A Custom To, LLC

I had A Custom To replace my roof a couple years ago and was so happy I had them come this Fall to install gutter guards. The crew sent was efficient, polite, and cleaned up afterwards. I could not be happier with their work and the whole team behind them.

This siding project was the second project (both on this dormer extension) that I have worked with A Custom To on. Both projects were started to address roof leaks and both were completed on time with quality and care at a great price. This most recent project also included new structured siding. Despite Mother Nature not cooperating, the job was still done on time and looks fantastic. We can really feel a difference too! Thank you Keith, Renee, and your whole crew! I am extremely pleased with the entire crew from A Customer To, LLC. This is from the pre- and post-installation inspection, the installation crew was very professional and respectful to my property as well as the neighbors. Their work was excellent and always asked if I had any questions. After post-inspection, without my asking, a small team came to correct some minor issues. The dumpster, excessive material and pallets were picked up within 24 hours of completion of the project without my having to ask. Renee, the office manager, was great! This is the third time I have used A Custom To LLC for various jobs . They are very professional and great to work with.

I have an older duplex, A Custom To, LLC, tore off my old roof, corrected the attic venting, vented pipes through the roof which originally were only going into my attic. Then they replaced my roof and put on new gutters. I had reached out a couple of years ago on getting an estimate; Keith and Renee were patient with me, while waiting for me to be ready to have the project done. The first day of the job Chad came out to answer some questions that I had. Their crews worked hard, did quality work and did a nice job cleaning up when they were finished. Best of all now that my venting is all done properly, I think that my whole house smells fresher!!!

A Custom To was responsive to my inquiries and did an excellent job explaining the product offering. They were familiar with the product and color of the original shingle and were able to match it exactly. In addition, their crew did a terrific job installing it.

We have an older home in Greenfield and had an annoying leak in the flat roof over our addition. Called one of the big companies that did a good job on our entire roof, except the flat roof, but never received a response. Then I called a smaller company that replaced my Dad's garage roof in Wind Lake a few years back but again never heard back. Another large company provided an estimate to which my response was "You have GOT to be kidding." Based on other folks' good reviews I called Renee at ACT and she arranged to have Keith come over to provide an estimate that was fair. The crew did a wonderful job on our home! So if you need roofing, stop reading my review and call Renee and put your feet up, relax and have another cup of coffee and know that your project will be handled by nice people who want the work.

Got several quotes for my project (exterior window trim) and this company had the best price by far. I hired them based on their price and good reviews and was not disappointed. They had great communications, did a quality job and did a spotless cleanup. I would highly recommend them.

During the spring ice storm and wind a Wi-Fi cable pulled my siding off the peak of my roof. Keith came out on a Friday and I had my estimate by Monday. When a time slot opened up, I scheduled the appointment. Chad came out and replaced the siding and did a beautiful job. Matches perfectly. He also did a couple of small odds and ends for me since I did not have a ladder to reach the roof. Example: take old Wi-Fi wire off of the house. Wire was dead, low hanging, and went across the driveway making things a little hazardous for my truck. I will use them for any jobs I have outside my house and fully recommend them to everyone.

I used ACT to replace my roof and chimney flashing. They did an excellent job. Keith was very professional. They were the best estimate of 4 companies. They did quality work. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof.

I am so happy with my new roof installed by A Custom To, LLC. Keith Schmidt, Renee, and everyone else I met in connection with the project was pleasant, professional, and efficient. Communication was easy. The price was competitive. The roof and clean up were completed on time. Keith provided A Custom To's license numbers and certificates with my quote as a normal business practice. I didn't have to ask for them. As a bonus, because A Custom To is certified to install Owens Corning (as well as GAF) roofing, I was able the light reflective amber color shingles I really wanted. A color many other contractors don't have access to. The amber looks great and I couldn't be more pleased!

In 2013 my husband and I contacted A CustomTo, LLC because during a heavy storm, rain was coming in our kitchen roof and fireplace. Keith inspected the roof and found the problem. The workers came on time and after the work was completed, we have never had an issue with rain or leaking in those areas.

Just recently, I noticed a water stain on the ceiling in our study. We were so pleased with the last repair, that we contacted them again. Keith checked the roof and determined what may be the problem. The work was completed on February 9th, 2022. Since then, we have had ice, rain, thawing snow, and there is no sign of water coming in that area.

Hopefully we won't have roof problems again, but we certainly will call A Custom To if that did happen.

I had a small repair to my gutters and many companies would not do such a small job, but A Custom To, LLC responded promptly to my inquiries, came out and inspected the work to be done, emailed me a quote for the job, and when the time came to do the work, they were on time and the installer was very personable and professional. I will certainly contact them again if I need additional work done in the future.

