Me an my father blew two dually tires just west of Gallup, NM on our motorhome while traveling from Az. to Tx. My dad has "RV Plus" coverage with AAA so we called and as many of you know that was absolutely useless (what a scam). We were on a tight schedule and since not one AAA vendor could tow our RV to the closest tire shop in town, nor does AAA work with any mobile mechanic vendors we were stuck on the side of the highway. I got on my phone and started calling any mechanic service in the area I could find. After many being unable to help us I finally came across ACE Truck Service. They were able to get a guy out to us quickly, remove the blown tires and wheels, find available tires at a shop in town, go back to town to have new ones mounted, then return and put them on the RV. Obviously our trip ran behind schedule regardless of how the situation was handled, but ACE didn't hesitate to to say "yes we can help you" when I called them, or nit pick the situation and location of the job deciding they just didn't want to deal with the inconvenience. Their mechanic that came out ran into a couple minor issues, but didn't complain or give up on getting us back on the road. After the repair was complete we went by their shop to pay and met the owner who stayed late to make sure all was good. This company takes pride in the work it delivers. Excellent customer service. Was here to buy a mud flap for semi-truck. They haven't had my size, but offered to cut custom size from universal fit mud flap. Literally they saved my day. I'm highly recommend this place.

It's one of the best places to fix ur truck. I got low def light on there is def more then 3 quarter, ecr light and derate my truck. So many mechanics told me I need a new doger pump and doger injector. I spent so much money and time, and Ace mechanics told me I needed software to update. Owner and staff very courteous and knowledgeable. Motorhome was cutting out. We thought it was transmission. Staff did diagnostics and found to be clogged fuel filter. Traveling home to Oklahoma. Was in and out in about 90 minutes. Definitely 5 stars!

They towed my truck and when we arrived my tire was flat and the driver was very rude, and bring my truck here on Friday, they give me my truck on Monday and told me when can’t fix it go to dealer ship, and charge me 601$ without fixing my problem just for diagnosed

Jasper and his crew are absolutely amazing and thorough. They specialize in wiring issues and tracked down our clutch fan motor wiring issue in less than 30 minutes. That's like finding a needle in a haystack folks. I cannot recommend them enough. Also, they have the cleanest, most organized shop you will ever see. These guys are so professional. BRAVO Jasper and company. You saved us. You will never know how much we appreciate your hard work and amazing knowledge.

Traveling cross country with my young son and the front airbags went on my rv. I limped to their shop. They took me right in and quickly got on the repair. They didn't have the parts but were able to get them couriered from 2 1/2 hours away. I got there on a Friday at 9:00 am and we were back on the road by 3:30. They also gave the rv a good look over and found and repaired a gas leak while it was there. I chose them because I read the great reviews. I am happy to leave them another. I made it back to New York with no issues. Thanks guys for saving my trip.

I got the airbag blow at my trailer. Mechanic and stuff was very friendly. They fix the problem and also some others issue fixed. Thanks for all.

In May of 2024 we were in Gallup New Mexico thousands of miles from home when one of the wheels on our the camping trailer started locking up badly. I contacted Ace Trucking spoke to Colt and explained our situation. He told me he would be able to have his technician look at our camper that morning and I hobbled into their yard.
Colt took no time in getting us pulled up to the rear of the shop where Craig jacked up the trailer, pulled the wheel off and discovered that the entire back plate and brake assembly was covered in grease, which was the reason for the lockup. Colt placed an order for a new back plate.
In about three hours from my initial phone call they were able to diagnose, pick up a new back plate assembly, install said assembly, repack and adjust the bearings, adjust the brake and have us back on the road.
Thank you to Colt and Craig for fitting in complete strangers and getting us back up and running promptly and safely. Your kindness saved our trip.

Excellent experience. Motorhome broke down and had to be towed in. We arrived after hours but they ran an extension cord thru the fence so we could run the refrigerator! Next morning we were in the bay by 7:15. Broken water pump and serpentine belt installed and we were on the road again by 3PM. THANKS

Needed a rear end pinion seal that was leaking gear oil replaced. They got my truck repaired within just a few hours and me back on the road. Definitely recommended for semi truck repairs!

We had a coolant leak in our motorhome that initially looked like a leaking transmission cooler. Upon closer examination the tech determined that the leak was from a tiny chip in the top of the coolant tank where it mates with the cap. The coolant dripped down a couple hoses onto the cooler giving the false impression that the cooler was leaking. The chip was sanded away and we were on our way.

Everyone was helpful and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.

If you are in dire need of a truck service for your RV, this is the place to go! My husband and I are on our road trip from Ohio to California and we noticed at our last stop that our serpentine belt needed replaced, called Ace and they told us to bring it on down! They got us right in and out in an hour tops! Absolutely amazing service! Thank you guys so much for such an amazing job!

