Replacing the roof was a priority but we also wanted to extend our porch. This included new brick, posts, overhang, and metal roofing. Only a handful of companies were willing to take on both projects. After many conversations it was clear that A+ was the only company that understood what we wanted. Plans were drawn up and approved.

Each phase of the project was lined up and started/ended as planned. A+ kept us informed of all activity and made sure we were available for input along the way. The efficiency and organization of the team was impressive.

When our project was complete, the team made sure to clean up all debris for final inspection. Truly an A+ experience.

I was having some roofing issues.....Called a few companies ..... I heard a (A -plus roofing commercial on WRVA) called, they were at my house promptly. Fantastic presentation with many options available. My wife and I just didn't feel as comfortable with the others as we did with A-plus. Since we were having issues with a leak, they rearranged their schedule to fit us in, WOW, what a lifesaver. The service was done in 2 days. To make a long story short.....it looks fantastic.

I had another company come out and look at my roof because I was concerned about hail damage and was told I would need to replace my roof and I should contact my insurance company. After asking questions and if there were photos for backup I received answers that led me to believe they hadn't actually gone up on the roof. I contacted A Plus and Billy came out and went up on the roof and informed me that my roof had another 5-10years left and it would be an uphill battle with the insurance company. He returned a couple days later and replaced a pipe collar that had cracked and caulked problem areas he had noticed. I really appreciated the honesty and they will be getting my business in the future.

I highly recommend A-Plus Roofing. The whole experience was pleasant and professional. Howard, the representative that handled our job was very knowledgeable and informative. He explained our different options and gave us his recommendations. He was quick to respond via calls and texts to questions I had after our initial meeting. He worked with me to schedule the job on a day that worked with my schedule. When the crew showed up they put down tarps all around the house to catch the debris from removing the old roof. The speed at which they got the job done while not skipping any of the small details was impressive. When they left you would never know anyone had been here. Howard came by after the crew had gone to follow up and be sure we were satisfied. I have not found single stray nail or piece of debris in the yard. . When we decided to get our roof replaced, I chose 3 local roofing companies to get quotes for the job. Of the three, A Plus roofing got the job because they quickly came out to inspect our roof and provide a detailed quote. Once they arrived to begin the work, they always were prompt each day, kept the jobsite very clean and organized, and did a first rate job from beginning to end. Then Billy Kane (VP of the company) came out to be sure the job site was immaculately clean before he considered the job completed. Giving A Plus Roofing a five star review was truly a no brainer.

The crew did a fantastic job. My wife and I are really happy from sales pitch, to finish. We took three job quotes and took the mid range price. The sales briefing Alex gave us was professional, detailed and he answered all our questions. Communication with him throughout the process was excellent. Now we have expensive Leaf Filters! We made it known that if anything happened to them during installation…we wanted them to be immediately repaired. Alex, wrote that addendum right into the contract on the spot. Some of the other contractors stepped around the issue which was a major problem for us. Thankfully, the crew didn’t damage the gutters (that my son and I could detect) and they appear to have made it through the process.

The crew arrived early and did a fantastic job. They repaired decking sections that needed (they didn’t overlook it and keep going), took care not to trample my wife’s plants. It was very windy today but they policed up all the debris to the last nail. The job was precise and looked beautiful. The crew was also very professional and polite. It was a pleasure to have them here. It you need a new roof…hire this outfit! You won’t be sorry.

I felt like the price they charged me was super reasonable. The guys who came by the house were real nice, did a great job, and went above and beyond in my opinion. The repairs look great, they provided photos, did a great job cleaning up, and even caulked and painted some cracks while they were up there.

All has been done well. I'm pleased with the roofing on our cottage and Howard Weis cleaned up all the sawdust inside the cottage today and sent me pictures of the inside with no more sawdust! Yay!!

The thing with roofing repairs is you really need to wait a little while before making a judgement on efficacy.
And with the few big rains we’d encountered in Dec23/Jan24, A Plus has proven to us their quality work.

We’ve been in the process of renovating an older home for a few years now, and we had to step back a few steps to readdress some roofing, soffit, and fascia issues.
With older houses in particular, you really don’t know what you’ll find beneath the surface.
From my original meeting with Richard, I was impressed by his experience and knowledge of older homes and their particular construction and issues.
That carried over to the work he and Chris performed around the whole perimeter.
Any old dry rot or other issue uncovered was met with no hesitance in how to address and fix it.
The fixes they made blend seamlessly into the original build, were executed solidly, and all communicated clearly before moving ahead.

A Plus recently completed a roofing replacement for my home and I am extremely satisfied with the company. From working with Mr Weiss on shingle product selection, to materials drop off, to installation, to payment with Amanda; I couldn’t say more about the level of professionalism exhibited by every member of the team. I interviewed several prospective companies and an individual (self employed) for the job, and I took my time weighing options and estimates. Mr Weiss was the most informative and forthcoming. He set me on a course to dig into the various products and composition and to confirming installation best practices. The roof is gorgeous and really levels up the appeal and value of my property.

