Ace Hardware Fairbanks

They have a great selection of high-quality tools. The prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected and I don’t mind. The problem is everything on the shelf has a safety lock on it, you can’t pick anything up. You have to find someone to unlock it for you. It feels like I’m shopping in the ghetto, and I find it offensive.

I like Ace Hardware as a store, so naturally, I rated them 5 stars. I'm glad they have one in Fairbanks now. They don't have everything, but they do have a good selection of products for almost every type of trade you could think of.

All 3 employees asked if I needed help as I looked around. Visited the store 3 times so far. Nice customer service. It’s my new favorite place for hardware. They have a great selection of stainless steel screws and much more.

Bought some pretty expensive pliers (around to $25-$27) to cut and tie the rebar wire in June. Looked solid, confortable to hold and all made in the USA label. After cutting two spools of the wire in two months, some dents appeared on the cutting edge. Cutting became a bit of the hassle... Fast forward to September. Came to the store and talked to the manager... hi, could you please exchange the faulty pliers, they were not abused, I was just cutting soft rebar wires... No, sir, we cannot do that... you purchased them more than 30 days ago, nothing we can do to help you. Me: please, take the pliers back, don't need the broken ones, and farewell.

Sour feelings about the store. It is pretty conveniently located, but cannot rely on the instruments they sell. Exchange or warranty is too short. Need to shop somewhere else for reliable tools.

Awesome store. One of the best selections in all of the USA.

If I could give no stars I would ! Couldn’t even walk into Ace with out the older guy following you up and down each and every aisle up your A$$ like your gonna steal and when u say something he just treats you like the next thief that just walked in ?!?! Yea I’m good I’m not gonna spend my $ where I get treated like a thief and when u say that your uncomfortable and just going to leave all he says is “ good by go ahead and post it on fb ! “

Ace is the spot for your Traeger pellet needs and requirements. They got all that other Traeger gear and those accessories. They even have sauces and rubs and stuff.

I've been in this store a few times since I noticed in the summer of 23. The employees are always super helpful, and they have a lot of varied merchandise. I enjoy shopping at this Ace Harware store.

Customer service is excellent! They seem fully staffed. We were greeted by every employee, and they were all very knowledgeable. Special shout out to the gentleman working the paint counter this morning. We will be back to buy paint from Ace because of our experience with him.

Great new store! We have been in here twice since they opened June 14 and the staff have been learning what is where. They know where almost everything is and are eager to help you. We came in with a diverse shopping list and were able to buy it all.

Note to mapping people - You can only turn right onto Sportsman from the driveway. Sportsman changes name to Old Airport. Map sends you down to Karen and down Karen 600' to make a U-Turn, back to old Airport and then to Sportsman.
Suggestion - Direct people along the back of the building to the next driveway and turn left onto old Airport.
