John was an incredible contractor for a significant renovation of a home I purchased. This was my first renovation, and I was very nervous about selecting a contractor, especially on a tight budget. Immediately during the initial meeting of information gathering for a quote, John noticed some key potential issues that others had missed. Those ended up being some of the most significant work. His prices were very on par with what I anticipated and had researched, and he worked hard to help me stay within my budget. As a few high ticket costs came up (like electric), he worked with me to evaluate where I may be able to change or cut work to stay in budget. He was also honest about a few items he didn't feel would add value, which I appreciated greatly. Most additions to the work were actual safety and security items, and I genuinely felt like John was looking at the longevity of his work as if he would live in the house himself. I can't imagine someone to trust more with this process. Everything he did was top quality, as was all of the work done by the subcontractors with whom he partners. The house turned out beautifully. I feel very lucky to have found John for such a big and important investment, and I can't recommend A1 Contractors enough!

We had a piece of siding fall off during a storm. When I texted A1, they got back to me within minutes. Like most contractors, they’re very busy. But they remembered me and texted me back on a day they could come fix it up! I’m very happy and have recommended them to friends.
