sizes needed to change and the cabinet delivery was pushed to beginning of January. so we had to cancel our appliance order and order a complete different selection. The cabinet delivery had not changed so we were told to move ahead with demo. We began demo the second week of December. The work continued to get delayed until end of January. Throughout those two months, we were without a kitchen and no work had been done. Our windows were supposed to be installed the beginning of January, which also got delayed. While all of the delays are happening, communication from affordable interiors staff had stopped and we could not get ahold of our contact person. Come to find out our designer was no longer working with the company. We finally got our cabinets delivered to find out that nobody was available to install them and so the cabinets were placed in every room of our living space until someone became available to move them. Once someone was finally available to install the cabinets, they realized they were missing a bunch of crucial pieces which then delayed our countertop install. We were then told those crucial pieces were backordered. During this time, we were told that incorrect measurements were given to the countertop installers so they had to come back out and remeasure to further delay the countertops. A few weeks later, our countertops were installed. During countertop installation, the installers chipped two of our brand new ceramic floor tiles and didn't pre-drill while installing the dishwasher bracket. Therefore, they cracked the brand new cabinet while drilling. They also incorrectly grouted the countertop joint around the sink, came to later fix it and it still isn't properly grouted. Then we were told our garbage disposal was never ordered and that our faucet was suddenly backordered. Once cabinets were installed, the cabinet crown moulding was a different color than the cabinets, someone had to come out and paint our brand new crown moulding to match the cabinets. After all that, we were contacted by affordable interiors 6 months later about a balance that was missed during our final invoice. Overall, the lack of organization, and communication has made this experience a nightmare. Thankfully, the tradesmen, Dave, Alex, and Victor are amazing at what they do and were the only positive part of this experience.

The responsiveness and professionalism of Amber in the office to visit our home and provide design and installation options was welcomed. The bathroom remodeling performed by Russ was quick and well done. All in all, it was pleasant and quite affordable. Highly recommended.

We needed a complete kitchen redesign because we removed walls and had a whole new space. We went to a few places for design ideas and Adam came up with a design we instantly loved. He stayed within budget and was great to work with. Adam was always easy to get a hold of with questions and was quick to make adjustments to our plan as needed. We had our own contractors (who said the cabinets were of great quality) that Adam worked with to make sure measurements were on par and even came to the house during cabinet installation to check in and see how things were going. It was overall a great experience and we plan on using Affordable Interiors for future projects!

Affordable Interiors just finished our basement, and we love it! Nick is great to work with—easy-going, accommodating, and quick to follow up on any questions or concerns. His crew created an exercise room with closets and shelves, a full bathroom, TV area, and a minibar with a tiled backsplash and floating shelves. Amber helped coordinate the work schedule and kept us informed of who was coming and what to expect. Best of all, they stayed true to their name. Despite increasing material costs, the whole project came in at a fair and affordable price.

Very good experience, professional, responsive, and under budget. I would recommend Affordable to anyone for their kitchen remodel or repairs.

Karen was very patient while we took months to decide on the right choices for our kitchen. She had some very good ideas which kept with our style and Budget. After hearing years of remodeling horror stories, I didn't know what to expect. Affordable Interiors kept on Budget and Schedule. They started the project on December 2nd and they even managed to work around the Holidays and came in on time. They did such a beautiful job that we are planning on using them for a future bathroom remodel.

Karen was fabulous!! She designed a beautiful kitchen that increased the functionality and flow while incorporating the features we wanted. We now have the kitchen we have always wanted!

Amber and team at Affordable Interiors were amazing throughout our entire project! We went in knowing what we didn’t like with our kitchen and Amber helped to design us a kitchen of our dreams that works perfectly in our space. Amber was always extremely responsive and attentive to our needs and questions. The communication throughout the entire project was outstanding. During renovation, Nick was always easy to reach and very helpful with any questions we had. The quality of work, from design to implementation, surpassed every expectation that we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better final product and will definitely look to use Affordabale Interiors again with any future projects.

Nick and his team did an excellent job on several projects at our home and another property we own. From the bathroom and kitchen tile work, to the remodeled staircase with beautiful wrought iron balusters designed by Nick to be perfectly visually balanced and safe, we have been very satisfied. He also removed a wood stove from our sunroom and coordinated all of the roof repairs and drywall work for the ceiling. I am looking forward to working with them again for future projects.

We just did our kitchen back splash and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. This place has a ton of selection to view in their show room which made it easy to decide what kind of tile to go with. Once we narrowed down the options, Amber ordered samples so that I could take them home to see in my kitchen. The install went great and the process was very painless and smooth. We had been talking about remodeling our kitchen for several years. We looked at many places and just didn’t feel comfortable until we met Nick. He showed us options we had not thought of, and he had all the various tradesmen needed to complete the job. It turned out better than we could have ever hoped. The process was easy and the quality is outstanding. We went from a 1980’s dated kitchen with very little storage and working space to a very contemporary kitchen with more cabinets than I can fill! (At the moment!).

We had our master bathroom completely redone and we are very pleased with the results. The quality of the work was great and Nick, the owner, was responsive when we called. We love our new bathroom!

My kitchen is beautiful. I have been working with Affordable interiors for several years. I have used them at my home and also at my business. Long before the store in Grayslake opened. All my projects have been done to perfection. They always get my vision. It usually turns out better then what I asked for. I won’t be able to enjoy the kitchen since I sold my place.
