We hired Zicklin Contracting to rebuild our backyard brick steps and retaining wall, and the entire experience was outstanding. Raj and his team were incredibly organized and professional from start to finish. One day, they had six workers on site, all working efficiently and keeping everything clean and on schedule. The workmanship is beautiful—solid, clean lines, and built to last. Raj personally oversaw the project and made sure every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-run contracting company, this is it. Highly recommend!

Basically the whole block received sidewalk violations (only in NYC).
My husband, who use to do concrete work in his youth, saw the completed job on a neighbor's sidewalk and thought it was done well.
So we called Zicklin Contracting for a quote and timeline. The quote was reasonable and the timeline was good and the work they did was excellent.

The Queens dept of building issued a zoning issue related to our front yard. The front yard was completely covered with concrete decades ago. Zoning must have been changed and now requires at least 25 percent area with soil for plants. Zicklin Contracting was hired to help remedy the issue. They were very communicative , responsive and quickly came with a crew to remove the necessary concrete at a reasonable price. The job was completed very professionally and I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to use them again. W.T. Owner of the property.

My basement was a complete renovation due to a flood issue. I have never had to deal with a major construction project, but it was made easier due to the help of the contractor and his team. I recently had my basement renovated by Zicklin Contracting, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Raj, Sam, and the rest of the team did an excellent job transforming the space. Everything looks fantastic, with new flooring .The bathroom update is also amazing. The new vanity and fixtures make it feel modern and elegant. The tile work is flawless. My new living area and kitchenette are perfect. The living space is cozy with a big TV. Raj and his team, especially Sam, were professional and kept us updated throughout the project. They made sure everything was clean and tidy. I highly recommend Zicklin Contracting for any renovation needs. Thanks to them, our basement is now a beautiful and functional space we love.

Raja and his people were incredible. I called many contractors but the work I needed help was considered 'minor work' and they told me to call someone else. One of our kitchen cabinets fell and I was worried no one would come but luckily Raja answered my phone call. He scheduled one person from his team to come the next day, and had it fixed within the day. His worker also found the other cabinets were loose as well, and fixed them as well. I highly recommend people call Raja and his team for any help you need in your house.

We had a great experience with Zicklin. We required brickpointing, repair and waterproofing of a portion of our home and repair of concrete around our home. They were able to start in a timely matter. They constantly checked in with us regarding the quality of their work. They made sure that everything requested was completed. Two years ago, we hired Raja and his team to replace half of our roof. I noticed that we were beginning to have a problem with water collecting in some areas. I called Raja. He showed up the same day to inspect the issue. He agreed to correct the potential problems.
Today, Miguel and his helper spent several hours working diligently on the roof. They corrected all issues that existed. My roof looks exactly as it did 20 years ago. Time will tell whether the roof will stand up to the elements. But, I am so happy with the final result. I appreciate a contractor that insures their customer is 100% satisfied. He told me step by step what he would do to install a new flat rook system on my 30 unit building . There were NO surprises. He guarantees a 15 year warranty and stands by it. When Raj first arrived to look at my roof and bid the job I almost laughed out loud as he has a very professorial look. He appears as if he would be far more appropriate to be seen in a college classroom. He is neat and tidy. Not a hair out of place. He guarantees that he will leave your home as he found.
