The entire experience was awesome! I used Accent to fix a leaking roof in my master bedroom.  Mike came out within 20 minutes and looked it over, told me exactly what was wrong and exactly what he would have to do and quoted me for it. He was honest and to the point. With impending weather and his current schedule, he said he would be able to get to it within the week. He gave me ideas on how to bandaid the leak until he could get to it. He stayed in contact with me and let me know the exact day and time he would be there. He arrived early and immediately got to work. He kept me informed during the whole process using pictures while he was on the roof. He process only took about 3 hours including a supply run which he informed me he was going to have to do. Overall, I can't say enough how great of a job he and Joe did. I would and will definitely recommend Accent to anybody needing home improvements or repairs.

I'm a landlord who lives in another state with rentals in norfolk. When I contacted Michael about work I needed done he was extremely punctual and professional. He sent me pictures of the completed work and I was able to pay him remotely. Will definitely be using him again for future projects!

Michael came out and gave me a very good price for my repairs,he came out and fixed everything in a timely manor,he told me everything that was going on and kept in contact with me until the job was completed. Mike has helped me out twice with home repairs. First, a few months back with a leaky roof. Was here within a day and had it fixed in no time. Second time was today. Had some voltage drops intermittently. Was here same day, changed out some bad breakers and haven't had an issue since. On top of being quick and professional, he is transparent with his prices! You won't find service at this price anywhere else!

My water heater died last weekend and Mike hooked me up with Joe. Joe came out that afternoon and installed a water heater that same night! Even let him me help and explained everything that he was doing. I have an older house so it was a challenging install, but he still got it done all for under $1000.

Mike responded within minutes to our request for an estimate. I sent pictures of our roof damage and he was able to quote me via text. We had damage from TS Michael and needed some siding repaired/shingles replaced. The damage ended up being more in person so his quote only went up by $50 from the original - which was super reasonable. We just had to pick up the shingles and basically pay for labor. He came out to perform the work the next morning - super responsive. He said he's been doing work for more than 30 years and we felt his level of experience/professionalism the entire time. I had a limb put a hole about the size of my fist in my roof over the garage this weekend. I called Mike this mourning and he was their within 30 mins. He fixed the hole, cleaned up the debris that was on my house and was finished within an hour. He did an excellent job and just seems to be a really down-to-earth guy. If I need some more work done around the house I will be giving him a call.

I hired mike to repair my sliding door which was leaking. He came looked at the door found out what the problem was and fixed it and now there is no leak. Great guy and would definatley recommend him to anybody.

I spoke to this gentleman on the phone. I wanted an estimate on my siding. I wanted him to come out and view the siding so that he could give me an appropriate estimate. He began to speak to me in a very aggressive Manner and was just outright rude for a business person. He wanted me to get pictures and send it to him and told me that I was providing a service to him as well. He proceeded to say if I want him to get into his car and his gas he's going to charge me 20 bucks. Actually I would have paid the money for him to come out had he been polite and acted like a professional. It is such a shame that good customer service has just gone out the window in these days.

We had mike come out to the house today to fix two window sills that were rotting. He finished the job quickly and cleaned up his mess after which we really appreciated. He was also able to find a better, cheaper fix for one of the windows and was straight forward with us about it giving us a discount on the total cost of the job. If we ever need work done on the house again he will be our first call.

I hired Mike for a lot of Drywall repairs. He did a great job patching up holes large and small. After priming and painting you can't even tell there was any damage, just professional work all around. The job proved to be a larger than either of us expected and when the project went beyond the estimated completion time he offered to pay for Dog Daycare for those extra days which I felt was generous of him. Instead I asked him to replace a Garbage Disposal that I've been meaning to replace but hadn't yet. He was happy to do it and shows he goes beyond the contract to do a good job.

He always answered the phone. He kept me updated on the job through text messages while I was at work. He checked up a few days after the work was complete to see if I was satisfied with his work after I had painted.

Michael Green was the contractor hired for our Sheetrock repair. He quoted a fair price from the start. As he walked around the house he found additional points of concern and fixed them as well with no additional costs. His work is of good quality and I would recommend him to friends and family.
One lasting touch, was his request to adjust our front door,as it was catching on the top left portion. He fixes it says thanks for the opportunity for business and leaves the job site.

I would not recommend using this contractor for any repairs, I would give zero stars if possible. I recently hired this company to repair some broken pieces of siding on my home. Mike (the owner) came out and did a horrible job. He left pieces cracked, cut and crooked, it was a disaster. Anyone would be able to tell the job was not done correctly. When I inspected his work and informed him that there were pieces that needed to be corrected, Mike got very angry. He was extremely unprofessional and downright disrespectful to both me and my wife. In the end, Mike got paid in full and we still have to hire and pay someone else to fix all of the areas Mike did not fix correctly.

Trust me, you do NOT want to deal with Accent Home Improvements. ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

Mike came out to my house about two weeks ago to take a look at a leak I've had on the first floor section of my roof. He provided me a reasonable quote and made the repair on the spot. Two weeks later, no leaking observed! What I liked most was that he explained everything that he was doing and even showed me the suspected area causing the leak. He was very knowledgeable and I will definitely do business with him again. Thanks Mike!

Mike with Accent Home Improvements & Repairs was great! We had a large section of shingles that came off during a storm and noticed it right before we were supposed to have another line of storms come through. We were concerned about water damage with the impending storms, but were struggling to find anyone willing or able to come out quickly to repair before the next round of storms started. Without even having to express our concerns, Mike offered to come out early the next morning to repair the roof before the storms started to avoid us having any issues with water damage. He was very professional & went out of his way to make sure the shingles matched & blended in with the existing roof. I would highly recommend him & will be keeping his information handy for any future needs we may have.

I called Accent Home Repairs to ask for an estimate repair of roof leak. We set up an appt for estimate and gave me a really good price. Mike even gave me a combo deal for 2 repairs and 1 pressure washing. All in all i was really happy with the work they did. I will definitely be calling them again for home repairs and maybe renovations in the future. I highly recommend them in Va Beach area.

I had soffit repair that was rotting and looked a terrible mess. I called one handyman who promised to do it within two days but never returned. I took a chance and decided to call Mike Green, based on his reviews and honest face. He came out early in the morning to give me a great estimate and went to work, immediately. Mike has done a lot of work for me over the years. Installing windows, building fences, pressure washing and other odd jobs. He has always done great work and I will use him again & again.

Highly recommend these guys!!!! I called to have my back patio door changed out and they were available immediately. The next day, they were there installing my new door. Even with the issues that occurred with the old and new door, they were fast and efficient. Mike did an excellent job installing our son's kitchen cabinets earlier this week. He is very dependable and does great work.

Mike Green did a very fine job for us. He was highly responsive to our needs for a set of small repair jobs, including getting an exterior door to align properly, reattaching a bathroom towel rod that was falling down, and installing three light fixtures (two indoor and one outdoor). I especially appreciated his willing to come out to our home and look at all of the jobs that needed to be done; giving us a price quote based on the work (and not by-the-hour); and then giving us a list of things we needed to go and buy. Once I had purchases the needed items at the hardware store, I set up an appointment for him to come and get the work done. We already have plans for other work he will be doing for us in the springtime.