I had some flashing installed between siding and roof. They followed up promptly while scheduling the work and after. The work was done quickly and looks great. They also followed up to my request to add some caulking. I would have them do work for me again.

After heavy wind and rain, I needed a small roof repair. Other companies I contacted didn’t respond, didn’t show up or were very expensive for my minor repair. I remembered I had used A Custom To at a previous house for repairs and had a good experience. I talked to Renee and scheduled a time for an estimate. Keith was on time for the estimate and the repair was completed about a month later, right before snow arrived! They are very reasonable and show up when they promise. I will definitely use them in the future!

I recently contracted A Custom To, LLC (ACT) to repair the chimney flashing, and replace 2 attic fans with a new ventilation system on the roof ridge. I was very pleased with the work completed - 5 stars for professionalism, quality of work at a reasonable cost, and as scheduled. My roof looks great! I have hired ACT several times over the last 10 years, and I have always been very pleased with the workmanship. I originally hired ACT because the company is a member of NARI and is highly rated on Angi. ACT cleans my gutters every year.

I had soffits and fascia wrapped and Raindrop gutter guards installed. Neat and efficient and of the three estimates I obtained, theirs was the lowest, but the work was top notch.

consistent as usual, Keith, Renee and team ACT again exceeded expectations .. our company [multi-family HUD prop mgmt agent] must seek competitive quotes from reliable, professional vendors and once more relied upon ACT to rehab a very aged/damaged roof system [100% remove, dispose, replace] .. ACT won't likely be the cheapest, but the difference in cost is worth the peace of mind after the work is done .. hire them.

I've had A Custom To out to my home a few times and each experiance was great! From installing smart+ridge vents to take care of my ice dam problems to patching the shingle work where my chimey stood before I tore it down, they were always professional. The quality worksmanship has stood up to the weather and the new shingles were matched perfectly to the old ones. They also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I couldn't find one stray roofing nail anywhere! Their knowledge in the roofing and insulating industry is up to date and top notch. I never would have guessed the "smart vents" would solve my issue.

Excellent work by ACT, LLC throughout process. From the start, communication was timely and accurate. Quote came in below others. Crew did a high quality job and was extremely efficient, punctual and communicative even explaining that they had to leave early on the last day and it would extend the time needed to finish but also explaining that everything had been covered or finished such that there would be no issues because of it. Overall I am highly satisfied with both the completed job and experience overall. I would highly recommend.

Have used A Custom to LLC for multiple projects at my house. They have been prompt, professional and well priced. Customer experience & job satisfaction is very evident with this company! I have had a very positive experience with A Custom To. I have given up on the big companies who only go after the really big jobs I wanted to partner with a company that was responsive. We had one slight issue, but they were back immediately and took care of the issue. Mistakes happen all the time but it means more to me on how a business takes care of the problem and they were really on top of it. I 100% recommend them and will be using them again & again!

What a frustrating experience. I wanted some repair work done to my chimney cap and the surrounding wood trim and “A Custom To’s” website made it sound like they would be the right company for the problem because of the range of their services which included repairing chimney caps and siding. I made a request for an estimate through their website and explained the problem and said I could supply photos if that would help. They called and we set up a time for the estimate, about 3 weeks out because they were so busy. I left work early to be there, but then no one showed up. They said they had been unable to contact us for a confirmation and so they canceled. My wife and I had both spoken to to office to set up the time and explained that it could be no earlier in the day because I would be at work and I can’t be reached while I’m there. Ok, I said, let’s try again on Monday afternoon . On Monday morning the office called my wife and canceled the estimate appointment. They said they didn’t feel like they could do the job. They said they canceled because they had checked my house out on Google Street View and decided they couldn’t do the work. Wow. Using Street View to do your estimates! The chimney problems I had brought up were all mentioned on their website as things they could do and I had offered to send pictures. My wife questioned why it took 3 weeks for them to figure that out and said she would be writing a bad review. Then Ken, the owner called and said he wanted to make things right, but then he said they couldn’t deal with a chimney cap. But he said he could still come out and take a look. Um, no. If you don’t think you can do the work, there’s no point, and I’m not going to take time off again and be canceled again or told, no, we don’t want the job. Three weeks wasted. So frustrating.

Just had A Custom To complete our roof yesterday. What I appreciated most of their work, besides the incredible job they did on our roof, is the consiatent communication that Keith had with us. He walked my wife and I through the process from start to finish, provided us with samples, gave us reccommendations, and was extremely considerate of our needs. He also beat several other quotes that we received prioor to using him. Keith was phenomenal in helping us pick out the right roof for us, and was never pushy.

We had several major weather issues during our roof replacement, amd Keith always was on top of it letting us know that they were looking for the quickest opportunity to complete our job.

I couldnt recommend his work enough. If I could give them 10 stats I would.
