The Project Coordinator, Blake Sherman, was amazing: he explained in person all of the steps from removing the old roof, installing the new roof, and the clean up process. He patiently answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. I am a retired Engineer and have supervised $100M construction projects; thus, I really appreciate a professional like Blake. In addition, he has a very relaxed disposition and gets along extremely well with the roofing crew.

I am not used to contractor personnel including Mr. Lowe, Meghan (office manager in Troy), and Mr. Blake promptly returning my phone calls and text messages.

Cenvar's proposal was not the lowest cost wise, but I am happy that I selected them; their team assigned to my project was simply amazing.

Hired them to replace my roof here in Charlottesville. They are a very responsive company. Service reps were always friendly and very quick to respond to my questions. Price was lower than the other 3 quotes I got as well. Work performed was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Been waiting a bit to post this just to make sure but I can officially say 5/5 stars and I would recommend. We called out everyone in town for estimates and Cenvar gave a great estimate for quality work with quality materials. Our roof looks amazing and is quality. Everyone we talked to was very professional. The work was done well and in ONE day (the actual installation) once they arrived. They cleaned up the nails very well afterwards. We only came across one stray nail. I simply can't recommend them enough. I called everyone and these are the people to use at the very least as of when I am posting this review.

Cenvar did an excellent job with replacing my 26 year old roof and installing gutter Guards. I shopped around and got other estimates first and they are more than reasonably priced. They were more than half the price of one company and gave me a choice of colors which was not offed at other places. The entire roof was completed the same day. They took special care to protect my property and stayed in contact with me be sure I was happy. I cannot say how happy I am with this company. If you are looking for a roof save yourself some time and just go with Cenvar,, you will not regret it!

I contacted Cenvar about needing an estimate for a new roof and someone (Thomas) got in touch with me the next day. Thomas came out, inspected my roof , gave me an estimate, and followed up with me on questions I had. Cenvar was reasonably priced and Thomas made me feel comfortable using this company. After signing the contract and picking out the shingles, a date was set for installation, and though the winter weather pushed things off a bit, the crew was there to get started right away. The site manager , Tobias, kept me up to date with all the findings and progress with texts and pictures. Since I have 4 outdoor dogs, I ended up staying home to keep them inside while the crews worked. I kept in contact with Tobias and he made sure the area around my front door was cleaned up for anything that light hurt the dogs as I brought them out for breaks. The crew worked hard and did a great job. Tobias called the day after installation to check on how we liked things. I mentioned a couple of things I had questions about and he came right out and made sure everything was shipshape. I am overall impressed with this company and their professionalism. They did a great job, Thomas and Tobias (I found out are brothers) made everything run smoothly. I can’t say enough good things about Cenvar.

We couldn't have had a better experience. They tore off and replaced our roof in 24 hours. Then, they came back and inspected their work, found that something could be improved, and then came back quickly to fix it. They were transparent at every step, communicated every aspect to me, and answered all of my questions. Their employees are courteous, professional, and extremely competent. I was so happy with our roof installation. It was great from the start with Gabriel who came out and actually went on the roof to give us an estimate. He was very polite easy going and never pushy. He explained everything and answered all our questions. We had others do estimates as well. They didn't even come out to look at the roof at all. It did take some time getting our shingles in but we knew this because of the ones we wanted had to be ordered. Tobias the project coordinator called me the day before installation to introduce himself and let me know when they would be here. They showed up on time and started working right away. Tobias was here the whole time and I had his cell to call or txt if needed. Unfortunately rain came in but there was no worries the guys covered the roof to keep it safe from the rain and came back first thing the next morning to finish. Also these guys clean up so good , you would've never known they had been here if you didn't see them. We were very happy with our experience and would recommend Cenvar to anyone wanting a new roof. Shoot we will be doing our gutters next guess who we will be calling back. YES! They do gutters too.

He walked us through our color options and delivered samples to our home, twice. The pricing was the most competitive of 5 quotes we sought from local, reputable roofing companies. The labor team was efficient and tidy. I also thought it pretty smart that Cenvar has a Project Manager on site during the job. His name was Tobias…also very professional and knowledgeable. We have a new roof! Cenvar was great and we would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone in the Richmond VA area looking to get any work done on their roof.

