Advancing Solar Solutions did an absolutely amazing job on my level 2 Tesla charger install. I'll be taking part in the AEP off-peak charging rebate ($16.3 cents/kWh to $11.6 cents/kWh) and they assisted me every step along the way.

Taylor Mills was my primary contact/installer and I cannot say more kind enough things about him. His communication, professionalism, and work ethic are outstanding and one of the best people/companies I've ever had the experience dealing with.

They also offer solar roof and non-solar roof options if you're interested in that as well.

Taylor and Chris designed and installed a system that met our goals. The installation process was very efficient with all members of the crew being very professional and ensured a clean work area was left each day. We have and will continue to recommend Advancing Solar Solutions to those considering solar installation. Should we decide to add to the system they will be our go to source.

Two years ago we committed to a ground mounted 13.2kw, PV installation and decided on a company in Ripley, WV: “Advanced Solar Solutions”. It was a gratifying experience to work with Taylor Mills and Chris Batton on this project and we highly recommend the company.

Advancing Solar Solutions did an excellent job working with us to understand our solar panel system requests and explain our options. Taylor Mills came in person to evaluate our electrical system in contrast to some installers that say "things found later will be add-on costs" after you’ve signed a contract. Taylor then designed and with Chris Batton and their team installed our 52 panel 20.5 kW roof-mount system with superb workmanship and attention to detail! We choose to install as many panels as would fit on the part of our roof that had good sun exposure. The system started up in late June 2023. At seven months, the system is performing great and very close to Taylor’s predictions. Their quote was the lowest because they don’t spend on advertising as their customers spread the word.

Before solar, our all-electric house averaged $440 electric monthly bills that kept rising with each APCO rate increase. Once the panels started up, we were exporting power to the grid and built up a large kWh credit that yielded four months of just a $14 connection charge until winter weather arrived when daily production dropped. Even then, the bills were substantially less and we expect by March-April to be back to those $14 bills, this time likely for 10+ months! Notable is that with temperatures in the 20’s-50’s, for the past four sunny February days, the system has produced 100% of the power needed to run our house. Less hours of solar radiation are compensated with better panel conversion efficiency at lower ambient temperatures and less heat pump usage. We’re working on energy efficiency improvements so that we can hopefully bring yearly usage down to what our solar system can produce, so we have $14 bills year-round!

Taylor was the only repair tech who would come check out my system. It took him 3 trips to get it repaired b/c of dealing with warranty but now everything works like new.

Above and beyond… I had a system installed 2 years ago from a nationally known company called Powerhome solutions (pink energy). Needless to say that company took our money and left us with a half finished job. When I was about to lose faith in it all a friend reccomend this local company Advancing Solar Solutions. They went above and beyond to help get my unit up and going. They also helped explain how it all worked and checked every nook and cranny of the whole system to ensure it is safe and operating correctly. They fixed countless install errors and loose connections. If it weren’t for them I don’t know what we’d done. A true God send. I know they put more hours into it than what was charged for. My only regret is that we didn’t have them install the system. It doesn’t always pay to go with the “big” guy with tons of reviews.

Taylor and Chris have done an amazing job on installing our 40 panel-16.6w solar array. After getting a few other quotes we decided to use Advancing Solar Solutions. The competitors were much more costly and very pushy. We are very happy with our choice!

Most informed, best customer service, respectful and hard-working. I heard from other contractors but these guys outperform them all. Don’t get caught up in fancy names or lots of advertising - listen to reviews from customers, and this customers says “you won’t go wrong with Advancing Solar Solutions!”

So glad we waited and got more than one opinion/estimate before installing solar. Taylor convinced me to go large, that we would not regret it...and it is true. They installed 40 420 watt panels on an adjustable ground mount array. The attention to detail on every aspect of the install is evident. Chris and Taylor care about the quality of their work, and use all quality, mostly American-made materials in their installation. We have no regrets! The money is well-spent, ticking off savings every day.
