This is the second time we have used Adanac Roofing Ltd. We have been very happy both times with the quality of work, the customer service and the staff. This time the roof was replaced on a home on 5 acres. Matt was the foreman and was on time, organized and had a well run crew. They did a great job of clean up as well. Cody, the owner is super easy to deal with and accommodating. I would not hesitate to use Adanac in the future and would highly recommend them.

So far roof has held up well! Working with Adanac was a breeze and Kurt was very patient and knowledgeable when I asked him about the different types of shingles. They did an efficient job and helped us with repair and reinforce a part without extra charge on plywood. Kurt was honest and fair in his recommendations and assessments. Adanac Roofing completed a complete roof replacement a week or so ago. Gary and his guys were quick, courteous, and very efficient. The end product is fantastic and has weathered a few rain storms already (being Vancouver, that was only to be expected :) ).

There are a few reason why this company has been around for so long. Fairness in price, professionalism, quality of work, and how they deal with problems that may arise. Cody and his team get an A+ on all those. You may get lower quotes for lower quality shingles, but I guarantee that in the unlikely event you need warranty work or something repaired in the future Adanac will still be in business. I recently hired Adanac Roofing for roofing services, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Despite receiving positive assurances initially, I found that communication became increasingly difficult after payment was made. The work promised was not completed as agreed upon, and attempts to resolve these issues or obtain clear answers were met with evasive responses or silence.

I feel misled by the numerous positive reviews, which now appear questionable based on my own negative experience. I strongly encourage potential customers to proceed with caution, thoroughly vetting this company before making any financial commitment. It's important that a company not only promises quality but also genuinely delivers it—and sadly, that was not my experience with Adanac Roofing.

We had our roof done a few years ago by Adanac. I should have written this review sooner, but I have never written a review and was hesitant to start. Thing is, over the years my husband and I have often brought up Adanac as a great example of customer service and finally I felt that I really should make a point of recognizing Adanac’s professionalism and the excellence of their work. I had my concrete tile roof and skylights replaced by Adanac Roofing in December. Kurt, the project manager answered all my questions and concerns patiently. Also he gave me a quote the next day. I decided to use Adanac because the good reviews on HomeStar and the quote was lower than others. Kurt came across trustworthy. The work was done in 3 days. The crew was professional. They removed the old heavy concrete tiles without any damage to the property. The shingle installation looks good and neat. The crew took time to clean up the gutters, decks, and side walks. I am happy to have used Adanac and would recommend them.
One important note Adanac does not require down payment before the work begins. Full payment within 14 days after the work is completed.

We started a Go Fund Me campaign to try and complete our renovation after our contractor stole our money and ran away. Don Marr of Adanac Roofing heard about our plight and offered his and his companies help. We thought Adanac was just doing the roof on the addition, but they generously offered to redo our whole roof.

Their crew was quick and highly professional and completed the whole job, cleaning up after themselves every day.

They temporarily patched up a fairly large hole until they were able to start the full roof replacement a few days later. The crew was on time everyday and the site was fully cleaned up at the end of each shift.

The site was cleaned daily. There was an issue with part of the roof. A video was taken, Kurt let us know and the situation was solved. Kurt was available for our questions and he did a final walk about when the work was done. The strata is satisfied with the work and highly recommend Adanac Roofing.

Kurt was friendly, polite and informative with tile options and estimates, providing details of the installation process. We appreciated that the company appeared to be committed to good customer service and client satisfaction; there was no pressure to make an immediate decision as we had told Kurt we were getting estimates. We decided to go with Adanac as their pricing was reasonable and competitive with other companies.

Frank (lead hand) + crew(2) were friendly, professional and completed the job in a couple of days leaving the site clean. Franks provided me with updates and answered any questions I had about the installation process. The garbage bin was picked up in a timely manner so that we could use the driveway. Kurt made arrangements after completion to pick up cheque payment at our convenience.

