A Step Above Roofing

Don’t recommend this company.
Jordan Wynn came out for a roof/chimney leak detection. I told him I’d already had flashing replaced twice and wanted an opinion. He was confident he knew what it was and when I told him I was skeptical paying out more money he guranteed the fix. They sealed up and went on their way. I called him back up to 5 times because it wasn’t fixed. At the end he claimed I had multiple leaks and they fixed the ones they saw. There was no multiple leaks ever. So they took my money and patched up everything with commercial grade stuff that just made the roof ugly and still fixed nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this company. Don’t gurantee if you aren’t going to follow through. A gurantee is a gurantee

Your response is not correct. He did guarantee it and he told me he would not want to charge me anymore money when we don’t need to. You might want to talk to your workers about this. I’ve never once heard or spoke to you as the owner I only dealt with Jordan. If you don’t guarantee you might want to tell him to not guarantee the work. He never once gave me any price on tearing into the siding. I never received any other price besides the one I paid. Now you’re saying gutters? My gutters are less than 5 years old and free of any debris. Your guys also said my roof had no issues. Sounds like you need to train your guys better. I hate to bash your company but or you but would’ve been nice to maybe have another eye after the second or 3rd time they came out. Shouldn’t it be a concern they even had to come out this much? Someone’s Word only goes so far lesson learned! Don’t use this company

From the initial inspection through post completion inspection they were professional, courteous, friendly, and timely! My new roof is beautiful and no longer leaks. I highly recommend this company and plan to have them back this fall for some siding and window replacement.

Jordan and the team did an excellent job of replacing shingles on my roof after a wind storm. Other businesses don’t do “repairs” just replacements and A Step Above did not make me feel that my job was too little or not worth their time. After the hailstorm last September, I met Mike with A Step Above Roofing. He came to my house after I got off work, assessing the damage. We later made an appointment to talk about specifics. We started our experience with Casey. Casey was kind, professional, and walked us through every single step. He broke down the process from what to expect, to insurance, the finances, and everything in between. Kara was stellar with communication and keeping the line open between all of us and insurance. I was extremely satisfied with A Step Above Roofing & Construction’s work on my roof replacement. I have never filed an insurance claim or had a roof replaced so this was all new to me. Even though Steve was fairly new he was prompt, professional, and clearly explained every step of the process from start to finish. As the crew worked on my property Steve was there to answer any questions i had through out the process.

We recently had hail damage to our home and had to call them out to take a look at our roof. I've never had to replace a roof, so this was my first experience, and I thank God for them. They made the experience so easy and were there every step of the way. You can tell they care about the customer and the integrity of their work. I hope we don't need a new roof anytime soon, but if we do, we will forever use A step above roofing.

On a side note my husband was so impressed (Hard to do) we will also be using them for our siding, fence and fence.

From start to finish, A Step Above is on your side! Insurance will try and skip out on coverage and if you don't have someone like Michael Milligan with A Step Above taking care of things, you likely won't get what you have been paying your insurance for! The whole team communicated with us 100% of the time, very professional, very clean, responsive to all questions and they educate the customer. I highly, highly recommend them!

I would like to recommend A Step Above Roofing if you need your roof repaired. Michael came the same day I called and gave me a fair estimate to repair my roof. Much of the paperwork was done online and when all signatures were received, Orvin had a roofer to my house within a couple of days.

Very honest! I had several estimates prior to getting a new roof. Other companies were telling me I needed to get my decking up to code and then A Step Above Roofing came out and set it all strait! I didn't need new decking and not only are they HONEST, they don't cut corners!. They went into my attic and reattached the vent to go out my roof for the fartfan for our bathroom. I would have never know the fartfan was vented out the roof. It hasn't been vented out the roof ever since I lived her over 14 yrs cause it was always covered up. These guys do things RIGHT THE FIRST TIME and DON'T CUT CORNERS! They are truly one of my blessings sent from God. I will be using them for ALL my future roofing needs!

We worked with Mike Milligan for the estimate and insurance navigation; he was not only professional, but his in-depth explanation of the process and his quick responses when we had questions were the backbone of our positive experience. We had our roof replaced due to hail damage. I'm filling this survey out for my father. My father need his roof and guttering replace and he didn't want to go through the process but had to. Now he happy that he did because he said it was the most pleasant experience for having f or having something like this done. The project manager was professional but personable who didn't t rush him to make a decision , he must had sense "I need a little time to digest the information." He never rushed me and he took the time to make sure I understand everything and help me pick out roof and color that would look best on my house. Once we had all everything picked out andt finalize it took them no time to arrange the date to install. They arrived that morning and was completed that day. Jesse is the roofer/contractor everyone needs when working with an insurance company. He knew exactly what documents they needed to move the claim forward. Our contractor Jesse Bacon made sure all damages from the hail storm was covered by the insurance company. I now have a beautiful inside the home ceiling replacement, outside AC replacement and a beautiful roof and gutters replacement. All the work was done by A Step Above Roofing. They helped me through the insurance process after two roof-totaling hailstorms, and did great work. I have a large garden all the way across the front of the house, and they had special netting they brought out to protect it from damage while they replaced the roof!

You should call A Step Above Roofing TODAY and ask for Jesse. They were recommended to us by our neighbor after the hailstorm in Norman. We had roof, gutter and other damage on our house. Jesse walked us through the whole process, from calling the insurance company. He always answered every phone call and text, and really listens and answers any questions you might have. He always told us exactly when the workers would be here and how long each step of the process would take.
Even the work crews they used for roofing and replacing the gutters were fast and professional. They knocked and introduced themselves before starting work, and left the yard clean.
If you've only ever dealt with contractors or roofers who barely answer phone calls and act like you're a bother when you ask questions or want a definite timeline, you should really see the difference with Jesse and A Step Above. We will never use anyone else.

These guys are great! I highly recommend Jesse and this company. They make the process of a roof replacement look so easy. We have a difficult and steep roof and they still were finished so quickly and professionally. Came back the next day and made sure everything was in tip top shape.

A very professional team! Jesse Bacon was our contact and we couldn't had ask for a more professional and active listener. After explaining the contract in laymen's terms not contractual language, he asked if we had other concerns. We had asked him about his crew starting around the area of the satellite dish since we babysit our grand daughter and wanted little interruption in service. They did it! Chris was very professional. After we signed the agreement, the crew arrived on the promised date and man was it hot, but they got after it and had my new decking and shingles down in a little over a day. Chris came back and made sure I was happy with the work and cleanup. It was all a very professional job. I would recommend A Step Above to ANYONE needing roof repair or replacement done!

I would not use this company. They damaged our fire pit and are not willing to pay for it to be repaired. We started this project late May and they did not finish until the end of July. We had them replace rotted wood on our home and paint. Use another company!!!

The quoted work was reasonably priced. Finished product looks great. Wish there was more communication on arrival/departure times of the laborers, but overall satisfied with communication between myself and the office.

A-Step Above Roofing was the general contractor for my new roof, gutters, window screens, garage doors and interior water damage to ceiling from the 2019 tornado. They worked very quickly and left a clean job site. The quality and service was excellent. Ask for Michael Milligan. He is amazing and exceeded my expectations in efficiently lining up the subcontractors to complete the work. I highly recommend this company and will call them for all future home improvements.

John Eaton went above and beyond for us. He worked very hard from start to finish. He even met us at a park on a Sunday to allow our children to play while we did business. Our roof color looks great and the work was done very fast with good quality! Highly recommend!
