Giving Andrew a shout out at 84 lumber in Ranson. Very professional and great to work with. Very knowledgeable helping us with a new roof.

The dock guys are top notch. It feels like visiting w/ family when I go there. They all work 2g super efficiently & w/out attitudes like a lot of other docks. They’re a busy store w/alot going on so they can’t always unload you right away but they do their best to keep the dock open . I rate this store up near the top of all of the stores I deliver to..

If you have a time limit on a project then I suggest not going to this 84 lumber. I have been waiting to hear back for over a month now for a price of a window. I have called and called and they keep telling me that they haven’t heard anything back. I find that hard to believe after a month. They eventually just stopped returning my emails to them and I still have yet to hear from them. If they are too busy to do a quote on one window I understand just tell me so I can go elsewhere.

If you are on a timeline for your building project I wouldn’t even waste your time stepping foot on this property. 2-3 months ago we took very specific drawings and instructions into this location for a wood package quote. At that time we were told we would get a quote in a week or so. The person who took our information was going to be out of town, but assured us he would pass it to someone for it to be completed. 3 weeks passed and we had not heard from 84 lumber. I called and spoke to an associate who stated our quote had gotten shuffled into a pile and not completed or sent in. He said he’d send it in and we would have a quote within a week. Several weeks later we still did not have our quote. I called and spoke to the original guy we dealt with and he said that he’d take care of it and get back to us. Long story short, we waited 3 months for a wood package quote and still don’t have one. They won’t even return our phone calls so that we can get an idea as to whether or not we should use another location or just withdraw our bid request all together. It’s unfortunate that they’ve pushed off our bid as it has delayed an entire process for us to build our addition and our garage. If you want to use 84 lumber, don’t use this one

Very friendly staff...they offer more (and cheaper) options versus Home Depot and Lowes in regards to lumber and specialty moldings. I will definitely use them for all of my home remodeling needs.
