*DO NOT HIRE!* - STAY AWAY! My experience with Zefer Contracting was beyond poor on two levels - Contractual and Personal/Ethical. After being referred to Zefer, I requested they provide a quote for work that needed to be completed after a supply line broke and flooded a portion of my home. Without my knowledge or approval, yet knowing my insurance claim #, they contacted my insurance agency who provided Zefer with the amount of my total claim (another issue that I have since handled with my insurance company by firing them and finding a new provider!). Zefer said they could to the work (and get my home livable) ASAP, but that i needed to sign their contract stating they would get ALL of my insurance proceeds. Not only is that manipulative, borderline fraudulent, but the pressure sales tactics of calling and texting incessantly was icing on the cake you never wanted to take a bit of. This company is deceitful, and they prey on those who need work done quickly and have insurance money to do that.....issue is, Zefer needs to provide formal quotes and NOT blanket contracts to receive ALL INSURANCE MONIES - even my Insurance Company at the time of the claim was appalled and said do not use this company. There are too many reputable, above-board companies with whom to trust your business, your money, and the remodel/renovation/repair of your home. Zefer is not one of them. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Zefer Contracting left the job at our home incomplete and have failed to respond to numerous requests to get in touch with them. I initially contacted Zefer as I was purchasing a home and had some repairs that needed to be completed per the inspection report. I first spoke to Cole Eckles, a salesperson. He and Matt Wilson, project manager, came out to the house to give me an estimate on the repairs to use in negotiations with the seller. After we closed on the home, I decided to use them to do the repairs since they had been so professional in the initial phase. Plus, my husband and I vetted them by checking their reviews and calling references. The job was supposed to begin the week of November 13th and should have taken 3-5 days. I paid them 50% of the job upfront--big mistake! They didn't show up until Tuesday, the 15th and sent a guy named Keith who we had never met before. No one contacted us and said, oh by the way, we know you have been dealing with Matt, but Keith is now the project manager. Keith had no clue what he was supposed to be doing, didn't have a copy of the inspection report, no materials, no supplies NOTHING! Oh and Keith brings one person with him for the job--ONE. And he had just been hired by Zefer the week before. There should have been crew to do the work. I texted Cole on Thursday, November 16th to complain. I told Cole that we were disappointed that not much of the work had been completed and that we expected them to do what they promised. He assured me they would Oh and Cole was AWOL claiming to be sick with strep throat the first day and then by the end of the week was in Michigan for a wedding. By Friday, I texted Cole again to let him that nothing had changed--none of the work was being done. The next week, we demand to meet with Matt and the company owner Ryan Lemonds. So, they came out to the house on Wednesday, November 21st. We explain our frustration and concern that no work was being done on a job that should have been completed in just a couple of days. They see that not much has been done and what has been completed is done haphazardly. Ryan assures my husband and me that the work will be completed by Friday December 1st and if it isn't completed by that date, we won't owe them any more money. What a joke! They had workers come on Thanksgiving Day to install an attic fan and the next week do about 5 hours worth of work. They were supposed to lifting a porch that was sinking because it had no foundation. They send some jack leg men to attempt to lift the porch. They are unable to complete the job and left the porch a mess. Now, no other company will touch it because they completely ruined it. We will now have to get the whole thing demolished and rebuilt. They were supposed to replace a screen door. They replaced it but failed to paint it or to put weather stripping on it. They were supposed to replace molded wood in the basement and ensure that the roof repair was done properly to avoid future leaking in that area. I'm actually glad they didn't get to that part of the job because they probably would not have done it properly and could potentially allow mold to remain in my home. Bottom line...these guys talk a good game but they are out of their wheelhouse when it comes to general construction work. And of course, they took my money and haven't refunded a penny. And trust me, the work that they did and the damage that they caused will cost me way more than the almost $7000 I paid them.

This company was extremely helpful and professional during my roof repair process! They gave me an estimate and gave helpful explanations that allowed me to made the right choice regarding my roofing options. We set up a date and they finished the installation within a day. They had reasonable pricing as well. I would definitely choose this company again for any future roofing needs.

Very POSITIVE experience working with Josh Greeson and ZEFER Contracting. Being a home owner for 30 years , I have never put a claim in on my homeowners insurance until now. Josh made the experience a breeze, answering all my questions in a timely and professional manner. I had Josh from Zefer Contracting inspect my roof and passed on his findings to my insurance company which ended up replacing my roof. The whole process was painless and the finished product, my roof , turned out beautiful. Zefer Contracting delivered on all thing discussed before my roofing project started and went above and beyond to deliver a perfect finished product.

Lee was helpful for me by interacting with my home owners insurance company. Lee met and accompanied the insurance inspector for the damage to my roof.

Zefer Contracting were careful with my plantings around my house and also moved the furniture and plantings on my patio. After the job was complete they cleaned up and replaced the items they have moved. They did this all in one day.

After the job was complete and the workers had left Lee “policed” the area to be sure all nails and debris were picked up.

My new roof looks great and I am very pleased with both Zefer Contracting and Lee Moore. I will be happy to recommend them to others.

We had a great experience with Zefer Contracting. They were very friendly and quick with the service. Once we contacted them we had a new roof in no time. They made filing a claim with my insurance company a breeze. I would definitely recommend them and I would use them for future jobs.

Very professional and reliable. Andrew was our contract person. He went above and beyond what we expected. Will definitely recommend him to family and friends. His caring nature and concern for others brought us together and it makes us feel like we have found a new friend .

Overall they did a great job from inspection to scheduling to installation. Two days on site. Good follow-up from management. Paperwork was painless.

Thanks to Ryan for helping us through the entire insurance process, answering our many questions and concerns. We really appreciate him coming out to meet with the adjuster , making it an easy process for us. On installation day 3/21/16 , Andy was on site to keep things running smoothly and make sure we were totally satisfied. They were professional, curteous and easy to work with. Our new roof looks amazing. Great work and excellent customer service, highly recommend the crew that handled our roof !! Thanks so much !!!
