We have used Zerman Restoration on two occasions. Once to identify and fix the source of a leak from our gutters and windows all the way down to our basement. The insurance company denied our claim but Zerman went above and beyond by hosing down the outside of the house to prove where the leak came from. Eventually, after an long appeal process, insurance agreed to pay. Had it not been for Zerman Restoration, we would have been out of pocket thousands of dollars.

The second time we used them to install a new roof. They were timely, professional, excellent value for money, and cleaned up after the work was done as if they hadn’t been there.

Working with Zach on my roof project was a great experience. I bought an old house, with a pretty decent roof, several years ago. The flashing was done by someone who apparently did not know what they were doing. Not only was it barely functional, it was ugly.

Fast forward a couple of years, and it was time to get the roof re-done. One of the things I loved about working with Zach was that he used experts for each part of the job: gutters, siding, flashing and roofing. Instead of using the same people or doing all of the work himself, he works the best. He coordinates the process seamlessly, because he believes in active communication; both with his sub-contractors and his customers.

During my job, there was a mix-up with a supplier (not Zach’s fault, the supplier delivered the wrong supplies) and he was able to work around the problem and still get the job done, ahead of schedule! I recommend Zerman Restoration for any roofing job; large or small, recovery from storm damage or simply when it is time for a new roof.

We used Zerman Restoration for a roof and siding repair job, based on a recommendation from our neighbor. They were responsive and professional, and did high quality work at a fair price.

We needed to get our roof replaced quickly and Zach Zerman worked with us to make it happen. He met with us, showed us a variety of options and helped us select our roof. We were amazed at how good of a roof we could get for an affordable price. Work began quickly and the result was fantastic. His crew did a great job with removal of the existing roof, installation of the new roof and clean-up. Our roof looks great. We found it easy to communicate with Zach throughout the process, and he didn't set us aside when the job was done. We had a follow-up issue a couple of months later and even though the issue was not connected directly to the roof, he fixed it for us anyway. If all contractors were as cooperative, available, thorough and ethical as Zach Zerman, homeowners would never have to worry about being treated fairly. He gets my highest recommendation.

Some strong wind blew apart a small section of Soffit and Aluminum fascia on Friday. Concerned that it would continue to come apart If I delayed a repair too long Zach was willing to come out on a Sunday and fix the damage. Since I had all the pieces that blew off other than the fasteners he was very honest about not needing to give me an estimate on material cost. After he resecured everything he told me why he thought it occurred in the first place (staples instead of actual nails from the previous contractor) and what I should keep an eye on. Before he left I asked him to inspect my roof for damage and was also very upfront about not needing to replace it at the moment. All in all I was glad he was referred to me, would use him again, and would definitely refer to others. I believe he also does gutters and siding as well. Five stars

With me being a first time homeowner, I was a bit naive to what my home needed, especially when it comes to roofing. Turns out due to the most recent hail storm, my roof needed to be repaired as it was worse than I thought (I had a hole in my roof!). Zach did an outstanding job when it came to helping me file the claim with my insurance company, providing me with the paperwork that he knew my insurance company would be asking for to speed up the process. My new roof looks outstanding.

After seeing how my roof turned out, I was confident enough in Zerman Restoration to complete the siding that I needed on my home as well. The pricing was exactly what I was expecting and I wouldn't have asked for a more professional job done. My siding was completed within one week including gutters and it looks great. Zerman Restoration did a wonderful job replacing the counter flashing on the roof of our sun room. Zach got his team out to fix our leak within a week of me contacting them. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for help!

I had Zerman Restoration come out and look at my roof after another contractor and insurance adjuster were here. Originally I was told there wasn't enough hail damage to file a claim. I would have been paying several thousand dollars out of pocket. Zerman Restoration came out and inspected it, found there was significant damage and triggered State Farm to come back out for another inspection. He went up on the roof and pointed out all the damage, and this time the adjuster agreed to replace the roof. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and saved me from paying a ton of money out of pocket. I couldn't be happier with the results and have referred him to a few friends. Don't hesitate to call, he will deliver the results your looking for!

This was my first time working with Zerman Restoration and I had a really good experience. He was easy to reach and helped me work with the insurance company/adjuster to make sure that everything was ready to go in a timely manner. It was nice to pick out the exact roof color that I wanted and make improvements that he suggested based on his experience (that had not been on my previous roof). His team came and completed the project in one day and did an excellent job of cleaning up after the new roof was completed. The finished product was great and I would highly recommend this company.

Who wants to know that you have roofing or guttering problem? Being a home owner you are always concerned that someone or some company will give you something you do not need or at a price that is too high. This was an issue until Zerman Restoration evaluated my issue with guttering. My guttering problem was evaluated promptly and I received a reasonable bid. The owner reviewed the project with me and was at my house for the work. Then there was the unexpected! I needed to have carpentry work as a portion of the roof had rotten wood. The roof needed repairs and replacement boards. It was the end of the day and the work crew did not want to leave without completing the work as rain was forecast. At the end of the day, beyond their normal working hours they jumped into their truck and obtained the needed material at the local hardware store. They then returned to complete the job! Then it rained cats and dogs! The added work was completed at a very reasonable cost. The added work costs were itemized and without surprises. Zerman restoration latter in the week called to follow up on the work to make sure everything worked as planned. That was a nice touch!
The big surprise in having work completed by Zerman Restoration is that such a young organization does business with old fashion values. I felt assured that they were treating my job as they would their own home!