I've had work done on 2 houses & been very pleased. One was repair & the other replacement. Straightforward, no pressure & helpful in decision-making. Hard-working crew were punctual & thorough; cleaned up yard so well after replacement that hardly a trace left.

I had OKNA windows installed several years ago which was honestly the best construction job I have ever experienced! When the team showed up, they immediately deployed and had windows coming out of my house within minutes - no workers sitting in my driveway for 20 minutes smoking cigarettes and finishing their coffee. After hearing John Reid and Jeff Katz of 1140 WRVA sing the praises about A Plus Roofing and A Plus Windows and what a wonderful family-owned business it is, I absolutely gave them a call when it was time to replace my roof this year. I have had A Plus do my roof two years ago and they just put new gutters on this week. They are very responsive and efficient and they complete work on or ahead of time. They even managed to fit a gutter in a tricky tight spot we weren’t sure about! Everyone I have spoken to for projects has been knowledgeable and polite and more than happy to answer questions.

After receiving 4 different estimates, it was an easy choice to go with Alex and A+ because I trusted him and what they were able to provide. Even though the estimate was not the lowest, Alex worked with me and matched the lower cost competitor. Employee quoted needed repair as two pipe collar replacements and missing slate tile at a cost of $1850. Additionally, employee stated roof is failing. Employee was unaware of recent collar replacement and pending second assessment two hours later. Second company verified no missing slate tile AND fully functional pipe collars. The actual problem is a leak at the elbow of ventilation pipe. I sensed an obvious attempt at extortion.

A Plus Roofing came out to my house to inspect the roof that, according to my insurance, needed some repairs. Something I could not see myself but of course I’m not an expert.
The two gentlemen that came out were very friendly and honest and confirmed that my roof is in good shape and no repairs are needed.
I was very afraid of being sold a service that wasn’t actually necessary just because I don’t know better, so I really appreciated their honesty!
They also sent me their report with the inspection results so I had something to send to my insurance. So far I have not heard back from my insurance but I don’t expect to.

I’m very happy with the way A Plus Roofing handled the situation and I will definitely keep them in mind when the time comes and I really need repairs

We had an excellent experience with A Plus Roofing. Project estimation and scheduling was quick and easy. Within a few days, Richard and Chris came out to remove a failed chimney stack and patch our roof. It took less than a day; and this was an especially challenging job considering the age of our home and how close the chimney was to our built-in gutters.The repair looks so good it's nearly invisible. As a bonus, Richard and Chris preserved a majority of the 100+ year old bricks from the chimney for us to use in the garden. I would recommend A Plus to any neighbor in need of roofing repair.

I called A-Plus Roofing on a Tuesday to come inspect my roof and offer estimates for both repair and replacement. We had some terrible wind the week before and I found some shingles in the yard. My roof was over 20 years old, so I knew it was time.

They looked at my roof that Thursday and the price for replacement was so reasonable, I immediately gave them the go-ahead to replace the roof and skylight.

They ended up doing the job the very next day! The crew that came was extremely professional and knocked the entire job out in about 8 hours. They cleaned up extremely well. I found no debris on the ground afterwards...not even a single nail!

It's rained several times since and there have been no signs of leakage. I was extremely happy with the entire process. The 50-year Altas Pinnacle Pristine architectural shingles look great!

We chose A-Plus Roofing to help alleviate our myriad of rooftop maladies—and couldn't be happier we did.

Our home (c. 1895) has an attached “shed” the prior owners added years ago. They used asphalt shingles, which were not correct for the roof’s low pitch and led to a number of leaks as rain and ice crept up and in every crevice. An array of exterior HVAC pipes positioned in a tricky spot and concealed by a false downspout only added to the problems during downpours.

We repeatedly tried to stop the leaks, but it was clear we needed a new roof. We decided on standing seam metal, as it would be appropriate for the low pitch as well as more true to the original character of the house. All that was left was finding a roofing company we could trust.

We sought four different estimates and ultimately selected A-Plus Roofing. While their estimate was more than fair, their people made the difference—and our choice easy.

Amy, who coordinates and takes care of customers, was quick to call back. Throughout the project she was professional and friendly, and a joy to communicate with. No roofing project ever goes 100% perfectly (that’s simply a scientific fact), but Amy was there to ensure all would be taken care of. And it always was.

Richard, who came to estimate the job and would also join the crew, was terrific. He assessed our main project and consulted on two additional ones: refinishing an existing older metal roof (c. 1930s) and re-crowning two chimneys. (We learned there was more to A-Plus than just roofing.) Richard proved extremely capable, yet equally humble, and always took time to listen and respond thoughtfully.