I found everyone at Adanac Roofing a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and would highly recommend them for your next re-roofing project ! We had our roof, hidden gutters and downspouts replaced on our house and shed in August . Cody was great in explaining everything that would be included , options , shingle samples and provided us with a competitive quote . Adanac Roofing & Gutters replaced my 30-year-old roof. It was very beautiful and we were very satisfied! Kurt was very patient in communicating with us. He explained everything from the selection of various materials to the construction process and other related issues. The price was reasonable. Due to the weather, we were unable to start the work since October last year. During this period, Kurt kept in touch with us and finally started the work on time in May this year. Installers JC and his crew worked very seriously and professionally. They started the work on time and cleaned up the construction site every day before they left. My roof is very steep and not easy to do, but they still completed it very well. They also replace all the rotten wooden boards in the house. They communicated some problems in time every day, so that we didn’t have to worry at all. I would strongly recommend Adanac Roofing & Gutters to all houses owners who need to replace the roof. They are absolutely trustworthy!

I had a reroof done. After asking a few companies for estimates I decided to go with Adanac Roofing since they had great reviews.
I used their website and requested an estimate for Enviro Shake shingle. I received a call from Kurt and he came with a sample of the Enviro Shake shingle. Installers JC and his crew came early and stayed late making sure they cleaned up every night before leaving the site. They also replaced my rotted facia boards as needed. I am very happy with the final product.

Adanac has recently installed my new roof and also the gutters. From the start, it was a good experience. In the middle of December, I noticed a leak on my roof. The weather continued to be horrible throughout January. Cody has submitted a professional quote and outlined all details. In the meantime, he has secured a section of my roof with a tarp to prevent further leak and damage. Once the weather has improved, his crew proceeded with installation. They worked efficiently and completed the project within the time specified in the quote. After completion, they cleaned the site from all debris. Shortly after, another crew did a great job installing new gutters. I am satisfied with Adanac performance, the quality and service provided, and do not hesitate to recommend their services.

I was very pleased with Adanac roofing. They use high quality materials like Malarkey shingles and their crew is very knowledgeable. I found out about them because they did my neighbor’s roof and he spoke very highly of them. I would highly recommend them and hire them again without hesitation.

Adanac did a great job replacing our roof and hidden gutters this past fall. The workers on site were very professional and kept the site safe and clean. They were quick to reply whenever we had questions or needed something to be revised.

4 stars instead of 5 because the final finishing details at the back of the house where the gutters meet the stucco weren't finished as neatly as the rest of the roof.

As an update to my original review, one morning recently, we had the outside pane of glass on the skylight installed by Adanac completely shatter! No idea why this happened, but we notified Cody at Adanac and he responded within about an hour. He had a crew come out to look at it the same day with a replacement skylight. Unfortunately, it wasn't the correct replacement, but they returned the following day and replaced with the correct skylight. No fuss, no pushback, no cost! So nice to have excellent service like this!

We were impressed with Cody and how organised he is with estimates using different roofing materials and being able to show samples so that we could choose the right quality and affordability. In addition to samples, Cody also had brochures from the manufacturers. He told us that it would be 6-8 weeks before he could send a roofing crew to our home, and the job was done within 6 weeks.
The crew was Wally and Dave, both of whom were well organised and polite to us and our neighbours. They kept the site clean all the time and left it absolutely clean when the job was finished. They promised that the bin would be removed the following day and that Cody would come by to collect the leftover material.
The roofing crew had to deal with a skylight that straddles the detached garage and the house; Wally and Dave did a great job in removing it and re-installing.
Cody did not ask for a deposit when we signed the contract with Adanac, and he came by a few days after the job was completed to pick up a cheque for the full amount. We appreciate that there is trusting relationship with the customer.

Our Craftsman cedar shake house with separate garage was showing its age and it was time to replace the roof. After reaching out to a few roofing companies I quickly realized cedar shake was going to be too expensive. We wanted to preserve the look of the cedar shakes so picking the correct style was important. Kurt Livingstone from Adanac came by to look at the house and give us a quote. He explained that his company used its own in house work force and they all worked for the company for years and did excellent work. A few days later I received a detailed quote with a few options and recommendations on type of shingle and colour to best replace the look of cedar shake. We decided to go with Adanac.

The job took 9 days to complete, surprising given other companies quoted 2 weeks or longer. The quality and craftsmanship was excellent and the crew were hard working and made sure to clean up and bin all debris every day. We are very happy with the finished result and have already recommend Adanac to one of our neighbour's.

Couldn't be happier with our new roof and the service we got from Adanac Roofing. Can't recommend them enough! Our 3 store home gets quite hot on the top level despite having central A/C. The new vents they placed have made a huge difference which was a nice side effect that I wasn't expecting from a new roof installation. Thank you!