We had been thinking about a new roof for years and over that timespan had more than a few roofing companies over to give us a quote. We couldn't pull the trigger until Cenvar. They were recommended to us by a solar company who does a lot of work with roofs and I can see why.

They gave us a great price, were timely and thorough. The project manger, Griffin, was great at communicating with us regularly and keeping us in the loop. He would show us pictures and videos all along the way so that we could see problems first hand or see the work in action without being on the room ourselves. He was happy to answer questions or double check about areas we were concerned about.

We had another company come to give us a sales pitch that took 2 hours in which they educated us about what a good roof was, telling us we wouldn't find these practices with other roofers in the area. They then gave us a quote three times higher than Cenvar. I'm sure it would have been a good roof but it just wasn't in our budget and didn't make sense for our renovation plans. Gabrielle from Cenvar came over and as I asked question after question (with my new roof education) they did everything that was mentioned by the other company minus using American made shingles. Every other feature or practice was taken care of! We also live in an old house with lots of *ahem* character. We had some tricky spots on the room. Cenvar helped us remediate them and came up with plans for strange trouble-areas that were beyond my expectation. I'm confident they were addressed well.

Mid project we ran into some rain and we did end up having a leak. Surprise! It was in one of the tricky spots. I called Griffin and he was over in a jiffy to address it. They came and helped us trouble shoot and then as soon as they could get up there they did multiple things to help fortify that area. They also called a dry wall company and saw to ALL of the details of getting things repaired that had gotten wet. They were dependable through every step of the process.

Clean up was great. Afterwards you could hardly tell there had been a whole work crew.

We also really appreciated that Cenvar had a generous 10 year warranty on their workmanship in addition to the 50 year warranty from the shingle company. It is comforting to see companies stand by their work.

We can fit in lots more of our projects and we hope to find companies we like as much as Cenvar to help us with those.

I was incredibly impressed with CENVAR roofing. I had three quotes to replace my roof and they had the most thorough estimate with a very competitive price. There was one bid that was lower, but did not include the skylights, drip edges, or the rolled roof over a low slope roof. The estimate was detailed, and part of me felt there had to be a catch.

That concern quickly went away as they started the projected. They kept me up to date each step of the way, and were in constant communication as rain delayed the project (who wants a new roof put on in the rain). The crew worked fast, executed with quality, and cleaned up after themselves.

Needless to say, I’m very happy with the finished product, and am excited for the first major rain storm to test this thing out. Hopefully I won’t have to use the warranty, but I feel good knowing workmanship is covered for 10 years. This was another reason I chose them. When you make a big investment in your house, it’s good to know it’s covered for a long time.

Cenvar Roofing is the Company that's know in our Subdivision. Thomas Payne was our Sales Person and he worked hard to get us the shingles that we preferred even during difficult times of shipments.
Fast forward on the day of our installation, the lead man Griffin was very knowledgeable and very detailed. Once the Crew begin working he informed us on how the Project was going from time to time.
This young man Griffin deserve an Employee recognition. He was one of the best Customer Service Person I've seen in a long time.

Can’t say enough positive things about our experience with this company. The initial inspection and estimate was thorough yet respectful of our time (didn’t have to endure the dreaded 2 hour long sales pitch at dinner time). The crew showed up early both days, worked diligently and cleared all debris from the yard. The project manager was on site and kept us well informed about the progress of the work several times per day. We’re very pleased and would recommend Cenvar Roofing.

They were the best start to finish. I interviewed a lot of roofing companies and settled right in with the Cenvar team. The "sales people" were not pushy just informative and honest. Did not take too much of my time knowing I did not have a lot to spare. The price was very much on target and within my budget. Some payment options were available as well! The installation team was quick precise and clean. They bumped my installation date due to potential leak that may have damaged my interior. The payment process was smooth and again not pushy. My roof was done on Friday and I made payment today and that was not an issue with them at all! I will recommend this company to anyone in need of a roof or a repair. EXCELLENT start to finish!