Had my Kenworth towed in there for a fuel issue. They told me my fuel pump was bad.. So hey Mr big shot, if you are saying that the fuel filter is always the first thing to check, why were you trying to tell me my pump was bad. Take your own advice. Always easier to blame someone else. I don't think you have a perfect shop . Have a super day, collect all the cash you can.

Had an emissions problem on Sunday in Gallup NM. Found Ace truck service. Monday I went there for help. What a great shop. Told the boss my situation he and his employees obtained needed info from me and they went to work. Less then 3 hrs I was out the door, repaired. These folks care and are reasonable. I strongly recommend. Good business that understands customer satisfaction. ACE is the PLACE

Had a major breakdown with my Peterbilt. They got me in right away and diagnosed the problem. Very professional all the way through

We were traveling through Gallup needed brakes worked on. We called Ace Truck repair first thing in the morning. They got us in as soon as they opened. Had it done in two hours and on our way! Every person there was amazing, helpful best customer service ever. Thank you, Ace Truck Repair!

If you got semi I don’t recommend cuz they don’t know how to fix the problem for only RV’s they migh be good at it
You was straight telling me to send my truck part to Albuquerque and get it checked there if still doesn’t work we can’t do anything please be professional don’t try to ripp people off cuz you guys not gonna last longer business if you you guys can’t do it just say it straight thanks

incredibly mean and greedy shop.
My truck showed a SCR fault and derated. I called this shop they told me they can check it next morning so my driver stayed over night. Then early Friday morning he was at this shop. After diagnosing they told me that the truck needs a def pump and they gave me a repair estimate of $3600. But they have to order the part and wouldn’t have it until Tuesday. I called my other driver who was coming from Albuquerque to pickup part from the Kenworth dealer and after that I called this shop informing them that I got the part and my driver will dropping part off in 2 hours. They told me they can’t use the customer part even though they ordered the part from the same dealer. I have crucial time sensitive freight and didn’t have the ability to wait so I asked this shop to release my truck and I can take it to a different shop. They charged me $481 to just diagnose the truck. I paid and then they told me that they are on lunch break at 11 am and won’t be back until 2 pm and can’t release truck until then. This was purposeful harassment and a complete waste of time so that I would be able to get to the other shop in time.
I sent my truck to the other truck repair shop and they diagnosed and recommend me to change def filter and they fix truck in one hour and they charged me $190 only.
Be careful these scammers.

We got a check engine light on our Freightliner Cascadia 45 miles west of Gallup NM. Loves could not get us in and they gave me the number for Ace Truck Repair right down from Loves on Hwy 66. They got us in right away, read the codes and confirmed with us prior to doing any work. An hour later we are on the road! The guys worked thru their lunchtime. Definitely recommend Ace Truck if you want, great, friendly service!

Unproffesional , plus charged me 1hr 30 minutes labour on a brake chamber was hardly 25 mnts job. Watch out guys they are there to rip u off i was watching the truck from outside they started on my truck after an hour once the truck was inside!! Avoid going to these people . 443 dollars for a brake chamber totally insane. Stay away people

This is a good place to go for repair. I have a MotorHome, the automatic stairs came out and wouldn’t go back in. I came in before they closed but they.showed me where I could park for the night and took care of me first thing in the morning, I was able to get back on my trip. Thank you Ace guys!

When the rearend on my 26 year old RV got loud while traveling, I stopped at Ace. They looked at it the same day, diagnosed it & let me know what was causing it. They could not find a replacement Differential so they ordered one made. It was delivered a week later & installed. The bearings needed to be replaced as well & they sourced them over night & immediately got them installed. Overall, they were knowledgeable, timely, accommodating & honest.
They do need to work on the timeliness of their communications & giving more information. "Its not done yet" or "we're working on it" needs to be followed with what is causing the delay...
They did not treat me like a dumb female, they were honest & upfront and the prices were fair for all the services received.

Had a starter issue, they got me up and going way cheaper than the dealership Went over a little more than I was Quoted Only took five hours to replace it

Ace Truck Service greatly helped me out when my car hauler lost its brakes connection to my truck and my 5th wheel hooked to my other truck lost all brake, signal, and turning lights. Ace got me right in. AJ and Lional even stayed after operating hours to fix my problems, so I could get back on the road ASAP. They were very thorough and knowledgeable about fixing my issues on both rigs. Thank you ACE!!!

