AR Roofing removed and replaced my old shake roof with new level 4 impact resistant asphalt shingles and I am very happy. The removal and installation only took one day to complete. They also identified that the deck was causing the problem and removed and replaced it as well. They caused a minor problem with the ceiling inside but repaired that to my satisfaction also. Their price to do all this work was HALF what other companies had quoted me! The other companies never even addressed the cause of the roof leak, which was the deck. I recommend A-R Roofing to everyone needing a new roof!

AR Roofing did an awesome job they tore off the old roof , put on new decking, sheeting and shingled all in one day including cleaning up and hauling off all the old torn off shingles and etc. Nick Layton was very professional, genuinely concerned to make sure the job was done correctly and the crew were very efficient in getting things done. I would highly recommend them for roofing contractors.

Was very pleased with both roof and gutters. Josh was very upfront with me and let me know everything to consider, kept me well informed even with bad weather in forecast. Highly recommend.

During the month of March 2025 the atmosphere "shot the breeze" on 3 occasions with winds that reached 60-70 mph. Loose shingles have psyched me out for many years, and even though I didn't see any shingles "waving" in the winds, the concern for wind damage was great.

'Air'ing on the side of caution I searched for roofing contractors and found A & R Roofing. They achieved a 4.9 star rating for 33 years.

Once they were called they sent Jonathan Payne to examine the roof. His examination was extremely thorough as he took dozens of photos and showed them to me. He found 56 shingles that had shown signs of wind damage. Mr. Payne suggested that I file a claim with State Farm. He was present when State Farm was called.

When the State Farm adjuster came to the house Mr. Payne made it a point to be here when the adjuster arrived. The adjuster also found evidence of wind damage. Their conclusions were almost identical.

Mr. Payne emailed the photos to State Farm and spoke with them directly, stating that repairs would be nearly $9,000. He was very supportive the whole time. Unfortunately, State Farm was not and refused to help pay for the damage(s), claiming that there was only 1 shingle that showed signs of wind damage. One shingle as opposed to 56?

The work that A & R Roofing performed has been superb. Mr. Payne provided frequent updates, even making follow-up visits to make sure that their work had more than lived up to expectations.

A & R Roofing received a 5-star rating from this client. In my sometimes humble opinion the rating should be 7 stars. Should you have any concerns over the structural integrity of your home or business I would encourage you to call these folks.

We had them out to take a look at the roof (see earlier 5 star review) and I asked John, their amazing team member who is always friendly, professional, and knowledgable, if they do guttering work. "Yep!" he said. So I showed him what I was thinking about doing with a particular downspout that I wanted to re-route.
He put together a great bid and we got it scheduled. But, when it came time to do the project, their experienced install team had some hesitation. So we looked at it, talked about it, pointed at it, talked some more, and decided my vision woudn't he the fix I thought. We needed to re-configure the whole gutter to get the result I wanted from that downspout. The scope of the project got bigger but it was the right thing to do.
The techs called in for reinforcements, the proper tools and materials for the right approach, and got to work. I watched and listened and was there when they needed my thoughts as they figured it out and made it amazing!
The install is clean and better than they found it. The water will go exactly where I need it. They also were clearly a high functioning team. They all were wearing similar gear, including appropriate ppe, carried themselves with dignity, and did work at a level of artisanship. They were respectful to my family and to each other as they sorted through creating the solution I wanted with the vision and expertise they operate on. I loved how they deliberated and communicated with each other to serve our needs better than what I had hoped for.
Then, the follow up. John came by, we looked, we pointed, we talked, we shook hands, and I gladly wrote a check. Maybe it was more than the original bid, but it is the right thing for my family and our home.
On top of it all, they showed me that we have a partner in our community that wants what is best. When I need someone to help me shelter my family, weathering and recovering from storms, AR is who I will call.

Highly recommend! 50mph winds blew off half a square of shingles on our house. I submitted an online request to get an estimate around 8:30 am on a Monday. They called me right away. A very professional young man called to coordinate the visit an hour later and was on the roof building the estimate by 11am. We accepted the bid and they got us scheduled for either Friday or the following Monday. Completely understandable since almost everyone in town had shingles blown off.

When the forecast showed rain late in the week, they called and said they would be out to do the job Wednesday evening and they did.

Wednesday night, it rained. Thursday it rained a little more and here we are Friday and it is pouring.

Our roof is not only fixed but the new shingles match perfectly (curb appeal matters) and the existing shingles are sealed thanks to opting to have the team make sure of it.

This is my second time coming to A&R Roofing and every time they always did a wonderful job on my roofs that I had done. This time I had to put gutters on and some trimming and it was a long process. Had a leak on my roof, insurance paid decided to use A-R. Took them 6 months to do it. They assessed the roof and suggested the fix. 2 weeks before they finally decided to do it the guy in contact with me called and said we would be out tomorrow can you give me a check. I told him I would pay over the phone with CC. Next week, a week before he called and asked if I would give him a check again I told him I was paying with a CC when it wad completed. The day before again he asked for a check, annoyed I said I would pay half now and the other half when done. So I paid half, and the next day when they finished he called and asked for payment. I said I wanted to inspect it then I would pay other half. I went on my roof and they didn't do half of it. So I called and sent pictures and a few days later they did the part they missed. Other than 1 6x6 foot area which was weird. Fast foward a year it's leaking again, same place. I go on the roof and there are blisters and holes in the flat part of the roof they fixed. Took 6 weeks for him to come access again and tells me it's coming from the 6x6 part they didn't do last time. And wants to charge $1600 to do it. I feel like they should have done it the 1st time and to charge am I don't want to do it price when they have to come out to warranty the stuff they did is upsetting. Bad customer service from start to finish.

Owen was great to work with. He handled all of the insurance aspects of the process. It was nice that I did not have to be the go between for the roofing company and my insurance. The work was done when he said it would be done and it was good work. I would use A-R Roofing again and I hope I can work with Owen again.

AR put a steel roof on our house. The process was easy and seamless. The roof is beautiful and we have received lots of compliments from neighbors and friends. I highly recommend AR!

We had a severe hail storm in July 2023 and I had Austin, a representative for A and R Roofing, assess my roof. It was totaled. A wood shake roof. To be honest, I had other roofers examine it too. I was impressed with Austin's people skills. He was always prompt when I sent him a text asking questions. There was a wait for my DaVinci roof, but A and R was here when the roofing products arrived and I am very satisfied with their service. I also found their estimate very fair. If you have a need for a roof (or a roof repair) please give them a call.

I Contacted AR roofing about two years ago, when I was looking for company’s to repair my parents roof. Daniel came out and was very professional and helpful. They did a great job on my parents house, a few months later I contacted them again to replace my roof at my home. Daniel came out again and gave me a great quote. They repaired my roof in a timely manner and they are easy to work with. AR this roofing did a great job and the whole staff is professional and nice.
