Mile from Ace Handyman was very prompt on his arrival, very friendly, and very knowledgeable with the approach to tackle the job (shutter replacement). Provided recommendations to reduce maintenance needs in the long run and was very efficient. Definitely hope to ask the team to help with future home repair work.

Michael was on time, professional and friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. He knocked out almost all of my handyman to-do list items and gave me a clearer understanding of what would be involved with the other items on my list. I will definitely use this service again.

This was my 2nd experience with the Service. I asked for the same tech, Michael L. , based upon my very positive experience last Fall (toilet valve replacements). This visit was for a clogged sink that defied draino and a difficult under cabinent plumbing access. No problem for Michael. Allowed time to plan another job for future. Also wish to compliment the phone scheduling and online arrival updates.

Jimmy C did a great job mounting my TV. He was very professional and personable. It took under an hour to mount the TV so Jimmy asked what else he could do for the remainder time. He completed two other small tasks. I would definitely use him again.

Charles did a fantastic job. He took the time to make sure the paint color for the front door was correct. He also used the right weatherstripping to eliminate any light from showing through the door. The work was done very professionally. I now have a front door that practically looks brand new. I couldn't be more pleased.

They did the work, although it was after rescheduling and hour an a half later than planned with only a few days notice.
Have to be honest, I was disappointed.
After two trips for supplies they only finished about half the tasks I'd asked them to do, even though they claimed several times 6 hours was enough time to do it all. The touch up painting he did wasn't even complete, there were still chips and scratches he missed, and paint spots left on the floors.
I don't think I'll be calling back, paying $143 an hour plus fees (which were not fully explained and didn't seem justified after what I mentioned), for half finished work.

This young man is a GEM! On the job, start to finish… quickly and efficiently — KUDOS.
Will not fail to call on him for future electrical needs.

I called Ace Handyman Services to replace a bathroom door. Jimmy C. was mt craftsman and I couldn't of been more satisfied with him. He was honest and upfront with the quote, picked up my order and painted and installed quickly and professionally. I would hire again.

Jimmy C. came out to our home in Crownsville to install lifts in our garage for a very large ladder and two bicycles. His work was top notch and he had very helpful suggestions for more garage storage solutions for us. Looking forward to working with him again.

Craftsman Sherif did an excellent job! He installed a grab bar in the bathroom, repaired a window shade and applied caulk in the kitchen, front porch and garage. His work was timely, precise, and thorough. In addition. He was very polite and neat. I will be sure to ask for him for future remodeling projects!

Sherif from Ace Handyman Services came out today to discuss my basement bathroom improvements/mini remodel. He was informative and a joy to work with. He had ideas for improvements that were great and just what I really wanted but didn’t know how to ask for that fix. He didn’t try to upsell for the whole shower which was in good shape. He just gave the fix for the shower floor which needs help. Great experience!

Jimmy C. is absolutely the best! I've been a customer of Ace Handy Services from when it was Handyman Matters, before the acquisition by Ace Hardware. Their experienced techs have always been good, but Jimmy is excellent! He's knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and provides excellent ideas for making your house into YOUR home. I appreciate working with Jimmy (I've had 2 appointments this week) and look forward to working with him more (hopefully next week for a few projects).
I will completely understand if you book Jimmy C. as well, although it will limit his availability for my projects. You need a Jimmy C. on your home team!

I had my shed roof partially replaced/re-shingled. No more leaks!!!

I've had the pleasure of working with Ace Handyman Services in Laurel a few times now and thought I would write a review. Mike came out to help me on fixing a leaking window on our ground floor. Mike identified the issue, and while he was not able to provide a longterm solution, he gave a recommendation going forward (gonna need a new deck replacement).

Robert came out to the house to seal a space between our sliding glass door and linoleum flooring. Robert went out to the hardware store, grabbed the materials and fixed our issue in under two hours.

Alex and Amber are professional on the phone as dispatchers for the team. Everyone has been a pleasure to work with.

Ace charges a flat rate for time and materials so they seem to be good for small things around the house that you need patched up.

Jimmy arrived early! he was very polite, and informative. Took the time to explain everything thoroughly and offered several options regarding the repairs with positive and negative of all options. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Jimmy.

Day 2: Jimmy and Mike both did a wonderful job with my condo's repairs! I greatly appreciated their patience with the multiple things that needed done and their professionalism. They also went above-and-beyond by picking up my new front door from the hardware store and installing that for me. I definitely recommend Jimmy and Mike for any work you need done to your home!

Robert arrived right on time and did a great job making the necessary repairs. He was polite, respectful, and courteous. He made sure to clean up after making his repairs, not leaving any debris that my one year old son might get involved with. Shoutout to Alex for coordinating with Robert and me.

I wish I could give 10/10 stars for customer service because I felt like I was being a pain and everyone I worked with and talked to totally out me at ease. I had a bedroom door installed and needed some help selecting the right service I'd need as well as the supplies. I was able to talk to the managers multiple times to help sort out what I needed to buy and she also contacted the craftsman to ensure I bought the right supplies. Jimmy T was our craftsman and he was the friendliest person we've had over to do work possibly ever. We chatted about my farm and animals in between all his work and he even completed more quickly than expected. And he did a really great job - I understand why his title is "craftsman." We will definitely be hiring Ace Handyman services of Laurel again and requesting Jimmy!

Jimmy T. installed an over the range microwave for me today and was fantastic! He arrived early and was very skilled and professional. He even set the clock on the microwave for me before leaving! I will definitely be calling Ace Handyman for future projects very soon.

Ace has done a great job both referring other vendors (for work they thought world be better to refer) and with sending excellent craftsmen -- Jimmy who came by recently did great work, left advice and references for other work, and completed everything in half the quoted time. We will definitely use Ace Handyman Services again and we'll ask for Jimmy.

I requested 2 recliners moved from one floor to another floor and hang several pictures. I still had time on the clock. Jimmy and Micheal noticed my new 65” tv still in the box and agreed to take it out and place on the credenza. I still had some time left, so they took a look at my stereo component set, there was no sound coming from the speakers. They found the A channel is blown, hooked the speakers into B channel, problem solved!! I can now play my records, cassettes and cd’s!!! Thanks a million Jimmy and Michael

This is my first experience with Ace Handyman Services. I had the pleasure of working with Mike, who provided excellent work. He arrived on time, analyzed our needs and got to it. We needed a rotting outside door frame replaced, as well some minor corrections made to electrical outlets. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and friendly, professional approach of Mike. I highly recommend their services, and will definitely use them again.

Michael took care of all my chores quickly and easily. Well worth the cost and greatly appreciated attention to detail and accuracy of the work.
