AJ Wood Construction recently finished an exterior job for our home in the greater Boston area and we were extremely pleased with the results (they came highly recommended by two friends who also used them for major home projects). They replaced our roof, removed our old cedar shingles, re-insulated the house, added new vinyl siding and trim, replaced two windows, and re-built our front deck/stairs and side stairs & railings. Throughout the process, they were really easy to communicate with and responded promptly. The work they did -- especially on the siding, trim, and stairs -- was excellent quality. They also stayed on budget which was an added bonus! Our house looks brand new and we've received many compliments from neighbors and friends. I would highly recommend AJ Wood to anyone else!

The replacement windows they installed continue to be a disappointment. After complaining about them being drafty they did respond. The crew did come out to recaulk the inside frame of the windows but they are indeed still drafty. Thankfully we only replaced the back 4. I like the tilt in feature hence one star. The second star is for their response. Perhaps they should look into a new supplier.