Junior, Humberto, and Chris would join Richard on the project, each bringing remarkable skills and knowledge. (Not to mention good-natured humor to match their talent.) When a new layer of plywood was required, Junior hoisted and hammered an entire roof himself while others were briefly out taking care other projects. He and the crew got the new standing seam panels perfectly in place, addressing the tricky HVAC pipes and some rotted cedar siding. Junior and Humberto then refinished the older metal roof while Richard took care of the two chimney crowns like a true master mason. Everything looks great and is sure to last a lifetime.

As mentioned, no project ever goes perfectly. But I can honestly say that any snag, slight delay, or unexpected surprise was nothing compared to the remarkable QUALITY and VALUE the entire A-Plus Roofing team delivered every step of the way. A-Plus earned our trust and respect, and highest recommendations—and we plan to invite them back to help with another project. Repeat business is the ultimate vote of confidence!

I was absolutely blown away by the service at A Plus Roofing! Junior was my repair tech on site and he arrived at the house promptly on time, I walked him through where I thought the water leaking from our bedroom ceiling was coming from, and he was able to quickly identify the source of the damage on our roof. It was a repair he already had the tools for and was able to make the repair right after the assessment. The whole process was incredibly quick, I felt like I was in the know via excellent communication throughout, and the repair was able to get finished before heavy rain kicked into the forecast. Thank you for such a great experience and I will absolutely be using A Plus Roofing for any future repairs!

I found I had leakage after the last heavy rain and after hearing good things about A Plus Roofing, I gave them a call. The next day Billy came out to assess my needs, found a few small leaks and caulked them as a stopgap measure until we could get a new roof scheduled, which was at least a week or so out. I can't even begin to say how happy I am with the Job they did on my roof and found another roof company's( Lowes) mistakes, the reason why I was having problems! But they found them, fixed it and even made a shield on my roof to stop the gushing rain from draining into my heat pump! They replaced the wrong flashing around my Chimney and stopped the leaking! They were wonderful!!! I found my Roofers for life!!!! Thank You!!

We were so pleased with the roof replacement we had them come back to replace our gutters as well. Their communication and customer service is fantastic. I'm so glad I used A-Plus for my roof. My neighbor used them and was extremely pleased, so I reached out knowing that I would need a new roof soon. I got several other estimates, and they beat everyone. Chris my estimator answered all of my questions, and made me feel like I was never bothering him. He explained the whole process, and all of the materials they would use, as well as sample shingles to help us pick the color we wanted. He explained the benefits of his products over others without trying to oversell his product, and helped me understand the benefits of a roof vent since I did not already have one.

The crew that did the work was amazing, they took long strides to keep the work areas clean by utilizing tarps, and big rolling magnets to pick up all of the nails. They kept the noise to a minimum, as much as you can while redoing a roof. Never once did I hear unecessary, yelling, swearing, anything of the like. They were fast, efficient, professional, they were very kind when I spoke with them, they were extremely accommodating and understanding when I needed to let my dogs out to relive themselves, they finished the project in the time frame they said 2 days, and most importantly they left my yard, and house cleaner than it was when they arrived.

A Plus did a commercial apartment complex for us and it was one of the best experiences we have had in several years! Super responsive! Great Attitude! They are some of the BEST!!!

A-Plus was more than a roofing company, they gave a passionate and personal attention to every aspect of our estimate and install beyond anything expected. My representative Alex was there to answer my call, answer my questions and give me honest and direct information every step of the way. Alex even showed up on installation day and was personally on site to assist the installation team to completion.
A-Plus will always be my number 1 recommendation for any roofing needs.

There was no clean up after our new roof was put in. We found several handfuls of nails, screws, metal shards, and staples left in our gravel driveway and all throughout our yard, AND an UNOPENED BOTTLE OF CORONA. There were also chunks of rotten wood and plastic packaging left everywhere. Our landlord (who was in constant communication with the company) requested that they come back to clean up what was left behind. He was told a crew would be coming back the morning after the roof installation, but that crew never came. We were left to clean it all up.

Unprofessional. Between the lack of clean up and the beer that they brought to drink while installing the roof.

Billy was great to work with and responded quickly to every inquiry. His crew was very professional and hard working. Would highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed. :-)

A+ Roofing has done it again! It's hard to believe that they've surpassed their superior service - so much that I used them a second time on another house! We had A Plus Roofing do the Soffit, Fascia and rake boards with their PVC coated trim. It looks so great that my wife said it transformed our home.
We loved the professionalism so much that we had them come back and replace our gutters.
I would recommend A Plus Roofing for any job on the exterior of the home. They do a lot more than Roofing.

We recently had A Plus Roofing install new siding and posts on the front porch of our home.They also completed our kitchen remodel with new countertops. Wonderful modern change to a 60's home.