Put it this way anyone will not find a better truck repair than ace they got me out of pickel treated me like a real person with a problem and the problem became there's they fixed it and had me back on the road in 2days they are true professionals who take care and treat you right also the price was quite fair if I am having to look for a shop it will be ace Henry LaCroix. A few days ago I was here because my truck broke down with a broken 13 speed manual transmission, it was under a warranty with Weller Truck Parts. The options Ace had was to open the transmission and repair with new parts that would be sent from Weller or buy a brand new one under warranty from Weller. I asked Ace if they had any in stock and they told me they didn't, I also asked if they could find me one to purchase and they spent a whole day to not find one. I decided to buy one from Weller and I was punished from it because they made me wait a line because I bought a product that wasn't there's. In no time I was told by them that it was mandatory to buy 'ONLY" there parts. The truck spent 8 days in there and only 2 days were used to actually go under and fix the truck, they were super abusive with the price and the truck left with a malfunctioning speedometer, temperature sensor, cruise control and RPM's. These mechanics are not the best in any which way and I would hope you find another place, these people have the laziest attitudes ever. In 39 years this is worst experience and worst shop to bring your truck.

An axle failed on our travel trailer on the I-40 west of Gallup and Ace came to the rescue! The guys helped us limp into town and got us a new fabricated axle in less than 72 hours we were on the road again. You guys are great!

My new to me motorcoach was supposedly serviced and inspected in Arizona before my trip to Minnesota. Had a very hard shimmy in front end. Stopped in Holbrook to find out my brand new steer tires were out of round. Two new tires and it was marginal at best. Limped my way to Ace in Gallup. Found my wheel bearings were bad. Replaced next day and took for a test drive. 1000 times better but still a slight shake to the steering wheel. They told me could be an alignment problem but theirs was broke. I'll head to Albuquerque and see if I can get one there. CANNOT thank this crew enough for looking into and for the most part fixing my RV enough so I could safely operate it. If I ever need something done and I'm in the area I will use Ace again. Great people,great prices, over and above service. If I could I'd leave them a million stars.

We had electrical and cooling issues in an A class RV coming into Gallop.
They got our information and did the research on the Vin number before we got to town about closing time.
Went to a campground for the night and was at their gate when they opened the next day. Put us right in and did a radiator drain clean and fill, as well as diagnosed and replaced the alternator.
Back on I-40 at noon.
Pleasant people who know what they do, and fair up-front prices.

Driving our F- 350 from AZ to Tennessee and had a problem with the diesel. Jasper and crew did a wonderful, prompt job and got us back on the road. I wish there were more shops of this caliber around today!! I highly recommend Ace Truck Service!!!

We were telling a 35 ft fifth wheel when our truck decided not to work properly, I called Ace Truck Service and they were more than willing to look at the truck very quickly. They offered to see it that evening but it was almost 5:00 and told them I could not get there before they close. They saw us the first thing the following morning at 8:00 a.m. diagnosed the problem and sent us to another shop to have it repaired because they did not work on Transmissions. They were extremely polite and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

We called on a Thursday evening right before they close with vehicle problems and they said they could check it out the next morning first thing. They checked our truck but decided they could not fix it. They gave us recommendations on where we could take it to get it repaired. They were very nice and professional and definitely would recommend them to others.

The unfortunate thing of having a 16 year old motorhome is repairs are to be expected. That being said, to have the radiator go bad many miles from home is scary…Ace Truck Service in Gallup, NM came to the rescue! Ace was able to source parts, and replace in TWO DAYS! The price was more than fair, and the installation was perfect. We had to put up one night in a hotel and we’re back on the road. Special thanks to Erwin, Jasper, and A.J. - even surprised us we cups and hat before we left!

AJ and Jasper there are 2 of the nicest guys I know. Our truck broke Down They got on it they changed our transmission they found a great price for transmission. They went out of their way to make sure that we were talking care of I couldn't say anymore great things cause these guys are great you have any problems you look up AJ and Jasper they will take care of you

This is our second time stopping on our way home from AZ to get our RV worked on. Great service, friendly workers. AJ and Jasper really know their stuff, the mechanics are very knowledgeable. We will stop again.

We had a engine problem with our new 2023 Tiffin allegro bus. The guys at Ace were able to find the problem quickly and fixed it without a problem. They got us on our way and were reasonable on the charge. They were very professional and courteous. I would recommend them highly.

Great service friendly people good prices. Had the size tire I needed at a decent price. About half what the name brand truck stop shop wanted for one. Got me in fairly quickly was done quickly. Only down thing I have to say is their credit card machine was out of order but they take EFS or Comdata. They were nice enough to run me to an atm to get cash to pay for the service. Thanks again guys!

Pulled in my Motorhome with check engine light on and sluggish issues. They worked me right in with no wait and fixed the issue and had us safely back on the road. Great place.

Replaced oil return tube gasket on turbo, metal oil return gasket, brake cleaner, labor R&R gasket… all in a hour or less.We got here in the morning early and stayed at truck stop cross the street one night and they helped us get back on the road.

Great shop got me in fast diagnosed the problem fast. Just had to wait on parts. But Great job highly recommend this shop. Thanks again