Cenvar Roofing did a full roof replacement on our early-1900s four-square in Richmond, VA. I called Cenvar after receiving a quote from another vendor in the area for the same service: replacing our beyond-repair tin roof and re-lining our built-in gutters. We've also had the issue in our home of the third floor being exceedingly hot and have attempted multiple fixes (recalibrating our AC; installing a minisplit; installing insulation; etc.). Not a single expert in air conditioning, insulation, refurbishment, etc. suggested installing a vent (something not standard in early-century homes). After a single inspection, Cenvar rightly identified this as a significant contributor to our energy efficiency issue.

Cenvar did a full-service roof replacement with warranteed work and shingle while also coming in below the competition on project cost (even during these times when costs for such projects have sky rocketed due to supply concerns).

Thomas and Tobias both helped to coordinate the project and ensured my family understood what was happening along the way. Further, Thomas offered us various options throughout the project, making sure we understood the drawbacks of various decisions were they to be made (something other providers did not do).

Thomas' commitment to his understanding of roofing and best practices also ensured that the installed roof adhered to modern roofing standards and conventions (calling out problems with other proposals that would have meant the installed roof was not up to most recent recommendations) while also - again - ensuring we understood what the drawbacks and advantages of various decisions were.

We were really pleased with the quality of the work. Everything was done according to what we requested, and at the agreed upon time. The cleanup was fantastic - other than a handful of old nails in odd places (to be expected), we never had any issues finding nails, tar paper, or bits of old shingles in the yard. Even better - the azaleas in the front showed zero signs of damage! We would definitely consider using Cenvar's services again, and would recommend them to friends.

The team that installed our new roof was very fast and efficient - and it looks great! By all accounts they did great work, as well as finishing in record time. A couple of small finishing touches happened after the main install, and there were some nails left in the lawn - but there was good communication and follow through with the project manager (came back to make sure took care of any concerns) and overall I was impressed with the professionalism and competence of the team.

They were very resposive and scheduled me for an estimate quickly. Thomas called to let me know he was coming, showed up on time, and went straight to work. While inspecting the roof, he found what he thought to be the problem, filled the small nail hole, and did not charge me for anything. He recommended I wait for the next rain to ensure the issue was resolved. He refused to let me pay him. After having several services in my home to figure out the issue and forking over thousands of dollars with no resolution, this was truly a welcome breath of fresh air. He was knowledgeable and explained all of the issues. I would highly recommend this company for any and all your roofing needs.

I cannot recommend CENVAR Roofing highly enough. Needing a full roof replacement I had them and 3 other companies come out for estimates. They were not the cheapest option but not the most expensive either. The quality of the materials they used and warranty offered were exceptional for the price.

Thomas came out for the estimate and was the most professional and courteous of everyone. He explained all options and the cost differences. He was patient and I did not feel rushed. Once we decided to use his company he was in contact and easy to reach. His customer service is exceptional.

The job was able to be started within a few weeks. The day of service Tobias and a crew came out and started demolition on the old roof. Tobias was just as professional and caring as Thomas was. He answered any questions and kept us informed along the way. Tarping was laid around the perimeter of the entire house to catch all waste and nails. The crew took great care as to not do any damage to the property. Though estimated to run into a second day the entire job was completed in one with the crew working into the late afternoon to finish.

I would urge anyone needing any roof work done to allow CENVAR roofing to to the job. They exceeded expectations in every way and I will absolutely used them for any future roofing or gutter needs!

There were multiple delays that pushed the roof installation out several weeks after the date that the initial sales person had originally quoted. However, everyone was very courteous, once they got out there, they got the job done quick, and the roof looks great.

From the beginning until the very end of the roof installation, Cenvar maintained excellent communication. The company is very organized. When we called for a quote, the Representative arrived exactly at the time promised. On the day of the installation, the men were very organized and were hard workers. They were also very thorough in the cleanup afterwards.

The roof was installed ahead of schedule. We chose Cenvar Roofing because of their use of quality shingles, the price, and the extended warranty. We are happy with our decision and their workmanship.

The workers worked continuously taken a 30 minute break and returning to the job site and
finishing in 7.5 hours. This included cleaning up and packing all their gear. Mr. Hunter Brown
did an excellent job keeping the task on schedule.
