Awesome is the only word I can use to describe the service I got. Russell Dennis was great. He explained everything we needed and everything he did complete with pictures.

The technician arrived on time, was very professional, and thoroughly reviewed the process with me. I appreciated the clear communication and efficient service.

They did fix my AC in the end, but the entire process was a nightmare. Back in May, they quoted me around $1,800 for the repair. They came out, didn’t actually fix anything, and still charged me $800. I had to call them back to finish the job, and they said they could, but then they changed the quote to $1,200. I never received a bill for that amount, and even after three follow-up phone calls, they didn’t send it.

Then out of nowhere, I got a bill for almost $1,400. On top of that, I got a random call saying a tech was “on the way,” even though I hadn’t scheduled anything. When I called to clarify, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about and said the account was probably “closed late by Alex.”

Now, as of July 24, they’ve sent another bill for almost $300—no explanation, no clarity.

So yes, my AC works now, but the miscommunication, surprise charges, and general disorganization were beyond frustrating. I almost never leave bad reviews, but this experience really deserves one

Called on a Thursday and was scheduled for the next day. Damien was on time and professional.

Fatback and Key installed a mini split in our family room. They were very prompt, courteous, and did excellent work. I’ve had multiple units installed by 1st choice and can tell you they stand behind their work. I highly recommend them. .

The service is FANTASTIC. Our Technician, Lance H., was amazing. Explained everything he was doing, didn’t leave a mess and came in under estimate. If you need heating, air or plumbing help, this is the place to call!

They really are our "1st Choice"! We had two emergency issues in back-to-back weeks and we couldn't have asked for better.

First, our AC had issues and Damien Shauf was out to look at it (there was a thunderstorm mid-call and he waited to help us ❤️). It was a wire short, and it was safely fixed within an hour. Almost immediately the temperature in the house was dropping like we wanted.

Then, this week we had a plumbing scare. Within a couple hours, Russell Dennis was out and checking under and around the house to save us from that. He even went back a second time to make sure everything was sound.

This team is top quality. They are thorough and want to make sure that you are safe and taken care of before they go. I wasn't pushed to buy anything extra and felt that they were both friendly and honest. Next time we need help, we're coming back to 1st Choice Quality Heating and Air.

Rodney done an exceptional job, I had just purchased this home and AC unit was a mess. Rodney cleaned the unit and made sure it was running completely. I would highly recommend Rodney for getting the job done.

My kitchen sink has been stopped up for way too long. Russel had the lines cleaned out in less than 20 minutes. I really appreciate the quick response and will definitely be calling back for any future issues.

Damien was very knowledgeable and diagnosed and repaired my ac unit very quickly. He was very safety conscious and made sure he cleaned up after himself. I couldn't have asked for a more professional technician!

I had the most unexpected but wonderful event happen when Damien came to check out my AC unit. Because of my finances, I’m not able to do A yearly check up, but I also know that maintenance is a big part of continuing cool and Warm air.

I had a pipe line leak outside. Lance Howie did a great job! He was very knowledgeable, very informative, very professional, and very efficient! He didn’t waste any time getting the job done and I was clear about everything at all times. He went above and beyond his duties, and he did an excellent job cleaning up after himself! Drayton and Chris were awesome! They got our AC unit back up and running in like 15 minutes! Highly recommend these guys, we’ve used them for years including for our last unit replacement.

We called 1st Choice Quality Heating & Air after having another company cause damage in our house.
Russell Dennis did AMAZING, he was very polite, straight to work, and finished the job in less than 2 hours, whereas other companies told us it would be an all day job. He corrected the pitch for the washing machine drain, and fixed our pipe that wasn't up to code. 10/10 recommend, definitely will be calling him for further plumbing work! Thanks again Russell!

Our AC was not keeping up with the heat and humidity. Damian arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time, which was great! He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He serviced the unit quickly explained what we should expect for improved performance. All we needed was a rechage and cleaning. We have 2 more units on the house and 1st Choice will be our first choice when they need service!

Our Technician Damien is the best!!! I feel very comfortable that when he examines our unit everything is taken care of.

Easy like peasy , good communication , on time with The new hvac system . These guys went to work , had the system installed in roughly 4-5 hours . No issues . So far so good . Thank you !!

Rodney had a very busy day. Was scheduled to show up between 1-3pm and although that didn’t go as planned he called as well as Bonnie from the office to reconfirm that he would arrive and apologize for the late arrival. I needed a second opinion on my newly constructed home. I had a lot of problems that the builder didn’t want to admit. I hired 1st choice to come check it out.
Immediately upon arrival, Damien was polite and knowledgeable. He identified exactly what was happening with my unit. He was using terms I wasn’t familiar with so he had to dumb it down a little for me. He showed concern, shared knowledge, and suggested what their company could do for my situation.

Russell came to give an estimate on the job. He was very courteous, friendly, and professional. He examined the faucet in the kitchen sink and agreed that it needed replacing. He consulted some online companies and showed me several designs with a wide range of price. When asked if I would purchase, I stated that I would prefer that the plumber is in charge of purchasing a faucet. I would feel more comfortable knowing that he ask all the right questions.

Mr Dennis Russell was an amazing technician. He was very helpful, and very professional. He explained everything and made sure to answer all of our questions. Great customer service. Called and made an appointment and they were quick on getting me scheduled. Will be using them again!

Didnt try to do anything but sell me a brand new 12000 dollar unit..charged me 100 for him to come out and look at the unit and say sorry we cant do anything for it..it needs to be replaced...but never took out any tools or looked at duct work under the house..i wont be using them again..they arent trying to help anyone but their own bottom line.

1st Choice Quality Heating and Air replaced 2 2.5 ton heatpumps for me today for a great price. The technicians Key, Brandon, and Chris did an excellent job. I will recommend this company to everyone.

We had a new HVAC system installed 3 years ago, and have maintained our inspection program with 1st Choice. Today, Dray Epps came out for the six month inspection. He was professional, friendly, and courteous. Dray even took a look at the thermostat my hubby installed and adjusted it. We highly recommend this company.

His quiet demeanor was great and Professional, and he took the time to hear my thoughts about our air conditioner situation. He didn’t take long to describe the problem. I had hip surgery and he was very patient and understanding with my thoughts and feelings due to my medication. Thank you first choice. I love this company and do not wish to erase any of my post on this company. Bobbi and everyone at the office is very supportive and helpful. Very nice and friendly.
