Had many project pile up when I moved to my new place so I called SoHo via a recommendation from my neighbor. They took care of my to do list in ONE day! Very happy with the services, would definitely recommend.

In my experience with handymen in NYC, it has been exhausting. Never on time, barely experienced or just a no show. This organization was the complete opposite. For a faucet repair: they outdid themselves. Repaired our water pressure without asking too. It’s been broken for years but they fixed it randomly haha. We are ecstatic, thank you all!!

These people are straight up crooks. After taking my money, they would not complete work. After five months of attempts, I asked for a refund and they then ghosted me. They stole about $800. You can see that this is a pattern as they run a bunch of individual websites for handyman services that tie back to the same people, many of which have been identified as scams. Do not under any circumstance use this service or engage with this business unless you want to get robbed.

I found this company online and called to get a quote on hanging a mirror. I liked the price I got so I told them to come and do the work. When - arrived he said that the mirror was much larger than the size I told them and usually the price they charge for hanging such a mirror is higher but still he said he would not charge me extra and would stick to the original price. My husband and I bought a 75" smart TV for the living room. We also bought a TV mount, but when - arrived he noticed that the TV mount was too small for this TV. I told him I would order a new one and call him when it arrived. He insisted and went to buy a suitable TV mount and came back the same day to hang the TV. I am so happy with my new TV. I’m so glad I got alex to put proper acrylic grouting between our shower tiles. Got the perfect colour, did it so professionally. Took much longer than expected because he was doing it so neatly. It is amazing how aesthetically pleasing a job well done looks!

No job is simple if you want to get it done correctly. I just hired alex to get my new kitchen cupboards installed. Our kitchen is used heavily and our worn down, filthy kitchen cupboards definitely brought the experience of the kitchen down a lot. These cabinets were semi-custom as our kitchen is an odd shape. They were done beautifully and the kitchen feels lighter and like a whole new place. Alex really took the time to make sure each step was done with the overall vision of the kitchen in mind. I loved the experience of hiring soho handyman to do my cupboards!

Our oven in the apartment stopped working, Alex arranged with us for the next day in the morning and arrived at the time we arranged. He patiently explained to us exactly what the problem was, fixed it and charged a fair price. recommended!

We thought that replacing our light fixture would be as easy as 1-2-3, but had a rude awakening. The wiring underneath was a total mess and we soon realised that we were out of our depth. It was also the cause of all our other electrical issues in the house. Luckily, I had alex number on hand from a previous job. They came, did a quick and very accurate diagnoses and got to work. They cleaned up all past mistakes and made sure they job was done procedurally. We now feel that if there ever was a time that we removed the light fixture, what we find underneath won’t be a nightmare. Big ups to these guys!

A bed in a hostel has a lot it needs to be. Mainly strong. I was so happy with this installation as they made sure that the bed was sturdy enough to be able to handle the daily strain a bed in a hostel is under. We are now not worried of the bed collapsing, not handling, weight, wobbling, or toppling over as it has been secured in all the places it has to be.

My penthouse in Manhattan is a space that I have meticulously curated. It is not only the things inside that reflect this curation, but also the placing of things, and how things are made, fixed, assembled etc. I couldn’t be there when this handyman installed my flat screen tv, but he listened extremely attentively as I gave him all the instructions for exactly how I wanted. In an office block in Soho literally no one has time to get bulbs replaced. However, our office corridors are not a space we can afford for people to hang around in too long. This handyman got the brief. He was in and out as fast as possible. Quiet, efficient, no mess or hassle.

The job was done with attention to detail, a proper clean up post job, and substantial feedback as to how to avoid a similar occurrence in the future. A hassle-free experience overall.
